I love that though it took nearly 3+ years for Colin to realize he loved Penelope, the moment he sees her slipping away, he acts. Sure, he gets a couple pep talks from mother dearest, but he acts, none the less. No fucking around, just unhinged action, in the most chaotic lover boy way possible.

Colin is so unhinged and we are all so totally here for it.

Decorum be damned... Debling be damned... The ton be damned...

Interrupting a dance like this is highly irregular, and you can see this on the faces of the other dancing couples. But Polin have never really adhered to the rules of propriety, so why would Colin start now? When he is so close to losing his best friend the love of his life?

The way Colin doesn't even look at Debling has me kicking my feets in delight...

He is of a singular mind right here and he wasn't going to lose his nerve again. Penelope is clearly pissed, but he soldiers on, and even when Debling storms off, Colin's glance toward the man is very "yea, that's right, walk away, this is my girl" and I live for it.

Chapter 3

You slurp on your fifth smoothie. You were sitting at a mr Smoothie tables with your partners and Argit. Listening to how Ben "made an exact copy of the universe" with alien X. You genuinely had thought you were all doomed when the annihilarrgh was activated, you'd never admit it though. It's a good thing it was only a dud. "Fine, don't believe me ? I don't care. I did it. I saved the universe, again !" You pinched the bridge of your nose. "That's all that matters. You should be thanking me !" After his little speech, he takes a sip of his smoothie with pride. You and the other aliens exchange looks : Argit out of concern for Ben's mental health, Rook out of confusion, and you out of tiredness.

Ben stops drinking his smoothie, taking a pause. "Doesn't taste the same..." He looks at his drink momentarily. He shrugs and continues drinking it. You really hoped that he wouldn't want it anymore, meaning more for you.

The topic of discussion quickly changed. Argit complained about Bulfrag not paying him, you threatened to put him in jail. Rook talked about his home planet, Ben about when he was 10 years old. Thinking about it, this was probably the first time in a long time you had what could be considered a normal hangout. You didn't have a lot of stories to offer but listening to others was soothing for your soul. Even if it's Ben boosting about his accomplishments. You had such a good time that for once, work wasn't on your mind. All this normalcy, it felt nice.

As the afternoon starts to set, you and your partners return to your patrols and Argit leaves the planet to go do his own business. In the proto - truck, you silently fill out reports and other documents as Rook and Ben chat. "Hey ! How about we have a game night after this ? That would be awesome !" Ben suggest. "What games are we playing ? I do not know many games on this planet." Rook ask. "Don't worry I'll teach you guys." Ben reassures. The brunet turns to you. "What do you think ?"

You don't answer at first. You'd normally reject his offer but you had pretty much wrapped up all important work for the day . In addition, it was a great learning opportunity about human culture. "Fine by me." Ben was kind of shocked, he'd thought you'd reject the idea immediately. It was a pleasant surprise.

The last patrol went smoothly. You all agreed to host the game night at the plumber HQ. On your way, you stopped by Ben's house so he could get his games.

"We have to start with a classic. A game that can ruin our friendship." Ben announces dramatically. "Why would we play it then ?" Rook ask. "I was just exaggerating, Rook. So here's the rules..." after a little explanation and a training round, You and your taller partner felt ready to play. "You guys aren't ready to get your butts kick-" Rook put down a plus four. "I do not have any yellow. So I have to put this card, right ?" You nod at Rook's question. "Yeah...buddy. Now you can pick a color..." Ben takes four cards from the deck, it was too early to feel discouraged he thought.

"Then I choose red." You silently look at your deck. Ben smirks. "Looks like you don't got any red-" you put down a plus four. "Haha ! It's karma Rook-" Ben couldn't help but cut himself when Rook added another plus four, he luckily had one of his own so put down the card. "You're getting a plus twelve, [name]." You looked at Ben blankly, you were serious about this game. "No." You put down another plus four. Ben and Rook exchanged a look. Rook held one of the card in his hand, it was easy to guess it was another plus four. "Rook, buddy, you know you aren't forced to play every one of your card, right ?" Ben tries to convince Rook. "I am sorry Ben, but I am not taking sixteen cards." Rook puts down his plus four. Ben knew it was going to be a long night.

"It's between you and me, Ben." You and Ben held two cards. The green eyed boy miraculously managed to make a come back after his plus twenty. "You better give up now, we both know who's the winner." Ben challenged. "Bold of you to assume I'd loose." You and Ben kept glaring at each other. You weren't a competitive player, you just didn't like loosing especially to the human boy in front of you. "Oh, hello magister Tennyson." "Grandpa Max ?" As soon as Ben turned around, you put your card down and shouted uno. Ben, realising the ruse lets out a grunt.

"Better be more on guard, Ben." You smirked victoriously. "Yeah, yeah. Oh, I think one of your ornaments is falling." "Really ?" Ben slams his card on the table, shouting uno faster than lightening. "Gotcha !" You bawled your fist, the smile on your face starting to crumble. "Oh, [name], you should've kept your guards up" Ben mocks. "I am going to put you in debt." You threaten. "You're just a sore loser." Ben responds smugly. "Ben, what color do you choose ?" Rook interrupts you and Ben's bickering. You and Ben cough simultaneously, acting like nothing happened. "Green" Rook puts down his last card. "I win."

You and Ben bickered so much that you didn't even notice Rook had one card left, or when he called out uno. "At least Ben didn't win" "at least [name] didn't win." You say in unison. You both share a look for moment before starting to bicker again. Rook watch in the sidelines. He didn't expect for you and Ben to be so competitive. Especially you. Ben he could guess. But you, most surprising thing he learned today. Rook sighed, he didn't know how much longer he could take.

"I would've have clearly won, I had the exact same card as rook." "Nuh uh" you raised your eyebrows at Ben. The brunette takes a moment to remember you aren't from earth. "When I say 'nuh uh' it means like I disagree with you, it's like no. The opposite of that would be 'yuh uh' that means yes." You take notes on your tablet, very intrigued by human lingos. "It's getting late, I will be heading off. Have a good night Ben and [name]." Rook gets up, and leaves the room. Ben checks the clock on the wall, finally realising how late it was. "We spent 2h on one single game of uno ?!" He exclaims. "I thought we would have more time for other games." You honestly expressed.

"I better head off home now. My mom is going to kill me..." Ben starts putting back the game of uno in its package and pick ups all the other board games you didn't get to play. "Gosh, I sometimes wish I still had my car..."he complains. "What happened to it ?" You ask. "I don't even know. Just disappeared." You shake your head. "You ought to take better care of your belongings." You got up and walk up next to Ben. "I'll accompany you back home." Ben looks at you, taken back by your statement. "What ? I can go back home on my own. Do you know how to drive ?" You shake your head again. "I just want to make sure you're safe. And no, I can't drive but I know a quick and easier way to get you home. "I have a bad feeling about this..." Ben voiced his concerns

And he was right. "My house is there." He points at the house bellow you. At the moment, you were carrying him, bridal  style flying to his house. Ben wasn't afraid of heights, if you were to accidentally drop him then he could turn into one of his aliens. But knowing you, unless you really hated his guts then you wouldn't try and drop him to his death. "Can you go by this window ?" You raised your eyebrow at the suggestion. "Why not enter by your door ?" You ask, stoping in front of his window. "I don't want to wake up and deal with my parent's anger." The omnitrix user transforms into grey matter and is able to find a way to enter his room. You only look at his little figure, carrying the little Ben in your palms to wherever he needed to be.

After entering his room, the same boy transforms back to his original form and opens his window. "Thanks for the ride." Ben expresses his gratitude. You nod, ready to bid you goodbye to the hero. Your attention is grabbed by how messy the boy's room looks. Ben noticing your silence gives you a weird look. "Is there something wrong ?" "Can I enter your room ?" You ask urgently. The brunette is surprised by your request but lets you in anyways. "Don't tell me you're planning on having a sleepover here ?" Ben jokes. You ignore his comments, more curious about the chaos in the boy's room.

Unsurprisingly, the dominant colour of the hero's room was his signature green. Poster of his favorite series hung on the wall, the mr smoothie one and checkered pattern being the only ones familiar to you. A tower of empty mr Smoothie cups leaned on his nightstand. The shelves housed mostly figurines and action figures, with some books at the bottom. You walked a closer to the shelves near his door, trying not to walk on the books, dirty laundry and much more rubbish on the floor. "Be careful ! I haven't had the time to clean my room, yet..." Ben nervously watch as you examined his room. You silently hummed, halting your steps. Finally faced with the only framed picture in the room. A picture of Ben and his previous companions, Gwendolyn Tennyson and Kevin Levin.

You stare at the framed picture. You could hear Ben's footsteps, standing next to you, following your stare. "Do you miss them ?" Ben didn't flinch at your question. "Always. But it's not like I'll never see them again, just less than before." He answers with no hesitation. "Ben, if you don't mind me asking...What's it's like to have a family on earth ?" Ben felt puzzled by your question, pondering over his words. "Well, they can sometimes get on my nerves." He rest his arms behind his head. "Some of the rules my mom has kind of annoys me but I know she's just trying to protect me even though I'm like the hero of the universe. Grandpa Max reprimands me but I know he's just trying me make me a better person. Gwen is just a dork, a nice one. Don't tell her I said that or she'll have my head severed." The brunette puts a finger over his lips playfully. "Overall, they can count one me and I can count on them." He affirms. Trying to mask the gentleness in his voice with confidence.

You listen intently to his every word. A ghost like smile making its way on your lips. "What about you ? What's your family like back on your planet ?" The hero ask, taking the opportunity to try and get more answers on the topic of your home planet. You don't answer at first, taking some time to ponder over it.

"I have no family. On my home planet, the word didn't exist. "Really ? Is there like an alternative ?" You shake your head. "So what do you guys call each other ?" Ben ask. "By name. I think you don't understand Ben, we don't reproduce on planet. We're birthed by the tree of wisdom." Ben's jaw when agape. "Wait, so you're telling me a tree gave birth to you and the rest of your people ?!" You nod. "How's that even possible ?! Does it mean you're all related then ?" You rest your finger in your chin, pondering over his question. "I don't think so, the rare ornix birthed from another ornix look very much normal." You answered. "If you guys can have kids why is there a damn tree doing that for you ?" Ben felt very lost.

"I don't know but it was a great asset since the majority were too preoccupied oppressing others and staying in power then reproducing." You explained. Ben scratched his head. "Man, your planet sounds like a real hassle." You gave hummed at his response. "That's why they all died." Ben was taken aback by your statement, remembering you were the last ornix currently alive. "Isn't that pretty harsh ? How did that even happen ?"

"The tree that birthed us just ate everyone and the planet. I escaped with the help of someone. But I wasn't quick enough since that damn tree snatched one of my wings." You say casually like it was a daily annoyance. Ben gave you a worried look. "Isn't that a happy story..." he sarcastic remarks.

"You better start cleaning your room, Ben. How do you sleep in such a filthy place ?" You switched the subject. Walking around and putting the rubbish in his room in a trash bag. "What are you, my mom ?" You pick up a picture of a black haired girl, ready to put it in the trash bag. "Wait, be careful ! That's a picture of my girlfriend !" You stopped midway, taking a closer look at the girl on it. She had black hair styled into cut pigtails and wore a pink jacket over a white shirt. She looked too good for Ben.

"You're telling me a woman is sane enough to be physically and emotionally attracted to you ?" You just couldn't believe Ben was able to be in a relationship with such a pretty girl. "Yup ! You're jealous ? But she hasn't called or answered my text for the past year. She must be super busy !" Ben cheerfully says.

You hope it was some strange human custom because from your understanding, if your significant other doesn't attempt to speak to you for at least a year then they aren't your significant other anymore. In short it was a breakup. You decided not to comment, you were more occupied on cleaning Ben's dirty room. Ben was by your side helping out and telling you what not to throw out. After a while, Ben's room was probably the cleanest it has ever been. "Wow, I should hire you as my maid." You gave him a strained smile before assaulting him with your wing. Your expressions displaying your anger. "I was just joking ! Okay, I'm sorry !" Ben pleaded desperately.

"Ben ? Since when did you get home ?" A feminine voice asked from outside Ben's room, sending the boy into a panic state. "Quick !" He pushes you near the window. "You need to get out, my mom is probably already angry with me coming home late. She'll also wonder why a girl is in my room and I don't want her to think I'm cheating on Julie." You sigh, nodding and flying out of his window. You waved him goodbye. Before he had time to reciprocate, you had already left.

After dealing with his mother, Ben plops himself in his bed. In his attempt to fall asleep, when turning towards his nightstand he noticed something. It was a little sumo wrestler keychain. The brunette picks up the keychain, examining it closely. He already knew who gifted it to him. He smiles, putting the trinket down. He'd thank you tomorrow for the gift. That night, sleep came in easy for him.

"Rook, isn't that the sumo thing Ben likes ?" You ask Rook while passing by a sumo wrestler claw machine. It was your afternoon patrol with Rook. Ben was off doing his own thing. Rook glanced at the machine, recognising the mascot Ben always talks about. "I think it is the sumo wrestler franchise that Ben likes."

You look at the strange machine. You take out a coin and insert it in the machine. "What are you doing [name] ?" Rook was bewildered seeing you play some game instead of focusing on the current patrol like you usually do. "I'm playing this confusing game..." after your first attempt, you grasped the rules of the game and attempted multiple strategies to try and get one of the keychains in it. "I can see that but why are you playing it ? Do you too enjoy the sumo wrestler content ?" Rook ask. "Ever since that creature has been hunting Ben, he's been more troubled. So I seek to lift his spirits up by giving him one of these trinket. If I am able to win..." you groaned as the keychain slipped off the claw. You insert another coin in the machine, not giving up.

Rook smiles. He stands by your side, helping you out and cheering you on in your attempts. You and him do the human act of high fiving when you finally win one of the keychains.

Dylan would tutor him about pup-care, Dolly would gode him into trying sports and using him as a pillow for her stunts… And maybe teach him how to the iconic Ba-la-la-la-la fist bump! I mean, it's what makes him Baymax!🤜🤛

Speaking of which… I'm already drafting a fanfic story for a 101DS x Baymax crossover fanfic that I want to at least get done by May!✏️📖

(I'm still drafting on the 101DS + Pikmin crossover story as we speak. I've been out of the writing game for a while, so I'm working to get back into the habit of it)

Reader: female

Warnings: typical canon violence, Van Kleiss, mainly Fluff.

• Sometimes the reader missed how things were before. Before the nanite event, before all the weird stuff. But at the same time, those times were now so unfamiliar to her, that her present felt almost...normal.

• First of all, reader was simply happy with her life in the countryside, exploring caves, and encountering the strangest creatures possible in the forest. Just for fun.

• Sure, that didn't make her very popular among people, but it wasn't something relevant to her. As long as the reader was happy, that was all that mattered.

• That was something that still remained, reader decided to go live more in the city for the safety of her family and farm pets, but she still had her customs that people found strange.

• How to collect objects that she found on the street that she considered interesting, such as gears, amulets, stones with strange shapes, etc.

• The people of the city knew her, a strange, but charming girl. That sometimes he would just disappear for long periods of time, and come back out of nowhere. It was something inexplicable, but she won people's hearts with her kindness.

• It was not known if she went to school or not, but she definitely had a high level of intelligence, although that was not the strangest thing, the strange thing was the physical ability she had despite being someone who did not play sports.

• Some swore they could see a flash of savagery in the reader's eyes every time she showed that strength. There was something about her that wasn't right.

• However, it was not what Rex noticed with the naked eye. Probably because when he met her it was when he fell from a great height facing an EVO and landed right in front of her. the cure to the EVO! But it was definitely very damaged.

• The first thing Rex saw as a reader was how she threw some cold water on his face to make sure he was alive and had even put some adhesive band-aids on him.

• At first Rex was a little upset, but when he remembered what happened and understood what the reader did, he was grateful and they talked a little (after all, Rex wanted to take advantage of the fact that he was already in the city and not have to go back to Providence so soon)

• Rex and reader had a pleasant afternoon, and he left happy to have made something of a new friend.

• When Rex told Noah some time later, he was surprised to see how Noah almost seemed scared of this information. But this surprise turned into disappointment when he learned the reason, the reader's supposed “reputation” of being a weirdo.

• Honestly it wasn't something that Rex cared about, for the love of God, HE IS AN EVOS WHO CURE EVOS, even if reader could be involved in something suspicious, nothing could be weirder than that!

• (REX WAS NOT PREPARED FOR THE SURPRISE THAT WAS IN THE FUTURE)

• The next few times Rex ran into Reader, he was able to see for himself her somewhat strange habits, but it wasn't something he couldn't handle, on the contrary, he thought they were funny. Sometimes he even brought her things from providence just to see her reaction.

• There were times when Rex offered the reader to go to Providence, but she seemed to reject the idea, almost seemed scared (which, fair enough, Providence can be terrifying for civilians, so he didn't press the issue).

• Reader sometimes brought Rex knick-knacks as gifts, bears she made out of interesting objects she found (like an ornament with gears or an amulet “doll”), which, while unusual, we're talking about REX, who He rarely receives gifts, so you can bet he would DIE for these odds and ends.

• There were times (which Rex HATED) when Bobo would join his get-togethers with the reader, and would not stop making jokes about how they made a “very cute couple of lovebirds” (much to the reader's embarrassment and Rex's fury).

• There were times when Rex had to leave the reader in order to save the day, but she was always understanding and gave him a thumbs up wishing him luck.

• reader was willing to meet Noah! However, this ended badly…

• Noah couldn't help but feel that something was WRONG with reader, so when Rex invited him on an outing WITH READER he couldn't contain himself, and tried to get all the information possible out of him. Why did she constantly leave town? Was she interested in Rex in any way? Why doesn't anyone know anything about her?

• Rex cut Noah off before it could get worse, but the seed was sort of planted in Rex's head, he trusted the reader, but at the same time did he really know anything about her?

• Fortunately, it didn't take long until he got communication from the reader.

• Well, more like a message, where she said that he should go to a certain point outside the city, that way he would know why she is like that.

• Rex was…confused, but decided to go alone. He didn't even think that it could be something dangerous when he arrived at a completely abandoned and ruined place.

• Not at least, until he hears something crawling over his head.

• And when he looked up, he saw a gigantic red, scaly mass, with feathers and wings, that stretched for several meters. But that wasn't the most bizarre thing, the most bizarre thing was that the creature's head was the upper part of the reader's body.

• Rex tried to cure her, this was clearly the effect of the nanites, but every time he tried, “reader” sent him away with her massive tail. They were like this for a very good time. Rex didn't even notice when the sun rose. But he did notice when the reader's monstrous appearance changed again.

• And it looked so… painful.

• Rex took the reader to Providence after that, where she explained everything. It turns out that she used to be a member of the Pack, an EVO converted based on Van Kleiss's unstable nanites, which caused the reader to have to free that...thing from time to time, or she might die. But she didn't want to hurt people. That's why she run away.

• She wanted to stay away from Van Kleiss, so she made sure there was no information about her in this “new life.”

• (if Rex hated Van Kleiss before, well, now he despises him : ) )

• Rex fears hurting Reader by curing her of Van Kleiss' nanites, but Holiday assures him that they will find a way to help her safely. Until then, she can stay in providence.

• If we look at the relationship in general, it is very sweet.

• First of all, Rex would never, EVER reject the reader just because of her appearance, she didn't ask for the nanites (or Van Kleiss) to turn her into that, she chose not to hurt people, she is more than just the “monster.” and won't let her forget it.

• Probably, by protocol, they have to lock the reader somewhere in Providence during her transformations, during those days Rex stays next to the door of her cell and talks to her, it seems to calm her down.

• Speaking of, Rex is more than willing to beat the shit out of any idiot who thinks the reader is a threat or a freak. His fists are suitable for all audiences. ESPECIALLY Van Kleiss if he tries to convince the reader to return to her “family”

• Rex also tries to make the tests as least invasive as possible (especially when Caesar arrives and finds the reader “fascinating”)

• Rex probably gives the reader her own knick-knacks, things more elaborate with the metal trash that there is by providence, you can see how he tries to make it look good, it's adorable.

• TRIPS. IN. THE. MOTORBIKE.

• Although the reader controls herself enough in her chimera form, Rex is not against trying to fly with her.

• I imagine that while Rex is almost a mathematical genius, he definitely wouldn't do as well in subjects like literature or history, so reader is sort of like his tutor.

• Rex would definitely exaggerate his pain level after a mission just to get extra cuddles. I have no proof, but I have no doubt either.

• When will the reader be cured? Rex will be SO HAPPY :, ) and probably one of the first impulses he has when everything is over is to go on a date with a reader.

• Overall, two teenage mutants being sweet and good to each other.

Happy 10th anniversary Big Hero 6! 🤖👨‍⚕️👩‍⚕️🧑‍⚕️🏥

On this day November 7th 2014, Big Hero 6 (based on the comic book of the same name by Man of Action Entertainment) was released in theaters, directed by Don Hall and Chris Williams, and has an incredible voice cast of Ryan Potter, Daniel Henney, Scott Adsit, T.J. Miller, Alan Tudyk, Maya Rudolph, the late great Stan Lee and many more!

This film had an amazing mix of all cultures in a fictional City of San Fransokyo (A mix of San Francisco, California and Tokyo, Japan) and a mix of action and technology and a Japanese-American protagonist, Hiro Hamada and a healthcare robot named Baymax, made by his late brother, Tadashi

The animation looks completely wonderful as well as the story. All the people that work very hard in both the animation community and the animation studios did all they could to make this sensational masterpiece, along with one of my favorite songs Immortals by Fall Out boys.

This film is amazing along with his story

I give it 10 out of 10

I highly recommend this film for any Disney fan or fans of marvel as well
