Hoo here likes avatar….I sure do. AU where sakura is the avatar and has to complete her training by convincing the only waterbender that obeyed the law as little as she does. she’s originally a firebender but pretty much spent all her life in the earth kingdom to be trained behind the walls of the capital.

Water is a stronger element than she suspected it would be, notwithstanding the warnings Elder Chiyo had given her before about him after she’s arrived at the North Pole – only to discover that nobody there was even willing to teach her, therefore the only option being that she needed to scout out the criminal waterbender.

His name is Hisato. He’s super cool around his friends and a very clever boy! He thinks his dad’s puppets are weird, but what kid thinks their parents are ‘cool’?

Also since I know people are going to ask me I made an older Hisato as well

He hates anything about art because Sasori drained that out of him. So he rebels against his dad, but it always backfires like:

Does anyone remember Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution where they let you have your faves tag team in a giant tournament…great game

(Like in-game, Sakura gets invited to the Ninja World Tournament. Arriving on the island, she finds out, to her surprise, that old friends and enemies alike are alive and not scratching each other’s eyes out. On the second qualification rounds, Sakura is told to find a partner, but not even Naruto agrees to tag team with her. No one except for the highly suspicious and kinda creepy criminal puppet master, that is.)

SasoSaku Day, day 14: The Remains of War

In which edo Sasori refused to be sealed away by Kankuro for strange reasons, was dragged along with Deidara to the camp, and assigned to Sakura – in hopes that at least one of the Akatsuki will spill important intel. Sakura never could have guessed how increasingly terrible this task would turn out to be.

There were plenty of signs that she should have picked up on to know he would cause trouble. The fight between them, however brief, had been a way to see into him and his beliefs. For so long she had thought about what had happened and what he had said. The offer he made. So many late nights were spent awake pondering their battle and what it had changed to the both of them. 

Sakura had spent so much time thinking about what they had shared that she never thought he would be such an asshole.
