*Seeing Hop grin, Leon would also do the same. He was glad to see the smile back on his face. To be honest a frown didn’t suit him and so as his older brother he would do anything to prevent that from happening ever again.*

“That’s the spirit and I’m glad to hear that you’re happy with research, just know you can come to me if you need any help.”

“Everyone, there’s no exception to that Hop.”

*So that’s what was bothering him, Leon finally got it. However the male would smile and begin to speak again after having left a small pause from that first sentence.*

“If you like doing something then I believe you made the right choice. However if you ever start to doubt it always ask yourself is what you’re doing making you happy. If it is then I think you should keep going and if you’re not happy you can always change your goals again.

After all, if I’m being honest I thought I would find it boring running the league. At the beginning I only did it because we needed someone to take up the mantle after Rose’s incident. You know I would rather battle than sit behind the desk approving and disapproving proposals.

Still, it gave me a chance to see the other side of what the league does and I grew to understand the importance of that role. Learning that new skill made me happy as it lets me the new talent that will help Galar become the strongest region in the world. Ah, what I’m saying is this, don’t feel down as there will always be something new to try and even if your roads diverge from your friends you will never lose that bond. I hope that makes sense.”

“I’d have already left if I wasn’t certain and besides I agree with you. I had my own reasons for joining the army. I suppose I’ll just have to go about it another way.”

Vincent started coughing roughly and clutched at his sides. "Bazz I don't feel good."

*Bazz would get a chair and try to make Vincent sit down, he had no idea what had happened but knew standing was probably not the best idea.*

*It wasn’t like Yomi had set out to find detectives today, in truth the male had been overseeing another punishment and was on his way to buy a meat bun as a snack when he had noticed Yuma. Of course his previous obligation had been taken care of so now he was free to pursue the detective to no end.

Luckily for Yuma or rather unluckily for him in this case Yomi was alone, even his beloved right hand wasn’t with him currently so he wouldn’t have to waste time waiting for any of the other members of the peacekeepers to show up. Figuring that the other didn’t want any casualties decided to forego searching open spaces and look around the back streets.*

“You’re only making this harder on yourself you know.”

“I take it everything I say here is never going to leave this room. If that’s the case I’ll say it, I’ll do anything to help him out. Besides…staying in this army isn’t getting me closer to my own goal. So how are we going to do this?”

"You're saying... Everybody has things they regret?" It was hard to think of Leon regretting anything, he always looked so confident with everything he did. It was part of why Hop admired him so much.

He frowns, looking down.

"It's nothing really... It's just, sometimes I look at all my friends and wonder if I made the right choice. Victor's the new Champion, Marnie and Bede are Gym Leaders now... I'm the only one who chose a path that's not related to battling. I like helping Sonia with her research, but... Was it really the right choice? What if I regret it later?"
