wild to see people pressed about celine supposedly loving rumi.

sure, you can call that love, if you want. i guess, lol?

but it's certainly not the kind of love rumi needed. it's not the kind of love that saved her, her best friends, or created the rainbow honmoon.

rumi did that all on her own, with the support of mira and zoey, with the help of jinu's sacrifice. unconditional (self-)love was the love rumi needed.

i don't really think anyone wants to hold any character to a perfect standard in this fandom -- and if they did, woo boy, they're missing the ENTIRE point of the movie.

but like. some people should not be parents lol. some people should never have CHOSEN to be parents.

celine is not responsible for all the demons and their actions, but she's responsible for rumi's formation of her patterns -- for her lifelong trauma.

as a child, rumi didn't have any patterns. i don't have the screencaps on me at the moment but feel free to find it for me/verify for yourself. rumi developed those patterns over time, through the lies and shame, through the abuse that celine inflicted.

rumi was just a child. a parent's job is to improve over time and listen to a child's needs, not double down on treating them as a perfect doll to mold, dress up and cultivate.

idk it seems like some people are taking valid commentary on celine's character a little too personally...

Hello Good Day.

I was raiding your blog before falling asleep and I had a nightmare about Bald Micah with his dead fish eyes.

It started with us talking and While I know something was wrong with him. Alarms blaring in my head, for some reason my body was moving on their own. Being enthusiastic to him while being scared inside. Treating him like one would to an adorable fluffy thing but my body wasn't in my control. At some point he asked if it would be fine if he could intrude upon my home for a few days and while i was mentally screaming my mouth was agreeing.

I kid you not I genuinely was suffocating while asleep if not for my mom waking me up.

I wonder if this is because I wasn't too invested on him that he decided to scare me lol.

Also for some reason he was wearing a really fluffy hat while terrorizing me.

That's all. Thank you for listening to my ramblings.
