Im usually not that into dark/violent romances but the salesman really woke something up in me that your writing has satisfied EVERY part of and made me kind of crazy for more of the genre!!! hi hi oh my god the salesman series is fucking UNREAL and so incredibly well characterized for both reader and the salesman. It's not even funny how I'll be reading one of the freaky sex scenes and genuinely start feeling kind of tender-emotional because it's getting so obvious that they're both in love (and especially in an unhealthily codependent way yayyyy).

Anyways I had to drop in to say that there's this song that made me think about this series: "Where did you sleep last night?" covered by Ramsey (hopefully this link works). It has such an intense erotic-murderous-jealous vibe: "my girl, my girl / don't lie to me / tell me where did you sleep last night" and in one verse the singer is talking about the girl's husband, saying "his head was found in a driving wheel / but his body never was found" and I can imagine the salesman murdering a perceived rival even though reader barely even knows them. He just has to make sure him and the reader won't ever experience any... interruptions. This cover was originally featured for an American Psycho comic which I think makes this even more fitting :3.
