Basic Information

FACE/BODY CLAIM: Silas Weir Mitchell

NAME: Anthony 'Tony' Castle

AGE: 46

EYES: Dark brown

HAIR: Dark brown with a bit of peppering

HEIGHT: 6'3

PRIMARY OUTFIT: Unless he's at work (i.e. in his sheriff's uniform) he's got typical 'hunter' attire - boots, jeans, flannel shirts, hidden weapons, etc.

Personality

Tony is a friendly, easy-going guy on the surface, but the truth is he's not much of a people-person. He'd rather spend his time alone than out with others. He's not stand-offish about it or anything. He won't tell people to get lost - mostly because he's too polite - but he typically prefers his own company. There are a few exceptions - like Ronnie and Winston - but the people he's that comfortable with are few and far between.

Abilities & Weaknesses

Although Tony is technically only human, he's survived nearly 25 years as a hunter of supernatural creatures. He's what most would call 'well-seasoned.' What he lacks in physical prowess, he makes up for with quick thinking and years of hands-on knowledge.

Romance

In a woman Tony appreciates beauty, and might pay a genuine compliment here and there but only if he sincerely believes what he’s saying, and doesn't think it will come off as awkward or creepy. Given his job, however, he's not actively looking for anyone in his life, and (to be honest) the thought kind of scares him after what happened to his wife all those years ago.

Tony was happily married once, and hasn't ever really considered 'swinging for the other team,' so to speak. However, I see him as a bit ambiguous when it comes to his feelings towards men. He flatters easily and, despite being a small-town Texan, is likely to be intrigued regarding male advances rather than disapproving. Although he doesn’t actively look at men sexually or romantically, I think he could, given the time to get to know someone.

Where to Find Him

Tony lives and works (both professionally and as a hunter) in East Texas. So it wouldn't be uncommon to find him out on a hunt in the area. Or, because he's a marshal for Marion County, to have him run into your muse in a more 'normal' way. He doesn't often travel away from his 'home turf' for a hunt, but I imagine I could come up with a reason if it was needed to get our muses interacting. :)

Stuff That's Good to Know Before Starting a Thread

I am NOT fully caught up on the series - I’ve only seen through the end of Season 10, and I don’t know when I’ll get around to watching any more. TBH, I was more than a little disappointed with the first couple of episodes of Season 11, so… yeah.

I also do not have a photographic memory for the seasons I have seen, so if I make a mistake with something don’t be afraid to tell me. As long as you’re not rude about it, I promise to hear you out. ^_^

Basic Information

Being a shapeshifter, Ronnie’s appearance is relative. However, she doesn’t really like to shift… so this section is based on her “favorite” form.

FACE/BODY CLAIM: Zooey Deschanel

NAME: Veronica 'Ronnie' Brennan

AGE: 26

EYES: Light Grey

HAIR: Dark brown

HEIGHT: 5'2

PRIMARY OUTFIT: Comfy jeans and a comfy t-shirt is all Ronnie really needs (Usually the t-shirt is music-related.) She does have a necklace she wears on a regular basis - the pendant is the silver bullet that was originally intended to kill her - a constant reminder to stay under the radar. She can also (almost always) be found in a pair of combat boots; she especially likes those of the outrageous variety - like zebra stripes, for example.

Personality

Ronnie typically comes off as playful and friendly to most people. She's also a huge nerd of the pop culture variety and loves talking with other (willing) people about mutual favorite things. She the kind of person that always tries to remain up-beat, even when things might not be going so well. Ronnie looks for the positive in everything, and is definitely a 'glass half full' kind of gal. Perhaps a little too trusting (especially given her past) she considers anyone a friend until they give her a reason not to.

Romance

Ronnie is technically pansexual and panromantic although she doesn't really look at it that way. What she cares about is a person’s inner self and is far less concerned about what they look like on the outside. As a shifter, she knows better than anybody not to judge based on appearance alone.

Due to some issues in her past, Ronnie does not actively go looking for relationships; nor is she easily able to perceive potential relationships (even when it’s beating her over the head with a stick.)

Essentially, she will be your muse’s best friend…until your muse shows romantic interest in her. This sort of forces her to acknowledge the attraction that’s (typically) already there.

Note - this does not include casual flirting; it needs to be a serious declaration of romantic intent.

Verses

Main Verse:

Ronnie is a shapeshifter with a jaded past. She struggles with what she is and HATES shifting. In this verse, she travels around the country in her RV, doing her best to stay on the 'down low,' and trying to fight the genetic urge to create chaos. She typically controls this urge via a variety of hacking skills, and she uses her abilities to help people who need it.

'Connected' Verse

This verse is almost exactly like main verse. However it's built around Ronnie's relationships with a handful of characters written by other RPers. The main difference in this verse is that Ronnie shares a mental connection with the archangel, Gabriel, stemming from an encounter in a specific RP.

Essentially, it means if your muse has heavy ties to Gabriel’s past, Ronnie’s probably going to experience the sensation that she knows them…or she might actually have specific emotions that surface when your muse is around.

For example - if you’re muse is one of Gabe’s (aka Loki’s) kids, then there would be vague feelings of recognition. Also, regardless of the situation, she’d feel at ease with them…possibly a bit paternal…maybe slightly guilty, as well.

This DOES NOT have to be a prominent part of our roleplay - but it IS a part of the verse and for continuity’s sake will more than likely be mentioned, at least in passing, by my muse... even if it’s only in her head.

If you're an 'old-timer' with her, and you don't see something here that used to be a thing, then it's probably not anymore. However, it's okay to ask me about stuff. Because she's my oldest, it's also possible I've forgotten something, or that I've overlooked something. There's SO MUCH content on her original blog; it can be hard to sort through.

Basic Information

FACE/BODY CLAIM: Richard Speight, Jr.

AGE: Older than dirt. Literally.

EYES: Hazel

HAIR: Sandy brown; usually worn long and a bit shaggy

HEIGHT: 5'8

PRIMARY OUTFIT: Depends on the verse, but usually snarky t-shirts, jeans, and comfy sneakers for his main.

Personality

Gabriel is always quick with a joke and a laugh. He likes to see people happy and smiling, and likes it even more when he's the one who made it happen. In his main verse he usually comes off as carefree - at least on the surface. But let's be real, just because he doesn't remember his old life or the time spent in Purgatory doesn't mean the sensations of it don't bog him down sometimes. He just doesn't understand why. Regardless, he always does his best to hide it. No reason to push his personal burdens on to others, especially if it might hurt them.

Powers & Weaknesses

This will depend a lot on the verse we use. In Gabe's main verse his powers are a mere flicker of what they used to be. And he doesn't know he has them, so they're not really controllable most of the time.

In a regular Supernatural verse, Gabe's got all of the expected powers an archangel might.

Romance

Also verse-dependent. In his main verse Gabe has societal inhibitions because he thinks he's human. Mostly. So he goes about things the way most humans might. He teases and jokes, but there's not a lot of outright flirting unless interest is expressed.

In any verse where he knows who he is, the flirting will happen more readily and without as much of a filter. He'll generally stop if he perceives he's making someone truly uncomfortable, but if it's just annoying them (and he wants to annoy them) he'll probably just keep at it for kicks.

In just about any verse, Gabe won't turn down a proposition for sex or anything along those lines. He likes to have fun and if your muse is showing interest and he's interested, too, stuff will probably happen.

Main Verse:

This is the verse described in THIS POST. It's the default verse for all interactions. By ‘default’ I mean that this is where I’m going to assume things are happening UNLESS you request another verse in advance.

'Thanks for the Memories' Verse

This is exactly like the main verse BUT Gabe has all of his memories. He just pretends not to. He’s not very good at pretending - especially when people he knows show up… but he tries.

'You Look... Familiar' Verse

This is a branch off AU of the default verse and takes place after the episode ‘Meta Fiction’ in S09. In that ep, Metatron ‘borrows’ James to pull off his little story for Cas, afterwards leaving the man with the memories of a super realistic ‘dream’…and vague stirrings of ‘everything feels more wrong than it ever has before’. In this verse James leaves his job and goes looking for answers.

Canon Verse

This is for RPs that take place between S01 and S05. Gabe is Gabe. Not much more to it than that.

Purgatory Verse

For anyone who’s interested, I’m game for RPs revolving around the time Gabe actually spent in Purgatory. Themes here would be darker…probably involving gore and torture. This was not a great time for Gabe. At all.

'Before the Winchesters' Verse

Designed for historical blogs, but open to anyone. If you’ve ever had the urge for your muse to have a run-in with an all-powerful, snarky, sugar-loving, (sometimes) asshole, here’s your chance.

Human Verse

Gabe is human and always has been. He's just a normal guy, living a normal life. He works weird hours in his best friend's bakery and while life isn't bad, there are bound to be ways to make it better.

Velvet Avenue Verse

Currently a Private Verse

Gabe is an incredibly wealthy producer/director of pornographic movies. He bills the movies from Velvet Avenue Studios as being 'just like a Hallmark movie... but with porn.' He takes good care of his actors and his crew, while living a life of creativity and leisure. Sounds like heaven... but something's still missing from his life...

Janitor Verse

Currently a Private Verse

This is basically 'Thanks for the Memories,' but Gabe is working as a janitor at an indie radio studio... all in the hopes of getting close to the station's late-night DJ.

Stuff That's Good to Know Before Starting a Thread

Gabriel is a canon character from the Supernatural universe originally created by Eric Kripke. Some of what you’ll find here is canon to the TV show, however as I develop him I will have personal headcanons that are 100% mine. They may not mesh with your idea of Gabe, and that’s fine; everyone's allowed to have their own interpretation. :) However, if you send me hate about anything you will be ignored and blocked.

This blog has a timeline that (usually) picks up shortly after Cas releases all of the Leviathans onto the world. How far after can be plotted or chosen at random, I’m not too picky. If you want to roleplay with Gabe in a particular timeline or season it’s okay to ask. Chances are I won’t say no, I’m also game for all sorts of plotting and AUs.

Dean Winchester

Basic Information

FACE/BODY CLAIM: Jensen Ackles

AGE: Depends on Thread; between 26 - 39

EYES: Hazel

HAIR: Dark drown with occasional blond highlights; usually kept short and styled

HEIGHT: 6'1

PRIMARY OUTFIT: Jeans, t-shirt, logger boots, leather jacket - everything is a little worn, but not in terrible condition.

Personality

Dean is confident, snarky, and more of a 'pop culture nerd' than he's likely to ever admit. He will protect the people he cares about with his life and when it comes to anyone who might hurt his loved ones, he'll show no mercy.

Abilities

Dean had been a hunter for years; he's got good reflexes and is in peak physical condition. He's also got the face of an angel and a smile that could charm the pants off of just about anyone.

He's got a working knowledge of the supernatural world and the creatures that inhabit it. He doesn't know everything, of course, but he knows more than most.

Weaknesses

His biggest weakness is probably his family. Dean would literally do ANYTHING for them, even if it goes against everything else he's ever learned/believed. He reacts similarly to friends and other loved ones, but it's not quite so severe of an emotion.

Dean also has a bit of an anger problem. Usually he can keep it under control, but sometimes he'll snap and then say/do things that can't be taken back.

Romance

Where to start...? Dean is a flirt... whether your muse encourages him or not. He knows what he likes and he's not afraid to tell someone. He's not usually forceful or crass about it, and if someone tells him to stop he will.

It's also not hard to get him into bed... especially if your muse just wants a fling. However, if your muse wants something more, that could take time, work, and patience. After all, Dean doesn't ever stay in one place for long - rarely long enough for emotions to 'gum up the works.'

Where to Find Him

It might vary by verse, but usually anywhere you might find the supernatural. So - anywhere, really.

Verses

Main Verse:

Dean Winchester hunts the stuff that everyone else refuses to believe exists. If he doesn't do it, who will? Ghosts, vampires, demons - he's seen it all. Most of the time he's got his brother, Sam, by his side... and most of the time that's enough. But even someone like Dean can long for something more now and then.

For this verse everything is as canon as I can make it. I usually prefer Season 3, only because I love the angst of a Hell-bound Dean. However, I’m willing to work with whatever Season my partner might prefer. ^_^

Fantasy Verse

Dean is a hunter in a medieval-inspired fantasy world that leatherandsoil helped me build and create. His dad is gone and his brother is happily settled and married in a nearby town. Dean travels from place to place in his vardo, selling potions and taking care of things that the local villagers can't.

Mechanic Verse

Currently a Private Verse

In this verse Dean isn't a hunter; he's just a normal guy with a normal life that never quite seems to go his way. He jointly owns and works at a mechanic shop with his best friend, Paul. He's also so deeply in the closet that it's painful to watch.

Retired Verse

This verse takes place at the end of Season 8. Sam has died sealing the Gates to Hell, Crowley is fully human and reveals Mrs. Tran’s location - she and Kevin return to a normal life, Castiel and Naomi manage to stop Metatron, and all is right with the world… sort of. Dean finds himself alone. With Sam dead and Castiel busy with Heaven, the Hunter is left floundering. What happens next is entirely dependent upon the RP. I often use this verse to return Dean to Sonny and the boy’s home from Season 9 (because he seemed happy there) but I’m open to him winding up in other places, too.

Worthless Verse

This verse technically takes place in Season 2+, with some major changes, of course. John and Sam were both killed in the crash which occurred at the end of Season 1, and when Dean tries to bargain for their souls, he’s told by Azazel that he’s worthless/useless/etc. You name it and Azazel probably said it. Since then, Dean’s been on the very singular mission to find and kill Azazel. He’ll do other Hunts if they happen to find him, but they’re not priority. He’s also fallen hard into all of his most negative vices - conning and grifting, drinking heavily, getting into fights thanks to his smart mouth, and sleeping with anyone he can get into his bed.

AGE: Technically 120, but it’s complicated?

EYES: Piercing, bright blue

HAIR: Dark brown; cut short and close to his head; full, short beard

HEIGHT: 5'11

PRIMARY OUTFIT: Even in 2013 Benny somehow manages to dress like he just walked out of the 1920's. He's got a very basic style, lots of neutral colors, nothing that stands out... and he likes suspenders. ;) He's almost always wearing his signature cap, too, which you can see there at the top of this post.

Personality

Benny's a very straightforward sort of person. He's not really much for subtlety or beating around the bush. He's also got a bit of snark, but usually manages to deliver it without sounding cruel. Although that might depend on how he feels about the other person at the time. ;)

Romance

TRUST. If your muse doesn't have it, they won't be getting anything remotely romantic out of Benny. The building of that trust can happen quickly or slowly depending on the situation. Once your muse has it, something shippy could happen if that's something your muse is interested in. Benny tends to be a little 'teasing' with people regardless of how he feels about them, but once he's comfortable with your muse, it's possible he could become more intentionally 'flirty,' and things could progress from there.

Where to Find Him

This depends a lot on the verse we're using. In his main verse, he's on the road a lot, so there are all kinds of options depending on what sounds good - pitstop-type places, wooded areas, doing odd jobs, possibly even hitching. For ideas for other verses you're interested in, just ask and I'll happily throw a few ideas together. :)

Verses

Main Verse:

Born and raised in Carencro, Louisiana, Benny was turned into a vampire by his Sire in the mid 1920’s. Benny and his nest were ‘vampirates’ who would find private yachts heading for far away destinations, feed on the owners and then sink the boat to cover up their crimes. In the late 1950’s Benny found a yacht owned by a human woman named Andrea Kormos who he quickly fell in love with.

Benny never lied to her about what he was and, having found something he liked in humanity, he abandoned his nest and began feeding on donated blood rather than people. However, in 1963, Benny’s maker caught up with him and had him killed for his desertion. The last thing Benny saw was his Sire drinking from Andrea’s throat, before ‘waking up’ in Purgatory.

Fifty years later, Benny came across Dean Winchester in Purgatory. He made a deal - promising to help Dean get out of Purgatory in exchange for a ride out for himself. Dean agreed, and after escaping Purgatory, he resurrected Benny and the vampire began living a new life on Earth in 2013.

Castles and Crowns Verse:

Currently a private verse

This is a fantasy verse I've been building up with leatherandsoil. Several of our muses have lives here. :) In this world Benny is a half-orc with magical tattoos and a passion for cooking (with a dash of alchemy.) His adventuring days have left him a little jaded, but now he's looking to settle himself somewhere and break down as many misconceptions as he can about what people see when they look at him.

Fallout Verse

Vampires in Fallout?! I mean... stranger things have happened, right? I don't have a lot of headcanons for this verse, so the sky's the limit! Want to play with vampire Benny in post-Apocalyptic America? Just say the word. Fallout 4 and Fallout 76 are the stories I know best, but I'm open to muses from anywhere within the franchise.

S08 AU Verse

Let's be honest - most of my main verse RPs will probably turn into this VERY quickly because killing Benny off isn't something I'm interested in for obvious reasons. LOL! So this tag is reserved for alternate storylines that are pre-planned. For example, I have an RP where another muse is 'replacing' Andrea and we're building the story off of that idea. So, stuff like that.

PRIMARY OUTFIT: In his main verse, his clothes are well-mended, but obviously old and worn. Boots, jeans, shirt, jacket, hat, etc. - they all have a weathered look to them. But he still wears them well. ;)

In any modern verse he's a little more polished. It's the same style of clothes, but a lot less wear and tear to them. He prefers button up shirts when needing to look a little nicer, but mostly sticks to solid-colored t-shirts (that maybe cling just a little.)

Personality

Arthur is a hot mess in practically every verse, but it's worst in his main verse. His self-esteem has been chewed up, spit out, and left for dead. He knows he hasn't led the best life, sees himself as ugly and stupid, and will often go out of his way to tell people/remind them of that fact.

Although he tries to be a good person when he can, there are times when he feels like he doesn't have any choice. During those times he tends to be heart-achingly mean almost as a coping mechanism - to remind himself that this is who he 'really is' and to make sure everyone around him knows it, too.

In modern verses, while his self-esteem is still low, he doesn't voice it as often. There are also rarely situations where he feels like he's not allowed to be himself, so that occasional mean streak that crops up in his main verse, doesn't happen as often (if at all) in any modern verses.

Abilities & Weaknesses

Arthur is skilled in more things than he thinks he is, and one of his greatest assets is how quickly he learns new things and how easily he adapts to new situations. He could probably be described as a bit of a 'jack of all trades,' being good at a lot of different things, but excelling at none. He can hunt, fish, ride, shoot, and draw (pictures) - just to name a few things. If asked, he'll deny being good at any of those things... which leads us into his weaknesses.

Arthur is plagued with almost crippling levels of self doubt. He sees himself as lesser than just about everyone (unless he doesn't like them.) It's easy for him to find the good in those he likes/respects, but practically impossible for him to see those same things in himself. And if anyone points it out to him, he'll find excuses that make less of whatever he's done.

In his main verse, I would also consider Arthur's unwavering loyalty to be a fault. His inability to see/respond to the negatives regarding the people he cares about causes a lot of avoidable trouble down the line. And it's also tied to his self-doubt in a way. He basically doesn't see himself as smart enough (or worthy enough) to question the people he views as being 'better' than him.

Romance

Where to start... Arthur sees himself as old and ugly, so he's not going to be the type of person to flirt or proposition someone out of the blue. He doesn't understand how anyone could want him, and isn't interested in being shot down. That said, if he's being flirted with chances are he'll eventually respond (once he decides the other person is serious.) However, for a lot of reasons (especially in his Main verse) Arthur isn't looking beyond the 'here and now.' He expects one-night stands/brief trysts/etc. Part of this is simply the life he leads, but it also has to do with the fact that he can't imagine anyone wanting to spend their whole life with him. Convincing him that someone wants him for 'the long haul' will probably take a lot of dedication and hand-holding.

Where to Find Him

This depends pretty heavily on the verse we're using. In his Main verse it could be just about anywhere. Arthur does a lot of traveling/moving around, so he could be found in a small town or a big city, or even out in the middle of the woods/swamp. There's also the possibility of running into him on a train or a stagecoach, whether he's riding it (or robbing it.)

Right now both of his 'pre-planned' modern verses are private ones. However, if you wanted a modern verse, I'm open to discussing various 'meeting place' ideas depending on the kind of AU you're wanting. Just ask. :)

Stuff That's Good to Know Before Starting a Thread

I play Arthur as 'High Honor.' For those of you unfamiliar with the game, this means he's mostly a good guy who knows he's done wrong and is trying to turn things around... with mixed success. I'm not really interested in playing him with 'Low Honor,' even for an AU.

In regards to canon characters, I'm open to writing with anyone as long as you're open to doing some plotting/talking with me beforehand so we can figure out a good scenario.

As for shipping, I have a pretty open mind. My hardest 'no' is probably Hosea. (Ship what you want. Always. ♥ He's just not my personal cup of tea.) As for Dutch... I have mixed feelings. I think I would be open to something in a Modern verse, possibly? It would depend on the dynamics of their relationship. But Gameverse!Dutch feels far too manipulative and toxic for any kind of healthy relationship to be going on, and that's not something I'm really interested in exploring with Arthur. The man's been through a lot. He deserves better than that. LOL! ^_^; That said - I'd be open to someone helping Arthur get OUT OF a bad relationship with Dutch. So if that interests you, let me know. :)

Basic Information

FACE/BODY CLAIM: Scott Bakula

AGE: Technically 45 (but he’ll look the same as whoever he’s leaped into)

EYES: Green

HAIR: Light Brown with a small streak of grey right at the front

HEIGHT: 6'0

PRIMARY OUTFIT: Given that he’s always in someone else’s shoes (literally) he doesn’t really have his own style of dress anymore. However, if he did, it would probably be a little less than business casual. Basically - jeans, sneakers, and a casual dress shirt of some kind.

Personality

Sam is kind of your classical 'nerdy, nice guy.' Unlike a lot of stereotypical intellectuals, he's practically an empath, and the kind of person who will do whatever he can to help anyone in need. Sam can be a bit awkward in that 'nerd' kind of way that indicates he's used to people shutting him down before he really gets going. But if he realizes he's not going to be shut down, he usually relaxes into the situation/conversation.

Strengths

Sam is proficient in multiple martial arts such as Judo, Karate, Muay Thai, and Taekwondo. Mentally, Sam is a genius with an IQ of 267 and an eidetic memory. He has doctoral degrees in music, medicine, quantum physics, archaeology, ancient languages, chemistry, and astronomy - but not psychiatry or law. He also speaks six modern languages including English, Spanish, French, Russian, German, and Japanese - but not Italian or Hebrew. He knows four extinct languages, including Egyptian Hieroglyphics. He played piano at Carnegie Hall when he was 19. And finally, Sam has won a Nobel Prize for physics prompting TIME magazine to call him ‘the next Einstein.’

Weaknesses

Sam's physical abilities are exactly what you’d expect from a man his age, height, and weight - average, in other words. His mental limitations are actually tied to his leaping. Each leap creates temporary 'holes' in his memory. In the show it's regularly referred to as 'swiss cheese brain.'

Romance

Sam is a gentleman through and through. Just because he leaps into someone who’s with someone doesn’t mean he’s going to hop into bed with the person they’re married to, or dating, or whatever. In fact, he’ll generally go out of his way to make sure it doesn’t happen. He doesn’t feel right sleeping with someone under false pretenses.

However! If Sam has been in the same person’s body long enough to get to know the other person - if he’s begun to care about them - his own emotions often override everything else. Leaping is an incredibly lonely way to live, and (to be frank) he’s not going to ignore his own feelings for someone... regardless of false pretenses.

Gabriel Reyes

Basic Information

FACE/BODY CLAIM: Oscar Isaac (If Needed)

AGE: Depends on verse, but usually mid-to-late 50's

EYES: Dark Brown

HAIR: Dark Brown; slightly peppered with grey

HEIGHT: 6'1

PRIMARY OUTFIT: Depends on verse; need to know for a specific one? Just ask. :) However, regardless of verse, I can almost guarantee that he's mostly in black (with purple and/or red accents), and he usually has one or two accessories which feature skulls and/or calaveras.

Personality

In most verses Reyes has a very no-nonsense sort of attitude, especially around strangers. He's abrupt almost to the point of rudeness, while not intentionally trying to be rude. Get to know him well enough and you'll get a man who's relaxed, enjoys a good joke (so long as it's not at his expense), and likes to talk about everything from books to alcohol.

Powers & Weaknesses

This is also heavily dependent on the verse. However, in every verse I try to somehow write in Reyes' 'super soldier' status. So he always has better-than-average senses/reflexes/etc. I also headcanon that he physically ages more slowly than normal people.

Whether or not he has Reaper's fading/teleportation abilities is very verse-specific.

In most verses, his biggest weakness is his own anger. Sometimes he has trouble controlling it, and it can be hard for him to 'come back' from that quickly without someone to set him straight.

Romance

Once Reyes has decided he's interested, it becomes a little bit of a game. His idea of flirting is kind of all about 'let me show you all the reasons you should want me/think I'm worth having... without actually telling you I'm interested.' He doesn't play 'hard to get,' but prefers for the object of his interest to show interest first. That's not always the case, but it's a fairly typical pattern with him.

Once he's with someone, he enjoys playful banter and small displays of affection. He's also inclined towards mementos he can wear - an earring/ring/necklace, for example.

Where to Find Him

Another one that relies heavily on the verse. His main verse is in the AU world that's a part of a fan fic I'm working on. If you're interested in it, he can be found at the tattoo parlor he owns, or at the nearby gym, or the diner down the street, Route 66.

For other verses (including OW stuff) it's probably better if we just chat and figure something out together based off of what you're interested in. :)

Main Verse:

Reyes is an ex-con who served his time, did his parole, and is now running a successful tattoo parlor. He keeps to himself and pours everything into his work (and into nurturing his fellow artists at the shop.) Sometimes he wonders if his life could be more, but he's happy enough, and worries about stepping outside of his 'comfort zone.'

Four Horsemen Verse

Reyes is one of the Four Horsemen - Pestilence to be precise. This universe is based VERY loosely on the Incarnations of Immortality series by Piers Anthony. Basically, I borrowed what I wanted and made up the rest with the help of fidelismileslucem.

Space Opera Verse

Currently a Private Verse

This universe is set in something VERY akin to Cowboy Bebop. Reyes is a sci-fi bounty hunter who used to work on the 'right ' side of the law - until he got a heavy dose of the corruption plaguing the Space Force. Turning his back on his old life, he went 'rogue,' pleased to finally be able to deal out his own kind of justice.

Steam Fantasy Verse

I’ve used this verse with a lot of my muses (because it’s fun. ;P) Basically, it’s a world set in a Victorian-esque setting, only with a combo of magic and steampunk qualities thrown in. Supernatural creatures of all kinds live and walk freely among humans, and everyone (mostly) gets along.

While slavery of ANY kind has been outlawed in this world, that doesn’t stop there from being a black market surrounding it. This underground group (often referred to as the ‘Goblin Market’) consists almost solely of powerful supernaturals who defy the laws and continue to buy, sell, and trade living creatures. Sometimes these slaves are other supernaturals, sometimes they’re human - regardless, the government (for multiple reasons) refuses to acknowledge that the Goblin Market exists, so there’s a secret group which works, vigilante-style, to end the Market once and for all. They refer to themselves as Shades.

Unfortunately, the supernaturals involved in the Market are often old and powerful. They work from the shadows and have their hands in many aspects of law and government. This makes bringing any of them legally to justice almost impossible. But that doesn’t stop the Shades from trying (both in official and unofficial ways.)

Reyes is one of the oldest vampires in Great Britain, and a Shade. He has opened his home as a refuge for slaves who've managed to escape the Market. With money hardly being a concern, he offers food and lodging while helping to re-acclimate these former slaves to the world at large. When they're ready to leave, he helps them find a place to live and decent work. He is also on VERY good terms with the Queen, who considers him to be one of her closest confidants.

Cole Cassidy

Basic Information

FACE/BODY CLAIM: Josh Holloway (If Needed)

AGE: 36

EYES: Hazel

HAIR: Sandy Brown; long enough to pull back into a small ponytail at the base of his neck

HEIGHT: 6'1

PRIMARY OUTFIT: Cowboy casual? Is that a thing? ;D Jeans that have a little wear and tear, boots that have seen better days, t-shirts with stuff that makes him laugh (or smile), and sometimes a beat-up cowboy hat (when he's out and about.)

Personality

Cole is the type of guy who's laid back and friendly with just about everyone... until you give him a reason not to be. Because of his past and his current situation as a parolee (in most verses) he can't always throw a punch when he'd like to... but maybe that's for the best.

Powers & Weaknesses

In Cole's main verse he's just an average human leading an average life. His only real 'powers' come from his ability to mimic just about any art style for his job, and his major weakness is his desire to protect the people he cares about (even to his own detriment.)

Romance

Cole likes to flirt. He tries not to lay it on too heavy - especially if he's not sure the person he's flirting with is interested. However, if the other person shows interest, he'll lay things on a little thicker. Things could quickly lead to sex, depending on your muse. But it's typically just sex. For an actual relationship Cole needs time and trust.

Where to Find Him

This depends on the verse and what you're interested in. For my main verse Cole can be found a handful of different places:

A/B/O Verse

Almost exactly the same as Cole's main verse, except all of the typical conventions of an A/B/O universe apply. The only other difference is that Cole runs the tattoo parlor himself and lives above the shop. Gabe is sort of a silent partner. He and Jack are off traveling the world together. ;)

Fallout Verse

So… I’ve been playing at lot of Fallout 4 recently, and this is the result. There’s not really any canon Texas lore for the Fallout universe (I don’t think), so I really just made a bunch of stuff up. I call this made-up canon FALLOUT: LONESTAR, and it takes place around the same time as Fallout 4 - only in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas. There’s a group a lot like the Minutemen calling themselves the Texas Rangers, and they have bases scattered around Texas, but their main base is at the Alamo complex in San Antonio. Their Fort Worth base is located on Lake Worth in a building know locally as the ‘Lake Worth Castle.’

Aside from that, the ‘dangers’ of the area are about the same - Raiders, Super Mutants, Ferals, Deathclaws, etc.

So, Cole’s backstory in this verse: He started out in Texas as a kid. Just a normal settler family. But back then the Texas Rangers weren’t as well-formed and settlements got attacked a lot. Cole’s family was killed by Raiders when he was 8, and he did something foolhardy enough that it impressed their leader, so the Raiders took him in. I don’t think there was ever a moment Cole enjoyed being with them. But he wanted to survive, and did a lot of things he’s not proud of in order to make sure that happened.

It was nearly a decade later before he got a chance to get away. The raiders attacked a group of travelers… who turned out to be Texas Rangers. They weren’t prepared. Cole saw his chance and took it, switching sides mid-fight. Some in the group still wanted to kill him, but one of them - a man named Gabriel Reyes - argued against it, and Cole’s life was spared.

For the next few years, Cole stuck with the Rangers - defending settlements, working undercover, and trying to give kids a better life than what he’d had. But somewhere along the way, it all started to fall apart. The Rangers were still strong, but his team - his family - was crumbling from within. Rather than watch it happen, Cole left. He traveled by himself for awhile, eventually settling in the Fort Worth area, where a group of settlers had ‘gone back to their roots’ and setup a ‘Wild West’ variety show (Fallout style!) Cole joined up as the show’s sharpshooter and hasn’t looked back. (Well… not often, anyway.)

Sometimes he does think back to his days with the Rangers and the friends he made there, but he tries not to. The caps are good and he’s got new friends and he’s entertaining people. Is there really any more he needs out of life than that?

Four Horsemen Verse

Currently a Private Verse

Cole is one of the Four Horsemen - War to be precise. This universe is based VERY loosely on the Incarnations of Immortality series by Piers Anthony. Basically, I borrowed what I wanted and made up the rest with the help of piercedflora.

Gardener Verse

This is practically the same as my main verse. The only real difference is that Cole isn't working as a tattoo artist with Gabe as his boss. He lives in a more suburban area, in a room over a garage that he rents from a nice, elderly woman. They have an arrangement where he keeps her yard looking amazing, and in return he gets the room for a VERY reduced rate. Usually Cole is in-between jobs when threads in this verse begin.

Monster Hunter Verse

Cole Cassidy grew up on the streets - not only learning how to survive humanity… but also learning how to steer clear of everything that lurked in the shadows. Eventually, he made a life for himself alongside a handful of fellow ‘street rats.’ Calling themselves The Deadlock Gang, they were his friends and family all rolled into one. Together, they managed to survive… and almost be happy while doing it. Until the day their group got on the wrong side of a demi-god - a trickster who didn’t take too well to being tricked in kind. The trickster didn’t kill them - instead it destroyed what mattered most - their family, scattering the members of their little gang to every end of the world.

Cole was once again left to fend for himself - which was how he happened across one Gabriel Reyes*. Caught in the act of pick-pocketing, Reyes made a deal with Cole - travel with him or get turned over to the authorities. Reasonably, Cole chose travel - though he did make several (failed) attempts to slip away in the first few weeks. Reyes always caught him. Eventually Cole found himself wrapped up in the other man’s work - as a freelance monster hunter. He took to the life easily enough - after all, the shadow world was a familiar one - and Reyes taught him more than he ever thought he’d know.

Then everything changed again when a job went south… and left Gabriel Reyes a changed man. Literally. Cole tried to stick with his partner and friend at first. After all - not all monsters were bad; he’d learned that much in his time with Reyes. But Reyes’ personal struggles with his new life caused tension and discord, eventually leading the older man to just walk away one night. Cole hasn’t seen him since. But he still hunts, still takes on jobs. What else can he do? Sometimes Cole feels like survival is the only thing he’s ever really been good at, anyway.

Which is where Cole comes in. Cole Cassidy is a werewolf, and a former slave. He was rescued from that life by a vampire named Gabriel Reyes - a powerful Shade who’s working to destroy the Goblin Market from within. Cole quickly made himself an asset to the group, and occasionally has been known to ‘rejoin’ the slave ranks in order to gather intel. He doesn’t like it, but he’s good at it. And better him than someone else.

I’m open to exploring just about any aspect of this universe with someone as long as we do a bit of plotting first. Some bits are fleshed out more than others in my head, but that’s what RPs are for, right? :)

If it's not apparent yet, this is a VERY AU version of Cole Cassidy. I can do an Overwatch verse it that's what you really want, but you need to tell me before we start, so we can do a bit of plotting. Thank you! :)

This AU version of Cassidy is also part of a fic I’m writing over on AO3. That way it doesn’t look like I’m stealing or anything. LOL! I decided I wanted to try a hand at RPing the character, but there are SO MANY amazing Cassidy’s out there already. So by making my AU fic my main verse, I feel more able to offer something new (while maybe fueling my drive to work on the fic in the process.) It’s at 11 chapters and over 50,000 words and still being written right now. But the story is about 95% all planned out in my head, so hopefully I can keep on track with it.

The fic itself is set in New York, but for ease of RPing, I’m happy to have Cole’s ‘home base’ be in any major U.S. city that’s convenient for your muse. Small towns don’t work as well due to certain headcanons, but if you’re interested in that (or would prefer it) for our RP, it’s okay to ask and we can try to work something out.

Typhon Ilios

Basic Information

FACE/BODY CLAIM: Jake Hold

AGE: OLD; Born in 8000 BCE

EYES: Bright blue

HAIR: Bright red-orange

HEIGHT: 6'1

DRAGON FORM STATS:

HEIGHT: 45 ft tall; 65 ft long; 75 ft wingspan

EYES: Bright red

SCALES: Golden, but with a sparkle to them... a bit like glitter

PRIMARY OUTFIT: Lots of black and leather with metallic accents - usually gold. Enjoys what he considers to be 'tasteful' jewelry, and will often wear earrings/rings/necklaces/etc. but not all at once. Usually it's just a select piece here and there.

Personality

On the surface Typhon is charming, indifferent, and self-centered (and he's not ashamed of it, either.) It's the only 'side' of himself he allows most people to see. In fact, if he finds himself feeling the urge to reveal anything more, he generally starts to push away from the person in question. To care for others is to be vulnerable and Ty doesn't like the idea of feeling like that ever again.

Where to Find Him

Any place expensive. 3-star Michelin restaurants, clubs that only let in the VIPs, that sort of thing.

Ty occasionally enjoys 'slumming it.' He'll pick a dive bar at random and see what happens.

Doing extreme sports - especially ANYTHING that involves heights. For example: skydiving, mountain climbing, hang gliding, bungee jumping, etc.

Typhon's main verse can actually be explored in this bio post. It seems silly to re-type it all here. ^_^;

Pirate Verse:

Set in the golden age of piracy, the main twist to this verse is that the supernatural exists alongside humanity. Most are accepting of each other, but often supernaturals still find it easier to seek out and live with their own kind. Typhon typically begins this verse as the captain of a pirate ship with a crew made up almost entirely of supernatural creatures. (You can also expect more of my muses to appear as members of the crew.)

This isn't currently an active verse. however, I've made a post about what a verse like this might be like with Ty, which you can read here. A word of warning, this post is VERY NSFW.

Fallout Verse:

When he first entertained the idea of purchasing a private vault it was more for a lark than anything else. They were the ‘in’ thing, after all, and Typhon was always on the cutting edge. Besides, he figured it would be a novel place to host parties and the like. Granted, he didn’t fully trust Vault-Tec. But he’d done his research; the quality of their vaults couldn’t be beat, and he wanted the best. However, by the time the vault was done, things in the world had changed. Humanity was on the brink; he could sense it. The dragon had seen similar downfalls before, and when the vault was done he began to make real plans.

His hoards were quickly moved into the vast facility, and he began inviting certain people to join him when the time came. The dragon didn’t form attachments easily - he never had - but there were always particular people he enjoyed having around. So it seemed reasonable to bring them along for the ride. Besides which, he didn’t relish the idea of being alone for gods knew how long, buried underground with only Rob-Co’s robots to keep him company.

Life in his vault was normal, at first. Well… normal for him. A 24/7 party of alcohol, drugs, and sex. But then an overdose almost killed his favorite partner, and the ensuing panic of losing the human made him realize they couldn’t keep this up forever. This wasn’t a year-long party. This was their life now. They had to start living them. Or rather, the humans did. Gradually, as months became years, they begin to break off into units - there was talk of having children. Food supplies were vast, so the dragon saw no reason not to encourage propagation. He himself held back, having no desire to explain his origins yet, and no wish to bring any human/dragon half-breeds into the world. Ty settled for a male he was fond of… and who seemed to return those feelings. And life became… abnormal. Which wasn’t as bad as he’d feared.

Eventually, of course, the others began to notice he didn’t age, and the time finally came when he had no choice but to reveal his true nature. Not everyone reacted favorably. Some demanded he let them leave. That wasn’t something anyone had ever even contemplated before. At first, Ty considered refusing, but it was his lover who convinced him not to turn the vault into a prison. So, he let them go. Some eventually came back, scared and scarred. Others didn’t. He tried not to think about why. And the years passed. The people he’d invited in began to grow old and die, leaving their children and grandchildren as legacies in their place. Ty found himself taking on a role he never thought he’d have… becoming a ‘father-figure’ to his self-made community. Once, the dragon would’ve rejected the very idea, but he welcomed the chance to help the progeny of those he’d cared about enough to save.

And more years passed.

Because he made no attempt to stop people from leaving the vault, numbers dwindled. Too many who wanted to see what the world outside had to offer. Too many who never came back. The dragon wasn’t sure when exactly it happened, but one day he realized he was alone. Those who he’d thought might return, never had. In fact, he realized it’d been over a year since he’d had visitors. Granted, his vault was situated in the middle of nowhere, far in the American North, surrounded by tall trees and wide mountains. It wasn’t meant to be found by those who didn’t know it existed. And maybe no one did anymore.

Ty is very heavily tattooed. It doesn't cover EVERY inch of skin, but it's pretty extensive. All of the tattoos are different kinds of dragons, or have to do with dragons in some way or another.

Like many of my muses, Ty's home can move around (within reason.) He owns a high-rise condo on the ocean. Yes - the entire building (and the land it sits on) belongs to him. As long as he's got ocean and sky top look at, he's happy. Anything else, and we'll need to plot a bit. :)

Basic Information

FACE/BODY CLAIM: Richard Armitage

AGE: Timeless

EYES: Dark brown

HAIR: Dark Brown; wavy, and hangs a little past his shoulders

HEIGHT: 6'2

PRIMARY OUTFIT: It depends on the time period, but Owain always prefers to look casually fashionable. Due to his situation, he doesn't have a lot of control over that, but when his choices/preferences are taken into consideration, he'll almost always look like he just stepped away from a 'men's fashion' photoshoot.

Personality

Owain is... complicated. And how he acts can be a bit dependent on WHERE in his timeline your muse happens to come across him. Generally speaking, he's a privileged royal (and usually acts it.) In other words, he typically believes that his status and his magic make him 'better' than most people. However, that belief doesn't stop him from treating others with care and respect.

This attitude is less apparent the longer it's been since he was cursed by Gwyn. Each master of the bottle wears him down a little more. Some of the attitude is still there, but usually he's just grateful to have a master who doesn't want to abuse the powers owning his bottle grants them.

If your muse was ever unlucky enough to be the first person to open Owain's bottle, they'd be in for a bit of a ride. Everything that happened to him and his servants and his home is still perfectly fresh. On top of that, his powers aren't being dampened by his castle anymore, so everything he does has more force behind it than he intends.

Powers & Weaknesses

Like his twin brother, Gwyn, Owain has all of the typical powers and weaknesses of fae royalty. He's a powerful creature whose magic makes him capable of doing countless things - summoning objects from nothing, controlling the weather, moving things with a mere gesture, altering his appearance with a simple thought. The list goes on.

However, the fact that he's been cursed changes things a little. He's not allowed to use his magic unless given permission to do so by his current master. And if ordered to do something with his magic, Owain has no choice but to comply regardless of whether he wants to or not.

The curse also binds Owain to his master's will. If they give an order - ANY order - he has to follow it. The longer he tries to not follow an order, the more pain he feels.

Owain also has all of the weaknesses of a typical fae (such as iron.) He usually won't mention those weaknesses unless specifically asked by his master... or it he thinks it might stop his master from giving an order that would do Owain harm.

Romance

Owain's situation is a little unique. Romance isn't something he really thinks is possible for him, not while he's cursed. On top of that, the last person he loved was raped, tortured, and murdered while he was forced to watch, so attachments make him wary.

Sex, on the other hand, is usually welcome if he finds the other person attractive. Keep in mind, sex with a master can be a teeny bit tricky. Owain is cursed to obey any order given, so if his master doesn't word things carefully/watch their phrasing, it could make things uncomfortable. Not every master who's owned Owain has cared, of course, but even the ones who do can make mistakes sometimes.

Where to Find Him

If you find his bottle, you find him. So basically, just about anywhere - on the beach, at an estate sale, in an antique shop, etc. If you have an idea for something, let me know and we can plot.

Verses

Main Verse:

Owain is basically a genie in a bottle... only without the three wish limit and without the ability to say 'no' to whoever owns him. Opening his bottle releases Owain and magically binds him to whoever opened it. If his master dies, Owain goes back into the bottle until someone new opens it. However, his master can also choose to give the bottle away (but that rarely happens.)

Oberon

Basic Information

FACE/BODY CLAIM: David Bowie

NAME: Oberon, King of Hollow Earth

AGE: Older than most, younger than some (Appears to be anywhere from mid to late 30s)

EYES: Light Blue

HAIR: Sandy blond; short and loosely styled

HEIGHT: 5'10

PRIMARY OUTFIT: Natural fibers are a must, anything else usually causes his skin to break out. He enjoys light airy clothes that have a bit of flow to them

NOTE: Oberon’s appearance (not his facial features) have a tendency to… alter. For example, out of the corner of your eye, you might see him with long hair even though it’s short, or flowing robes, even though he has on a mere shirt and pants, or clean-shaven when he actually has a bit of scruff. This is all part of the faerie glamour. This will never happen when looking at him straight on, and it’s fast enough that most people simply think they’re imagining things.

Personality

Oberon is a gentleman through and through - polite, but firm in all things. There's an aura of sadness that hangs over him, and anyone perceptive enough will likely pick up on that. He doesn't hide who he used to be, but he dislikes being called 'king' or 'your majesty' or 'your highness' or anything along those lines, and he'll correct anyone who uses those terms. He does still maintain a bit of his royal haughtiness, but he never looks down on others, and is always willing to be of help when he can.

Powers

Faerie glamour - essentially this is the ability to create illusions that look and feel real, but have no real substance and can cause no physical harm. However it could cause potential mental harm, which could then lead to physical harm.

Teleportation - this can take a lot out of him, so he only does it when absolutely necessary.

Invisibility - the longer he stays invisible the more it weakens him.

Shifting appearance - a bit difficult to explain, but Oberon has many appearances usually he can control which one people see, but sometimes one of his other faces will…slip…through.

Animal Shifting - Oberon has a small handful of forms he can shift into, but they can require a good deal of power, so he doesn't often attempt it.

To a degree, he will be able to sense what you are - i.e. human, angel, demon, faerie, vampire, alien, werewolf, etc. However if you are a spelled creature, he will only know that you’ve been affected by magic, not specifically what you are or what you used to be.

He can feed off of the different kinds of magic within others to make himself stronger, but it must be via skin-to-skin contact. Obviously, the more skin involved, the faster the feeding process occurs.

Herbal Healing - Much like any witch, he can use herbs, animal parts, etc. to create a variety of healing spells.

Weaknesses

Simply by being in the Upper Realm Oberon’s magic has weakened. Most of the time he doesn’t even bother using it, because replenishing it isn’t easy. Not only can iron burn him - he is also weakened merely by being in its presence.

It is also severely painful to hear anything being struck against iron; iron on iron is excruciating.

While not as obviously OCD as his subjects when it comes to salt, sugar, rice, etc., it still compels him and ignoring that compulsion gives him awful headaches.

His True Name - this is something he has never shared with another - not even his beloved wife, so while technically a weakness, there is no one who can use it against him.

Certain types of wood can disrupt his faerie glamours - things made of ash, rowan, or witch hazel, for example.

Romance

Although the king was known for his romantic conquests in the past, things have changed. Not only does he still grieve for the loss of his wife, Titania, but for all of his friends and loved ones within the Court. Effort will be needed to open his heart again.

If you RP as Titania: Oberon loves his wife, but he isn't IN love with her. The Shakespearian days of butting heads are long past them, and they've settled into an amicable companionship. They are more than friends, but less than lovers. Be aware, that this is how my Oberon will react to any Titanias that enter his life.

If you RP as Puck/Robin Goodfellow: Oberon loved Puck dearly and at the time of Hollow Earth's fall they were lovers. Be aware that (without any pre-discussion) any Pucks Oberon meets will be greeted with tentative love and affection (while Oberon tries to ascertain where he stands with his one-time friend and lover.)

Where to Find Him

This depends a little on the verse/timeline we're writing in, but generally speaking Oberon can be found in wooded areas and green spaces. The further from human civilization, the better. His current home is a large cabin in the Smoky Mountain National Park.

Verses

Main Verse:

Most of my RPs branch off from this verse. Oberon has spent much of his life ruling over the faerie realm known as Hollow Earth. Shortly after the beginning of the Industrial Revolution he sealed off all entrances/exits to this world because he deemed the human world too dangerous for his people.

However, he unexpectedly awoke in the Upper Realms (Earth) and has very little memory of how he got there. What he does remember is an attack of some kind, and he suspects that his wife and possibly all of his people, may be dead. Unfortunately, every attempt he's made to get home has been thwarted by magical barriers he can't break through.

Although he's still searching for answers, he's also managed to settle himself in a quiet part of the Smoky Mountain National Park. These days he's practically a hermit, living his days in a grand cabin that's a little too big for one, and spending his free time reading, gardening, and exploring the vast forest around him.

Before the Fall Verse

This is any thread which takes place before Hollow Earth fell. I'm open to a variety of stories and ideas in regards to this verse, so if you have something, hit me up.

Human Verse

In this verse I usually have Oberon as a well-known and highly successful architect. But honestly, I'm open to just about any interpretation of him for a Human!AU, so don't be afraid to ask for something else instead.

Pirate Verse

This isn't so much a verse as it is an AU I can offer for anyone who's interested. You get Oberon as a pirate - human or fae is up to you. ^_^

Victorian Steampunk Verse

This verse is actually a private one for the time being, but I wanted to acknowledge it here.

My version of Oberon (and his faerie brethren) is a mixture of Shakespeare, mythology, and my own personal headcanons. Because he's not from any specific universe, if you would like him and your muse to have met previously, please contact me first for a bit of pre-meeting discussion. If there’s no discussion - Oberon will most likely fail to remember your muse - he is VERY old, after all, and has met a LOT of people over the centuries.

Oberon does NOT do well in urban settings, please be aware that writing a starter that puts him in a human city is essentially like crippling him. Plus, it forces me to try and come up with a clever, creative reason for him to be there (and I'm not always in the mood to do that.) In other words, please talk to me about it before doing it or you might not get a reply.

I don't have any 'set in stone' headcanons for what happened to Hollow Earth. I left it intentionally vague so that if my partner wanted to explore that plot point, it could be different/unique with every partner who was interested.

And finally - for any Jareths in the audience - I actually have a headcanon that he and Oberon are estranged twin brothers. If you're interested in exploring that idea with me, say the word. If not, but you'd still like to RP, let me know and we'll do some plotting. :)

Basic Information

FACE/BODY CLAIM: Richard Armitage

AGE: Timeless

EYES: Black

HAIR: Black, wavy, and usually hanging loose almost down to his shoulders.

HEIGHT: 6'2

PRIMARY OUTFIT: It's usually black and it's usually leather. Gwyn is a king and prefers to dress the part. His clothes always look hand-tailored and have a subtle elaborateness to them - obviously expensive without being gaudy.

Personality

In three words - ruthless, cruel, and clever. Gwyn is one of the faeries the old tales warn about. He cares for nothing and no one beyond himself. Any indication of otherwise is merely a tool to get what he wants. And he ALWAYS gets what he wants.

Powers & Weaknesses

Gwyn is probably one of my most powerful muses. His magic makes him capable of doing countless things - summoning objects from nothing, controlling the weather, moving things with a mere gesture, altering his appearance with a simple thought. The list goes on.

He has the weaknesses of a typical fae (such as iron) but has gone to great lengths to protect himself from them. When assassinations are something he deals with on an almost daily basis, he has to be prepared for anything.

Romance

Romance isn't going to happen with Gwyn. Sex, maybe - but this isn't a person who's capable of 'falling in love.' The most you might be able to hope for is mutual respect... but that's almost just as impossible.

Where to Find Him

Gywn doesn't care for the human world. If your muse finds him, it will likely be by accident (unless he has a reason to be looking for your muse.) He also rarely leaves Wales. So, the best place to happen across him is in the wilds and woods of his homeland.

Verses

Main Verse:

I have a lot of verses where Gwyn plays the villain to Gelert's hero. So any verse that exists for Gelert, will likely exist for Gwyn, too, in some way or another.

Gelert

Basic Information

FACE/BODY CLAIM: Paul Bettany

NAME: Gelert (aka Leo/Leolin Kellarth)

AGE: Depends on the verse, but Gelert generally appears to be anywhere from his mid-20s to mid-30s, depending on the amount of scruff and quality of dress.

EYES: Light aqua

HAIR: Strawberry blond, although in some lighting it will look lighter. Usually has a naturally disheveled look to it.

HEIGHT: 6'3

DOG FORM STATS:

HEIGHT: 3’ (Over 7’ when standing on hind legs)

EYES: Orange-yellow

HAIR: Brindle (Brown, but peppered profusely with black, white, and grey) The nature of his hair’s appearance depends on how recently he’s transformed or how recently someone has had him groomed.

PRIMARY OUTFIT: Casual, a bit baggier than necessary. He doesn’t really care for the feel of clothes that press tight up against his skin. It’s also better for when he has to transform with clothes on… although he tries not to do that.

Personality

Although it shouldn’t need to be said, Gelert is a friend for life. His loyalty and faithfulness are unparalleled. Even to strangers (despite everything he's been through) he’s friendly and trusting and typically has an attitude that exudes this sense of, "You can trust me; I’m not going to cause any harm." He also has a very self-sacrificing nature, and will almost always step in when he sees someone being (or about to be) hurt.

Romance

Gelert tends to be a bit of a flirt. It does not mean he wants to hop in the sack with your muse… although if there’s mutual interest, then he might. He’s certainly not above one-night stands. If your muse doesn’t like the flirting and/or it makes them uncomfortable, all they (and you) have to do is ask him to back off and he will. The playful, flirty nature is just part of who he is, but he doesn’t like to upset people. In fact, if he even suspects flirting might make the situation awkward in some way, he’s more likely to be a gentleman and hold his tongue. For more information, please read this post.

Where to Find Him

By the nature of his curse, Gelert is a traveler. He was also born in the 13th century, so time and location don’t need to be considered too much when going into an RP with him - unless it’s not Earth, and then we might need to talk for a bit before beginning. ^_^

Verses

Main Verse:

Gelert's main verse is typically set in the normal 'present day,' and if you send any asks, etc. (unless we already have an established verse via RP) this is the verse I'll reply with. Magic and the supernatural exist, and he's living a literally cursed existence.

Fallout Lonestar Verse

Currently a Private Verse

The year is 2287 and the place is what remains of the DFW area in the U.S. state formerly known as Texas. Gelert and his husband Tim Kelly run a 'finders' business based out of the largest settlement in the area. They're known as the guys who can do what others can't. If you want something found, they're the ones for the job.

Fantasy Pirate Verse

Set in the golden age of piracy, the main twist to this verse is that the supernatural exists alongside humanity. Most are accepting of each other, but often supernaturals still find it easier to seek out and live with their own kind. Gelert usually begins this verse as a slave on a notorious pirate ship and/or as a recent escapee from said ship.

Steam Fantasy Verse

Gelert's role in this verse can vary depending on the muse you'd like to use and the story you'd like to create for them. Usually he's a slave in someone's household, and resigned to that fact.

Finn Ilios

Basic Information

FACE/BODY CLAIM: Amy Adams

AGE: Very Old; born in 8000 BCE - probably during the summer months

EYES: A blue so pale it's almost disconcerting

HAIR: Bright Orange; she usually wears it long and loose down her back

HEIGHT: 5'4

PRIMARY OUTFIT: She loves a variety of styles, but the themes tend to stay the same: lots of warm colors - red, orange, gold, yellow - with a splash of shine, sparkle, or glitter as accents

Personality

On the outside Finn had a very bubbly, friendly demeanor - it’s not all that she is, but it does play a large part. This is what often gives others the impression that she’s naïve or simple-minded. It’s not a façade, per say, it’s just how she chooses to be - to always see the happiness and good in things. She knows there’s bad and evil in the world, but she doesn’t want to give it power by acknowledging its existence. Like all dragons, she has a wisdom that isn’t often matched (even by Apollo) and if someone managed to make her angry it would come in a sharp burst of intensity - the kind where she wouldn’t realize or regret what she’d said or done until she’d had a chance to calm down.

Romance

Finn isn’t an overly sexual creature, despite how one might be mislead by her physical appearance and overly-friendly personality. She’s not immediately going to hit on someone she finds attractive, although she will openly and honestly compliment them. But Finn doesn’t see it as the same thing - she’s just being honest - not flirty. However, she appreciates sex as an act that creates pleasure for both partners, and is rarely offended or put-off when someone expresses an interest in her. Finn also doesn’t see any reason why two people need to be ‘in love’ to take part in such things, so if she were propositioned, she wouldn’t be likely to say no if the one suggesting it was someone she found physically attractive. There might be other things which would factor in that might lead her to say no (like a really terrible personality) but in general, she won’t.

Where to Find Her

Finn is one of those people that can be found just about anywhere, so in regards to picking a place to start an RP, I'm pretty flexible. Here are some generic ideas:

Apollo was the love of her life - her mate; there won't ever be anyone who comes close to him. However, that doesn't mean Finn isn't capable of caring/loving someone new. It won't be the same for her, but she can still show affection for someone given enough time and trust.

Basic Information

FACE/BODY CLAIM: Colin Farrell

AGE: Born around 750 CE, his human appearance looks to be in the mid to late 30's

EYES: So dark brown they're almost black

HAIR: Dark brown, but peppered with gray; his hair is almost shoulder length and always manages to look 'ruffled'; he also usually has a goatee

HEIGHT: 5'10

PRIMARY OUTFIT: One word --> 'Class' - Cath always looks his best and is always in name brand items. Think high-class business casual. He also likes jewelry, so he's never without a ring or two, a necklace, and a pair of tasteful earrings.

Personality

Cath is a lot like the perception people have of cats - aloof, charismatic, and more than a little sly - the kind of person who you might feel is always trying to ‘pull one over on you’ even if he’s not. He's got a silver tongue, and chances are your muse won't be sure at first if he's charmingly harmless, or coolly dangerous. He likes attention... sometimes. But other times he'd prefer to just be left alone. He's also a bit fickle with his wants, generally making himself hard to read. Although very much a ‘what’s in it for me’ kind of guy, Cath does have his own set of morals. Certain things might convince him to take on a charity case… but good luck figuring out what those things are.

Abilities

Transformation - Cath can transform into a cat… but not just ANY cat. He can transform into ALL of them. He’s always a shade of black so dark he looks like shadows, but if you pick a cat (living or extinct) he can shift into it.

Magic - As Morgan le Fey was dying she transferred the last of her power into an amulet which Cath now wears around his neck. He can sometimes tap into it and use her powers for his own, but he doesn’t do it on a regular basis. As a familiar, he also has his own magic which he uses for doing small things like lighting fires or calling small objects to him.

Smooth-talker - Cath is very good at convincing people of things when he feels like doing so. It’s a little like a jedi mind trick - people can and do still say no… but usually only if they have a very good reason to keep their minds from straying.

Weaknesses

Witches - While he’d be loathe to admit it, Cath IS a familiar at heart. As much as he might not WANT a new witch, that doesn’t mean he’s not drawn to them (male or female); it’s in his nature. The battle for him is a powerful one, but he’s aided somewhat by Morgan’s amulet.

Romance

Cath likes to have fun. If your muse does, too, and he likes what he sees, that’s really all it takes to get him into bed. An actual relationship takes a little more time and a LOT more trust, but it’s possible. He’s not someone to press if it seems like his advances aren’t wanted. If your muse tells him to back off he will with no hard feelings, but if they goad him, they might be in for a night (or day) they'll never forget.

Where to Find Him

Cath hunts out the desperate - the people with nowhere left to turn. So, really, he can be found almost anywhere. He sniffs them out and then tries to make a deal. You won’t have to sell him your soul - he’s not a demon, after all - but you might find his ‘prices’ to be… unconventional.

Verses

Main Verse:

Once upon a time (in a kingdom not so far away) Cath was the favored familiar of one Morgan le Fey. Some of the stories about him are true… some aren’t. But you won’t get him to tell you which ones. He served his mistress faithfully and willingly for many centuries. However, now that her death has freed him of those bonds, he has no desire to aid another magic-user in her stead. She was his as equally as he was hers, and Cath can’t see anyone ever replacing her. These days he works freelance - using his magic to work the Black Market to his advantage. If you need it, Cath can get it for you. If the price is right.

Basic Information

FACE/BODY CLAIM: Jennifer Connelly

AGE: (Depends on Verse) Typically 28

EYES: Green-Grey

HAIR: Dark Brown

HEIGHT: 5'7

PRIMARY OUTFIT: Sarah's style is uniquely her own - an odd combo of casual, vintage, boho-chic, and girly-girl. She likes flowy materials, embroidered fabrics, sparkles and comfy jeans. At any given moment she can be found wearing any combo of these styles, and somehow they always seem to work well together.

Personality

This version of Sarah - much like her 16-year-old counterpart from the movie - is outspoken, imaginative, and kind. She's also become much more outgoing in the last 12 years thanks to all of her fans (and her travels.) However, she still tends to keep to herself in her private life. She has an insatiable curiosity about everything And doesn't like being left with unanswered questions.

Powers & Weaknesses

In her main verse Sarah is just your average human who happened to fall into some place special for awhile. There's nothing overly remarkable about her, but also nothing overly unremarkable either. Her greatest abilities are her writing and her imagination. While her greatest weakness (at the moment) is probably her attachment to Toby. Despite their current situation, her brother still means the world to her, and she would do anything to keep him happy and safe.

Romance

Sarah... doesn't really think she's got the time for romance these days. (And it has absolutely nothing to to with memories of a particular Goblin King! Probably.) Seriously, though - she'd not opposed to the idea of romance, but she doesn't go out looking for it. She keeps to herself (except when she's out on a book tour) so there's not a lot of time to meet people. And when she's not touring she's either writing or helping out with Toby. She considers her schedule to be 'booked,' but if the right person were to come along she might manage to change her mind.

Where to Find Her

Sarah tends to be a bit of a 'homebody,' however there are a few opportunities for her to meet others.

While traveling - Sarah does a lot of traveling all over the world; sometimes for research, and other times for book tours, conferences, etc.

At a park/botanical garden - Sarah loves green spaces; she can't get enough of them. She can often be found wandering, usually when she needs a writing break and/or she's got writers block.

At a coffee shop/library - Sarah usually prefers to write at home, but there are a handful of scenarios that might force her out of her house to do her writing, and these are places she'd typically go instead.
