This is my new text post blog bc my other tumblr has basically turned into a plant blog. And I want to shit post without ruining my aesthetic.

Now I can’t think of any of the things I wanted to say.

you try so hard to not be cliche that you end up losing who you are. the fog fades from the glass and you see everything that you never wanted to be staring back at you. confused, you blink. you blink again. it doesn't change. you see, my friend, when you grow up and the paint dries and maintenance finally replaces the light in your refrigerator that went out weeks ago. that's when you forget to remember everything that you know. you're not who you always thought that you'd be. kept the secret, locked your mouth, and threw away the key.

and dear, i'm afraid that you'll overlook- the air gets thinner the higher you go up above sea level. always plan to plan accordingly because that's how we'll forge our destiny by forgetting about everything that was supposedly 'meant to be'. it's safe to close your eyes and fall back if you trust me.
