The worst star trek episodes are the ones where a main character gets a ride-or-die love interest out of nowhere and all their characterization and ambition go out the window for this random person until the end of the 45 minute episode where they're tragically separated, but the next episode everything is back to normal and it turns out nobody cared and the love interest will never be mentioned again.

It sucks so bad every time.

First drawing in WEEKS. Also yes... I've been watching DS9 again. I just wish they did more with Serilians, other than the single weird ass Tiron (played by the magnificent Jeffrey Combs). I find them neat looking so I wanted to fiddle-faddle around with characters.

Tonight I overheard my husband telling our son that monsters aren't scary and they were just misunderstood creatures and how many animals were once considered monsters before being understood. Now they're in his room describing regular animals in scary ways, trying to guess them instead of going to bed and my god I love them both so much <3
