[ You would think after long periods of rest and sleep would help clear your mind of troubles and worries. Once you woke up, everything would be alright and whatever was on your mind, prior to your slumber, would have disappeared, right? That's what Kotone thought, anyway. Except this time, she realised that something wasn't right. With the circus. Sure it wasn't completely fine in the beginning, but now what was a borderline comforting atmosphere, had completely changed into one that struck a terrible sense of fear inside her chest. The climate had changed; even September wasn't this cold. The air was icy and nipped at the trainer's nose and ears irritably. She shivered. The sky was a dreary grey, and the clouds hung above thickly, resembling thick puffs of smoke. The surrounding haze didn't help either. It all looked like something out of a horror film, and Kotone was the unlucky hero who would inevitably die. ]

[ By now, the female was trembling, from the low temperature and fear. What happened to the circus? Even things weren't this bad when she first arrived here. What was going on... Thoughts were whirling around in her head; what happened to her friends? Was this reality, or was she hallucinating again? All she could do was worry and yet... she was too afraid to do anything. Her feet were planted firmly to the spot, her arms clutching at her body to preserve heat. Her breath escaped in small wisps of hot air, and she was sure her body was covered in goosebumps. ]

... H-Hello? Is there even anyone there... ? I-I'm really scared at the moment... [ Her usual obnoxiously loud voice had now lowered into tiny yet audible squeaks. Kotone desperately scanned the area around her, looking for a familiar or even a friendly face that would reassure her that everything would be okay... even if they were lying. ]

“I believe we have not met before. I would have remembered a face like yours, Kotone.” He smiles, being honest. He had a good memory for faces and names, something he was proud of. “I feel as though we are kindred in some way…however I cannot seem to pinpoint what exactly.”

He mused this thought over. Something about her seemed to tell him that she was from the same world as he, but a different region. Could it be? It wouldn’t hurt to ask. “Are you, by some chance, a fellow trainer like myself?”

What if Silver snapped my neck in the middle of my sleep, he punished me for stealing his clothes with Gold.!! He did… Kotone, he did!!! HE’S THE ONLY ONE WHO WOULD MURDER US DURING A RAGE ATTACK.!!!

Okay maybe this is just exaggeration, so far, Silver has never, not even once, hurt her physically… ummm… but yeah… well … yeah… Good thing he wasn’t around to hear this…

He might be angry all the time, but, he would never go so far as to kill a person! Especially me! Well, us. We're his friend, after all! [ She really wanted to strike away the possibility that they were dead; death was not a good thing!! ] Besides, I'm sure if he did want to kill us, we'd have sussed him out before he did the deed! That, or Gold would have persuaded him not to.

We're not in Hell!! We haven't done anything wrong in our lives, only good! So, we'd be in Heaven, right? And, we're not! So, we're not dead!

Or maybe it is, I’m not sure anymore, last time I remember having a dream was a few nights ago, and I woke up to Silver throwing a fit and 3 seconds away from hitting Gold, but I’m sure, I didn’t dream this… unless, I dreamed that I woke up to Silver throwing a fit, and I actually never woke up, and time didn’t pass… and I never had that da—- 

Ow, she frowned at the possibility that she actually only dreamed all of this, but no, it couldn’t be, she saw way too many people, and had conversations, she touched them…. this couldn’t be a dream.. .W-WHAT IF—- WHAT IF SHE’S DEAD!!!!

[ Other Kotone is just being silly, ahahahahahaha-- She began to pinch herself, trying to wake up from what she thought was a mere dream. To no avail. After much pain-enduring, she gave up. This obviously wasn't a dream, unfortunately... ]

Y-you might be right... [ On the brink of tears, Kotone blinked them away before shaking her head. ] No, that doesn't sound realistic... ! Besides, if we were ghosts or souls, we wouldn't be able to feel this heat!

No-one knows. We all think it's forever and ever! I don't think that guy wants to ever let us out... [ And, that terrified Kotone, just thinking about it. ] But, we're all trying to find a way out, even if it's a slow process! And, and, I heard that you can win your freedom! But, you have to perform to the Ringmaster himself, and I haven't heard of any successes yet.

[ Quickly, she gave a reassuring smile; this talk was probably unnerving the other! ] I wouldn't think too much about it. In fact, I've settled into the place now!

What kind of question was that one, of course she would be sure of being Kotone, she has BEEN Kotone all her life… it’s not like people go around and suddenly just, changes body and personality…. nope.

She walked even closer to what it seemed to be more real than she would actually like to, this weather was actually taking the last bit of sanity she had, the last few days have been crazy as hell. And now, now this…

She poked the other one’s nose and stared in disbelief, this is just not a fake image,nor a mirror…. 

I’m Kotone, and I’m a pokemon trainer… Why do you look like me, and why do you feel so real?

She continued to study the replicate of herself, slowly looking upside down, everything fit the other one perfectly, as if was the real her.

I’m myself, I don’t know who you are, is this a trick, one of those bad tricks that scares you?

This was like, when people compared her to Crystal, just this time…. they seemed to be the same persona.

[ Still very much confused by everything ( and a bit surprised by the poke on the nose ), Kotone blinked at the questions her other had just asked. ]

No way... ! I'm a Pokemon trainer too! [ Just what on earth was going on?! ] That's impossible! A-and, it's because I am real! 100%! [ The female took in a deep breath; this was so confusing!! Maybe the Ringmaster made a clone... Yes, that sounded legit, cloning. ]

I'm pretty sure I'm not the trick here, um, other Kotone! A-are you sure you're certain you're... me?
