NO! NO! It's NOT 1989 it is so CLEARLY from 1993 but for some reason Bob Berg has always sold this image as being from 1989 and not 1993 and I don't know why. Here here I will help. 1989:

Note both Gillian and Hooky's luscious hair! 1993:

They all got haircuts 'cept for Stephen.

& btw theres listings for vinyl reissues of Raise the Pressure and Twisted Tenderness. They're both priced at £48 which souuunds more like either a 2LP printing for mastering sake or there's a bonus tracks LP that's just not listed yet. (I definitely expect the former for TT unless theyre doing some Disintegration 1LP magic) RTP's features a remix of For You which is either new or previously unreleased. As it's not present on any single. (only Second Nature and Until the End of Time had remixes) They've been listed since 6 December 2024.

Hi! I saw that you dig obscure NO interviews and fan forums. How do you do it? Do you use Usenet/Usenet archives?
Getting out of my slumber for a moment. (thank you for asking :P)
I've slowly built up a bunch of defunct websites through old Wikipedia revisions and the websites you generally find in your beginning to search for this kind of thing, joydiv.org, neworderonline, worldinmotion.net. Rolling through the wayback machine is very fun! My favorite defuncts are feeleverybeat, which I still use as a source for Electronic stuff all the time, and Ceremony which is just such a beautiful relic of its time.
I keep a long list of bookmarks in a folder called "for special eyes" of things that i know are interesting and know I'll read later. For example I have this interview saved in a bookmark and for the life of me i don't remember how i found it. (new-order.net is very strange...)
Another method is to use google's various tricks for certain key terms like looking up ("bernard sumner" -"joy division" woman) which will get results that say bernard sumner, do not say joy division, and will be steered towards those that mention women. You'll often find some really obscure articles this way. The best way to get around paywalls is archive.today btw.
There's blogs like mycuttings and the beautiful constantly feeding user-generated mdmarchive. Some other magazine archives I've found on flickr and sometimes elsewhere.
Worldinmotion never went offline and it has a large sum of strange hidden pages like the newsroom. Neworderonline also never went offline and so you can literally manually type in numbers on its articles' urls and just read from there. There's so many!
I've actually never used Usenet or read an archive of it before. But... there is an archive of a mailing list from the late 80s that went until the mid 2000s that is just dripping with information. I've spent hours reading and rereading specific threads and I'm only in 1997. I also don't remember where I found it because it doesn't appear on normal search results. Viola: FAC33 Mailing list. This will consume many hours of yours, set aside some time. Don't read it during work or school, okay? It requires full attention.
I've made a post on my SpaceHey documenting a handful of NOsites I've come across and categorized. I could doublepost it here if that would be useful to anybody.
And if you're still not satisfied, ask Chris he's been doing stuff like this way longer than I have.

1993 ray gun magazine june/july issue (issue #7) has an interview with bernard and hooky and it's not archived online (trust me i looked through a dozen or so magazine archives) and it is being sold on online retailers but for like $150 oh godddddddddddddddddddd
#im not one for collecting magazines this is literally the only one i want because someone on an old forum paraphrases it#and im so curious what the original text is.#chatter#ive literally been yearning for this thing for over a year atp arrrhhhgh.
