[ 💛 || too little, too much worry - SunCap ]

[ Sunny's feathers are down. she's at the balcony railing sitting there. Cap'n saw her and noticed her gloomy state. He went out and stood next to her ] " tell me. what's wrong? is something bothering our bird? " [ he asked in such a genuine and soft way. it's a way to courage the people he likes to speak up to him ]

[ Sunny turned her head away ] " I don't know anymore. despite I tried of thinking everything what I can do to predict a good future for us. but it seems like we just don't have luck or that much authority. Maybe i'm only making excuses that we're only running away from our problems "

[ she let out a breath ] " I really don't know anymore. I don't know what to think or what method i should do to...fix things. "

[ he held her hand ] " you're worried on little things again. why don't you come with me and have a nap. you will realize little problems do not really matter either past, present, or future. "

[ Sunny got down. Cap'n turned, he bent down and offered a piggyback ride ] " c'mon. cheer up a bit! Smart people can't predict the future just by thinking! Sweet has tried that. "

[ a chuckle from the speaker. She did what the smooth boombox offered. This is one of the things Cap'n knows how to handle a mood like this. drift away the worries and go with the flow ]

[ 💛 || scary with a twist ] - stories to share at the evening after a long day of work for the band.

[ Sweet shuffled. Blinking open, they found themselves sleeping on the same couch with Cap’n and Cakes, with a blanket around them in a sitting position, except Cap’n had his head on the armrest with a pillow while Sweet rested on K_K’s chest. Must be a really uncomfortable nap before dinner. There’s 3 empty mugs on their kotatsu. They remembered drinking hot chocolate after a stressful afternoon. ]

[ the scene replayed when Sweet was slouching on the couch with a headache. Complaining about the difficult project they repair ] “ what’s wrong dude? ” [ Cap’n enters and sits next to them with elbows at the back of the couch. Sweet groans ] “ it’s the- it’s the circuits! ” “ What about it? The machine that needs a repair?  ” “ Oh my gosh cap’n! This is absolutely the worst innocent mistake! ” “ go on. ” “ the circuit boards are all- HKJVDVHJDSBJKV It’s a complete mess! It’s making my brain fry! I tried to follow the diagram but it’s not working on the machine! It responded the wrong way! I thought I might've assembled it incorrectly but it turns out they gave me the wrong diagram! ” “ oh. ” “ aaargh all that time and effort for nothing! ” [ the stressed speaker grabbed a pillow and screamed on it. Cap’n pats their back ] “ you could’ve asked us for help. ” “ but- we were all busy with the tasks today! ” “ yeah but we completed the ones we were assigned to easily! ” “ I just thought you guys were too occupied. ”

“ hey. C’mon. ” [ an arm wrapped around Sweet’s shoulder ] “ you shouldn't be so shy asking for help when something is too stressful for you. ” [ he sighed and looked to the other side ] “ we help each other remember? ” “ Okay okay. Fine. I'll ask for help tomorrow. Right now I’m having a headache from all that reading and thinking in the workshop. ”

[ perfect timing. K_K walked in with 3 mugs of their favorite hot chocolate with marshmallows ] “ get a break then! we all had a busy day~ ” [ Sweet and Cap’n held their mugs and took a sip. Now the two players noticed Sweet laid back on the couch, contented. The boombox laughs lightly ] “ what’s funny? ” [ Sweet asked ] “ nothing. You’re always cooled down when there’s hot chocolate. ” “ It's good! ” [ Cap’n sipped again ] “ it is very good. ”

[ during winter and cold weather, their usual beverage break is hot chocolate giving them the ambience of peace from the sweet warmth flavor with lo-fi beats in the background ] [ they all sat on the same couch leaning against each other. They blushed at the sweetness ]

[ it flashes now to the present showing it’s nighttime. ] [ Sweet hears laughing on the second floor. Walking up the stairs and seeing Lemony’s door was opened. Seems like everyone else was having fun. They peeked through the door to see Sunny, Frost, Karao and Lemony at the bed with a flashlight. Karao was flickering the lights ] “ I only heard that story from a video! ” [ when the lights turned off, Karao screamed when he saw someone at the door ] “ AAAAHHH!!! ” [ Sunny rolled her eye ] “ oh haha very funny Karao! You’ve seen a ghost! ” [ when they turned. Everyone else screamed ] “ AAAAAAAAAHHH!!! ”

“ guys…it’s just me… ” [ Karao flicked the flashlight to see Sweet standing. They all sighed in relief ] “ you scared us! ” “ telling scary stories I assume? ” “ yep! Mostly just a twist with funny endings. Wanna join us? ” [ Sunny invited. Sweet crawled in the bed and sat next to her with socks. It’s common to live in a house no shoes on indoors for cleanliness and proper manners. ] “ So who's gonna tell? ” [ the speaker asked ] [ Karao pointed to himself ] “ me! Again actually. I told the previous one before you’re here. (because the other three sucked) ” “ I heard that. ” [ Frost crossed his arms. The karaoke box waved ] “ yours were too serious. ” [ his bandmate only gave an eye roll but remained smiling ] “ I will tell the scariest story without the funny ending prompt. ”

[ Everyone just laughs. Karao flicked the flashlight ] “ okay okay! Now onto another story! So remain seated folks! ” [ he said it like he was on a stage. ] [ the light was off again to give a few 4 seconds of silence. Then it was on facing below him with his expression on his screenface completely changed to something unsettling, more serious. The band had a sweat running down ]

“ it was late at night… a stressful night for programmers in the office…the most dull and desolating company…some say employees’ souls were left in their body after a week… ” [ Sweet leaned next to Sunny and whispered ] “ did he make that face earlier..? ” [ she shook her head, feeling uneasy. ]

“ this was back in 201X… but there were mysterious histories behind this company… They say they hear the cries of a young girl at midnight…by the same date as May XX. Some say it was the day of an unknown missing girl no one knew about died from a local area. ”

“ And then one time…one new assigned coder was left alone in the office needing to finish the last function before it’s testrun in the morning because he insisted to. The room was dark and only lit the spot of his table. Something crashed in the printing room. Maybe the janitor was clumsy. It struck midnight. Just in time he finished drinking the energy drink. That’s where things become alarming. He heard the cry. They were right. By that same day and time, he was new to be this late. And it’s his first time to experience this kind of horror. He didn’t believe it at first. But after hearing a cry made him take his words back.”

“ He looked around left and right to see if someone’s pulling a prank. No…no one was around…not even the security…then there’s keyboards typing! He took a peek tracing the sound, gone! The keyboard stopped clicking! There’s rcyan stains on the table! something ran past him from behind! He pulled out his phone for a light! His body froze to see more cyan on the floor! a common blood color for a cyber darkner! ”

“ The door creaked in the manager’s office. the atmosphere became more unsettling when he heard crashing. There. He took one step at a time.. Shaking…horrified…getting closer to the door… ”

“ The door was made of frosted glass. And the room’s lamp was left on illuminating. A shadow…it was long and the hair was flowing. His body mindlessly walked closer to the room…holding the doorknob…and…and…and! ”

“ AAAAAAHHHHH!!!!! ” [ Karao screamed and so everyone else. ] “ it was just a tasque covered in ink and tangled in wires causing it to crash and pull the curtains. ” [ he said it casually with his normal comedic tone ] [ everyone found themselves hugging each other and pulled away ] “ the cyan stain?! ” “ the keyboard! ” “ and the cry! ” [ it sounded too convincing for a ghost to do it ]

“ chill guys. You know tasques get so relaxed on computers, even on keyboards. The cyan stuff is ink from the printing room. The cry was on queue played in a speaker because a prankster hacker did it and forgot to turn it off. The news of the missing girl was true though. ” “ No one told the guy about the fake cry?! ” “ Everyone thought it was funny. ” “ but-but- ” [ Frost stutters ] “ your face! It was so- alarming! ” “ nah. I planned that all along. Saving it for the best part~ ” [ he gets a punch on the shoulder ] “ owieeeee! I’m sowwy! ” “ it was…pretty good actually. ” [ Frost admitted ]

[ Everyone now laughs, bringing back the comedic atmosphere. The tables always turned with a good ending ] “ I got that story from a friend of mine in the city. He did say that job sucked so much he resigned ” [ Karao faked wiping a tear ] “ Was he the same guy though? In the story? ” [ Lemony tries to hold back from wheezing ] “ yeah! Too bad we don’t talk anymore from years gradually separating. Who’s next? ”

[ Sweet raised a hand without hesitation ] “ Me! Me! ” “ I can see you already know a story to tell~” [ Karao passed the flashlight ] “ of course I do! This one traumatized me! ” “ better be a good one~! ” [ the speaker coughs and also changes their expression. Waving their fingers like the typical start of the scary story ] “ It was a terrifying night at the Queen’s mansion… oooooooo~ ” [ Sunny giggled ] “ scary~ ” “ it was the time me, Cap’n, and Cakes were working there for a demanding project she requested to build… I was alone in the corridors and everyone’s asleep!… ” “ typical lonely night. ” [ Frost cutted ] “ shsh! Foucs! ” [ no wonder Karao used the unexpected serious face earlier ]

“ I tried to find the exit. I memorized some of the directions but the paintings were all the same making it hard to even differ which was the right way. Queen has security cameras that lights get turned on when sensing motions. Guards were on the other side of the corridor. Cap’n and Cakes were waiting for me from outside because I was told to repair some monitors in a room. ”

“ Just when I walked, the lights on the cameras turned on. It helps me see things from the dark! But that’s when something went chilling. Everything was cold. Dark in the middle of the long corridor with one light on where I stood. One light at the distance was on and no one was standing on that spot. I could’ve sworn everyone in the mansion was asleep and on duty while Cap’n and Cakes were outside! ”

“ two more lights went on! They’re flickering! The security camera must’ve seen something I couldn’t! My body can’t move. It was something out of the ordinary! The lights from the motion sensor cameras flicker! There! A body stood at a kilometer away! Just standing at one spot. But when the light flickered, it’s gone! It got closer and closer, each light flashed, my body started to run away on its own! But the figure is chasing me after! One light left behind me- and- and- and!! ”

[ a big green gloved hand on the shoulder ] “ Sweet. You’re heading to the dining room. You’re on the wrong path. ”

“ it was K_K. ”

[ a burst of laughter caused the other two in the living room to wake up. Frost was in a child's pose punching at the bed at such a backstory ] “ oh my gosh hahahahha! That was so bad i can’t even breathe- ” [ Sunny kept wheezing ] “ how did- how did he- *wheezing* How did he do that?! ” [ Karao is gagging, leaning on Lemony’s shoulder while their kid is squeezing her face at the pillow giggling ]

[ the boombox and the cd player are at the door and flipped the light switch ] “ what’s all the laughing about? ” [ Sweet slaps their knee ] “ just scary stories! Are you guys hungry? ” [ Everyone said yes. They crawled out of bed fixing their kid’s cover and blankets. Sunny snickers and asks Sweet ] “ was the story you told were true? ” “ yes! ” “ I gotta ask how K_K does it- ” “ Everything I said in the story was true but K_K wasn’t actually there chasing me. ” “ wh- ” “ I was actually alone in the corridors.  I just want to make the story funny to cope ” [ they said it casually, leaving the room ] [ the band who listened to their story overheard the answer. They were now frightened ]

Cyber World Fashion Sense

[ 💛 || Cat morning bath ] [ words - 794 ]

[ the sound of rice sizzling, bits of pork with small veggies all mixed together. Now put a portion on each bowl and cracked some raw eggs on top. Sprinkles spring onions as the last decoration. Now set it on the table with a slice of meat and extra veggies on each plate. A small bottle of soy sauce on the middle just in case anyone wants it ] [ The chef is proud of his cook for the first meal of the day ] [ Karao sat down, half-asleep but his hunger is the reason for his consciousness. He held his fork to reach for a slice of ham. But Frost slapped his hand lightly ] “ huh? ” “ wait for the others. “ “ but- ” [ he groaned ]

[ Frost pours one glass of orange juice and gives it to his bandmate ] “ have this instead. You can eat when everyone is on the table. ” “ Thanks, dude. It’s my fault I wake up early. ” “ It's almost seven. Don’t worry about it. ” [ everyone except Frost and Sweet often wake up from an alarm. ]

[ The music composer took a seat ] “ Can you give Chiptune a bath later? It’s been 3 weeks since his last grooming ” [ he requested ] “ aw what? Can’t you just do it? ” “ I already did since the last 2 baths. We take turns, remember? ” “ yeah but- ” [ Frost raising his one eyebrow easily cuts Karao’s excuses ] “ fine. ” [ the whole band knew it’s hard to bathe a cat. Especially their large size tasque was an inconvenient for grooming ]

[ everyone and their kid got out of their rooms saying good morning and getting their day ready with breakfast first ]

[ - - - ]

[ Around 9:00am ]

[ Karao is changing his clothes only with a tank top and shorts. Now in a search of their tasque. ] “ Now where did that kitty go? How can a tasque so big be so hard to find? ” [ he looked under the table, their shop, workshop, outside even their garage, possibly in the trash bin? He’s not convinced their tasque would be there though. ]

[ the door chimed from the bell to see K_K appeared ] “ dude. Have you seen Chiptune anywhere? ” “ no~ probably chilling on the roof. ” [ The CD player passed through. Karao again was not convinced. Although, was it really? He once more went outside to check and Cakes was right. ] “ aw c’mon! How did you even get up there?! No way you made it that way through the soffit! ” [ There is a downpipe on the corner. But everyone has not seen a cat cling onto that but news around a cat gets stuck inside a drainpipe. Karao has no time for questions. If Heading back inside to ask for help with Sunny is an option, sure he should do it ] “ wait. Chip is actually bigger than her. It might be difficult for her to carry. The turntable is the only option then. ” [ change of mind. He went to the workshop to ask Sweet for permission. ]

[ - - - ]

“ Here kitty kitty kitty! ” “Mrreow! ” [ it’s just laying down there. ] “ c’mon Chippy. I have other things to do! ” “ Mrreow! ” [ the tasque just rolled to relax facing the sky ] “ Chiptune. ” [ The karaokebox decided to step foot on the roof to grab the tasque ]

[ all the way down carrying their pet darkner, he kicked the door open heading to the bathroom. When inside, the tasque squirms knowing the situation but Karao shut the door ] “ you’re not going anywhere until you’re well groomed ” [ it meowed in low-pitch ]

[ - - - ]

[ Cap’n sat on the couch and borrowed a tv remote just to watch a series. He noticed a missing presence around the house. He asks K_K next to him ] “ where’s Karao? ” [ a sound of loud splashing water and yelling in the other room ] “ oh. ”

“ Don’t move too much! ” [ the karaokebox is trying to scrub the tasque with cat shampoo. Distress meowing echoes the whole room trying to escape from the bathtub ] “ I know it’s scary but it’ll be quick! ” [ he’s also trying his best not to harm it. ] “ Don’t get it why you’re still not used to this despite you growing up here. ” [ cleansing with scrubbing gloves ]

[ Now when it’s time to shower again, the tasque kept wriggling and turning to break free. Took almost 20 minutes but it’s done ] “ There! See? It’s not so bad? ” [ not for a soaked wet cat shivering in cold and distress. ] “ oh c’mon the water’s always warm. I’ll just grab the towel. ”

[ wrapping and carrying it out of the tub, Chiptune wrestled once again but with more strength but this time, Karao slipped and fell back to the tub ] “ ack- ” *SPLASH!!*

[ the tasque jumped out of the tub, again, and now at the door scratching. Crying for help ]

[ a knock on the door ] “ Karao, you good in there? ” [ Sweet concerns ] “ not really! I am in the water! ” “ Uh huh. Do you need help? ” “ Yes please. ”

Cap'n : you're not actually wearing a cowboy hat. have you realized that yet?

Karao : I did. I left it from a different world I travelled to. This is just my spare hat and it looks good on me.

[ Karao was just making a joke mindlessly. but it took notice that Frost is actually laughing. and this time, it's not sarcastically ] " was that really funny? "

" why not? it was good! "

[ he had never heard of him laugh like that. aside from that, he had never seen him smile this close to him. Frost had tolerated him ever since they they stopped fighting. had they finally completely understood each other? ]

[ Frost noticed his bandmate's gaze. He turned away and cough ] " uhm... you just say a lot of things. "

" yeah...hehe...I do say a lot of things..."
