Summary:

David built a new life in the sleepy, rural farming community of Fox Burrow. He had new friends, new hobbies, and not a single connection to the man he had been back in college.

Then his ex-roomate/best friend moves in next door. They’ve both changed. It’s been eight years, after all. Hal’s been through the beginning and end of a marriage, and came out the other side with a child by his side and a weight on his shoulders. David has significantly less family members than he used to, and is just trying to keep from losing his last one.

Unfortunately for him, they both just opened up a can of old wounds that never truly healed.
