I don't really know what's going on twitter right now with todomomo and stuff but can people chill? It's just a fictional ship why would it hurt you that much to even send d*ath threats to an innocent person ? Todomomo is a great, healthy ship,go cry about it.

So thinks are going worse in this fandom

As you heard probably, some Tododeku and Kiribaku (mostly Kiribaku) shippers harrased Horikoshi and it's a rumor that they send death threats too to the poor guy to make their ships canon. The whole thing started on Twitter and they even made petitions to make those ship canons..I even saw petitions of not making Izuocha and Todomomo canon which is completely unbelievable on how this fandom can take shipping this far. My hero academia is a manga created by Horikoshi. It's his choice on how the story goes, it's his choice on who to interact with who, it's his choice of making ships canon or no. It's his work that he worked hard not for some "fans" to care about some ships which are meant for fun. I ship Kiribaku but like this is too far? If you're a rlly "true fan", then you would care about the anime not the fanfiction world.

It's kinda sad that I see many people hating on Izuocha and Todomomo for no reason

You don't have to like the ships to see that:

Uraraka was Midoriya's first real friend at UA. The reason he choosed Deku as his Pro Hero name even though Bakugou called him like that in terms of bullying him (English not found)

Todoroki was the first person to notice something was off with Yaoyorozu and helped her gaining her self-confidence. Trust me or not gaining confidence back is not an easy thing to do.

People keep forgetting those stuffs and instead of seeing it they just straight up hating. Respect each others preferences please this fandom is turning into a mess (I mean it is but you get my point)..

Okay, so I had this silly idea for when Shouto first realizes he likes Momo

I am 100% convinced that he’d be completely oblivious to his blatant crush on her until someone else spells it out for him

I can totally see Momo being his first crush, partly because he didn’t get to socialize much as a kid, and partly because I headcanon him as demiro

Anyway, so one day he’s hanging out with Izuku in his room, because there’s something he wants to ask him about

A situation where he’s not sure what to do, and he’s hoping Izuku will have some ideas

“I think Yaoyorozu is using new beauty products, and that I’m severely allergic to something in them.”

Izuku tilts his head. “What makes you think that?”

Shouto explains that recently, strange things have been happening when he’s with her- things that don’t make much sense, but could likely be explained by an allergy

For example, his left side has started randomly activating around her

True, he doesn’t have much experience using his left side yet, but this has never happened before, and it only happens when she’s around

Also, he’s begun experiencing rapid heartbeat, flushed face, and shakiness around her

It’s so strange… and it’s kind of stressing him out a bit

Momo is his friend, and he really enjoys talking to her- he doesn’t wanna have to avoid her just because of some dumb allergy

And to top it all off, said allergy seems to be interfering with the part of his brain responsible for conversation- why else would he suddenly be experiencing difficulty completing sentences around her?

Izuku has a pretty good idea of what’s going on, but he asks a couple questions just to make sure his suspicions are correct

“Do you think about her a lot?”

“Yes… I have been thinking about her a lot more lately.”

“And… do you think she’s pretty?”

Shouto looks surprised. “Of course I do, Midoriya. I’d have to be blind not to see how beautiful she is.”

“O-Of course! Haha… just checking.”

“And even if I was blind, it’d be hard not to notice what a kind and genuine person she is. Everything about her is beautiful, from the way she treats others to her bright smile… and the way her eyes sparkle when she gets excited… and…”

Izuku finds himself having to stifle a laugh, because he knows

It’s so obvious, yet Shouto still can’t see it

He ends up having to spell it out for him, in no uncertain terms

“Uh, Todoroki-kun,” he says, trying not to giggle, “I think you might like her…romantically…”

Shouto just stares blankly at Izuku for a few seconds

…And then he does this:

But he wants to be absolutely sure, so the next time he sees Momo, he asks her if she’s using new beauty products

Turns out she’s just using the same ones she always has, and she even lets him try a dab of her lotion

Later on, when he’s alone in his room, he notices that he’s not experiencing any of the symptoms he thought were allergies

So… it looks like Izuku was right after all

Shouto smiles as he looks down at the hand Momo dabbed lotion on

It smells just like her- that unmistakable scent of roses, subtle but lovely nonetheless

Shouto is really glad he’s not allergic to Momo, because gosh…

He likes her so much
