Daniella's hard mode outfit is just so pretty... maybe I'm tinfoiling about the red in her dress, and if it was chosen because of the lady in red in alchemy. Did Capcom really dig that deep in alchemy lore???

Also being a Haunting Ground Fan in the year 2025 watching how many remakes of old games are being made and 0 plans of a HG one??? Gonna bite Capcom directives ankles until i get the HG remake with the Daniella Happy ending!!

I love Elden Ring's idea of ascension being inseparably tied to abandonment. Ranni and Miquella abandoning their bodies and love, Malenia casting away her pride and devotion in her last moments, Marika leaving behind her hometown and burying the grief for her people. Is loss the prerequisite to godhood? Or is divinity a mould you shave off chunks of yourself to fit into?

And does their sacrifice show conviction or simply set them up for failure? What good is an age of compassion with a loveless god, what good is burying the shaman village if it helps you conquer countless other villages, what good is ridding the world of what came before when your age aims to learn from the mistakes of the previous one.

Use if AI in fiber crafters spaces genuinely astounds me. Saw a person using chatgpt to help her pick colors for a project. Are you fucking stupid? Isn't finding the colors is a part of creative search which is basically the point of such hobby? When you finish the project and someone compliments the color palette, will you feel good knowing that it wasn't you who made this decision? Lots of fiber crafters are all about pro ecology and using natural yarns. How the fuck the use of chatgpt fits into this world view? Hypocrisy at its finest.

Some people tell me that I'm being enjoying and nerdy with anti AI agenda, that there's no hope and actually there's no point in trying to resist and we have to accept it eventually. Well, that's what all these shitty corpos implementing AI want you to feel like so you will stop trying. More and more people see how shitty this tech is and it is important to talk. It is possible to convince other people (or bully them into it lol) that using this shit isn't worth it. And if they can't be convinced...well, here we have a speedrun test to see who has no crucial thinking skills and will have intelligence degradation in a couple of years

The winged snakes were Messmer's constant companions.

They were there when the base serpent was sealed away behind his eye. They were there through his eternity of suffering.

They will accompany him yet, in his hideous new form, born when he destroyed the grace granted by his mother. They have accepted his fate as much as he.

I know I said I wouldn’t do anything serious for Messmer until I figured out a definitive style for him, but I had to get this one out of my system, else I was gonna explode 😅

It’s not perfect, his face or hair might change next week, the snake placement’s probably off, but I don’t care. This wasn’t about looking pretty. It was about letting out a feeling that hit me while sketching a sleeping Messmer with the snake wrapped around him (the helmet description really got me 😭).... It’s wild how just a few lines of text can carry so much sorrow! I’ve never cried over a piece of fiction, but reading the heartbreaking lines right after his death almost made me

my 20th anniversary comic for haunting ground. As a present I continued my series 'daniella diaries' and finally drew one of the funniest scenes in the game please enjoy. i hope one day i can live to see a remaster of this horrible game.
