So her son is not immune to the anonymous peoples' powers -- he's still human, then. It's a good thought, that her perfect son is a perfect human.
"It's good that you have such loyal friends, brother, but don't forget that people are always going to be selfish. Only your family really knows what's best for you, because family is forever, so... don't be overly reliant on them. You can rely on us."
The knowledge is gained, the work is done. All she's doing now is killing time with truths.
Good answer!!
Mod, flip a coin. If it lands on heads, Gregor is stuck in a room with Hermann for an hour. If it lands on tails, Gregor is stuck in a room with Grete for an hour.

Glad I won’t be stuck with that woman. I hope @simpleregrete’ll be happy to see me. And that she really won’t mind the arm…

"You can really come to me, no matter what? You can help me if mother decides to hurt me?"
She's able to keep her expression vulnerable, though her mind is working fast to process every single syllable out of her son's mouth and dissect it. He can't leave Limbus, but that doesn't mean he can't be loyal to his family. He worries about her plans with the boughs. He may or may not be able to travel mirror worlds depending on who this Grete is.
Though she loathes interacting with useless mirror worlds, Grete is far from useless. All she has to do is find her.
Good answer!!

I told you implies they already spoke about it. Interesting -- so her daughter made a similar, if not identical, request, and her son rejected it.
"But brother," she says in a tone close to a desperate plead, "what if mother hurts me, and you aren't there to help? None of the others would think of going against her, you're all I have, and if she decides to change me, there'll be nothing I can do. Do you want me to end up like you, brother?"
Good answer!!

"I appreciate you looking out for me so much, brother. And N Corp is fine, but it'd be better with you around."
Although it is slightly unnatural, she wills her expression into something more innocent and pleading, her sharp eyes dulling only slightly. It's still possible to be cut, but there has to be some force. "I know you dislike mother, but can't you consider coming to N Corp to be with us? We can be a family again, the three of us, and you can work with me to do whatever mother wants.
If you like Limbus Company, you can still be with them, since they are your friends, aren't they? But what if they betray you? Family is forever, friends are fleeting, and I don't want mother to say that she told you so. You should choose the stronger side, brother... for us, for me, for you."
Good answer!!

My sister, hm?
So he thinks she is Grete, confirming her suspicions that her daughter was here. Perhaps not her own, but at least a version of her. Although it has been a long time since she last talked to Grete, due to... unfortunate circumstances, she can still remember how fond her children were of each other, how Grete was so sweetly inspired by her brother.
"My apologies, brother. It was just a slip of the tongue," she explains. "And you know it is a big deal to me. You mean so much to me, and I would hate to see you affected by all of this."
Surely, then, Grete must have asked about his arm, to which her son would have replied with either an excuse to change the conversation or some odd remark about her. Her son, as kind as she is to him, seems to be intent on insisting that her gift has been nothing but bad, so it is not beyond him to even go as far as speak ill of his own mother. Their own mother.
"Though," she adds after a moment, her gaze on said arm, "you deal with it all so well, just like how you're supposed to. Brothers can't show weakness to their sisters, can they?"
Good answer!!

Although she is disoriented at first, pulled from her office desk where she had been writing to this unknown space, the sight of her son makes her focus. The natural conclusion is that those anonymous people, who have the ability to manipulate both her mental state and her location, have changed one of the aforementioned, leaving her with either a delusion of her son or her son himself. She leans towards the latter.
A cunning smile falls on Hermann's lips, and she releases their pinkies after a moment, crossing her arms. "How reliable are you, my son, to be making promises like that."
Interestingly, he mentioned Grete's name, which means that, most likely, she was here.
Good answer!!

-To: Hermann
Hello Ma'am, my name is Seth. I am a Grade 1 Fixer and Representative of Genesis Office, a Notary Public Office sponsored by Öufi Association and Seven Association that does investigation work on the side.
We have been watching The 'New League of Nine Littérateurs' closely for around a week at this point and I have worked up the courage to ask you of something.
I request, if such a position is currently open, to join the group.
I have in my possession a Golden Bough, I am willing to give it to your group if I am allowed to join, as I have no use for it.
-From: Seth
Hello, Seth. I am glad to see your interest in our group, enough so to the point where you wish to join. It is an honor to be noticed by a Grade 1 Fixer, whose status does certainly pique my interest. If I may ask, however, why is it that you wish to join our group? Why not one of the Associations your Office is partnered with, which are regarded much higher by the common people? And not only that, but why give me a sort of incentive to say yes, as if you are desperate. If you wish to be in our good graces, you would hand us the Bough without all this negotiation and we would gladly keep an eye on you, as no aid goes unthanked. By adding a bargaining chip, I cannot help but think, perhaps know, that you have another motive. Then again, that is how you survive in the City, so I cannot blame you.
Choose your reply wisely.

Can i take your son out? I swear ill get him home by 8 (PLSPSLSPSLPSLSPALAPAL)
How about we ask my son himself, since you clearly are too cowardly to ask him directly alone. @gregorbud, what do you think?

welcome to being bug
I would have struggled to reply to this at the time of my experience, given I only had one arm. It was very eye-opening, certainly, and made me think of the fond memories my son and I share. I was almost tempted to ask Jia Huan to fetch me an apple, just for an authentic experience.

Grete, my dear daughter. I will explain everything to you in due time. For now, just continue with your music.
Dear Grete, you have joined as well? If you wanted to speak to your brother so badly, you could have asked me.
@mutterlitterateur.
Mother, what is the meaning of this? Have you known, all along, that Gregor was alive and well? He told me that you knew already of his arm. Explain to me, mother, what have you been hiding, from me?

Perhaps, while we are not doing anything of major importance, it would be in my best interest to start a sort of "relationship counseling" for the members of my group. Despite what many of you must think, Ahab and I do well - better than whatever Gubo and Jia Huan have, though their bar is in the Outskirts. Or perhaps I need some sort of... poster, of the sorts, that tells a specific someone that it is alright to be himself.

M!A: Homophobic for a day
As per any good director who supports all of her colleagues, I can't, in good faith, accept this. May I suggest you redirect it to Jia Huan instead, who, already deep in denial and self-loathing, will most likely not change that much?

Looks like your daughter is on this hellsite now.
Grete? Well, she can do whatever she wants. I suppose the inevitable must happen soon, then.

You misunderstand. I do not dislike Jia Huan because he is gay, but rather because he is Jia Huan.

Sometimes I wonder whether I should have made the 9 Littérateurs a woman-only group.
