On February 4th 2000, 25 years ago, the first game of The Sims series was released. A game I was introduced to eons ago by my one of my cousins, and forever changed my life lol. So here's what's pretty much the game's most iconic family, the Goths!

Holidays in Simboco

Picture this: the whole family decides to pass the Holidays at the wealthy Uncle and Aunt's apartment in Simboco, down to that one cousin from some small town south of Cosmópolis. The roast turkey stuffed with farofa, that one cover of Jimmy Lemmon's "Happy Simsmas (War is Over)" played on repeat, the tweeny nephew whining because Vovó put raisins on every single dish, the moldy, inflatable mattresses (not enough for all the guests)… Uh-oh, looks like Uncle is stuffed to his arse with juice and nectar! Also, it's raining, the New Year's firework show at Simboco Beach might be cancelled. Ah… Simsmas!

I furnished this apartment building live on the Purple Website on December 14-21, 2024, specially for the Holidays. I originally planned to build a Brazilian suburban house but in the end I decided to just furnish a pre-built shell.

Anyways, this is a residential lot and was built on 50 Ave. Oceânica, Simboco (a 45x30 lot) in @potato-ballad-sims' São Paten.

Requires all EPs and the Master Suite SP. For the Store Content, requires a couple objects from the Lucky Palms world (I used a decrappified version though). Some CC required, specifically HugeLunatic's Simple Shower Tub, joninmobile's CASt-able Default Replacement Plants, cmomoney's Shelf Clutter Pack and @aroundthesims' Christmas Decors from her 2015 Advent Calendar.

The Wainwright Residence

Over the years, many restoration attempts were done to this old, crippling mansion that once belonged to one of Freslock's oldest families. Some locals say the several tenants mysteriously vanished, but maybe the fixer-upper was just not worth the effort.

I started building this house live on the Purple Website on October 26, 2024, originally intended for Simblreen. Well, just now I managed to finish this lot and post it here!

This house is based on a floor plan I found on Instagram back in 2022 of a 1890s Victorian house from South Bend, Indiana (US), rather than some house from the same period in California.

Anyways, this is a residential lot and was built on 4 Defact Street, Freslock Bay (a 20x50 lot) in @potato-ballad-sims' Point Ouerbacker.

Requires some EPs (World Adventures, Ambitions, Late Night, Pets, Showtime, Supernatural, Seasons and University Life). No SPs. For the Store Content, requires the Now and Then set and the Roaring Heights world (I used a decrappified version though). Some CC required, specifially the ones included in Point Ouerbacker's d°wnload file and @aroundthesims' Decrepitude Set.

Suburban Melting Pot

At first sight this is a stereotypical house from 1950s Simerican Suburbia, but as soon as you enter the rooms look so different from each other you wonder if each one has been designed by a different architect. Turns out the whole house has been projected and built by a single madman architect in 2024.

I built these houses live on the Purple Website back in July 2024 based on the Wheel of Styles Build Challenge done by Gryphi, just now I'm posting it here, after over two months.

Anyways, this is a residential lot and it’s meant to be placed on 18 Maywood Lane (a 32x30 lot), just beside the Bunch family's house.

Requires all EPs and several SPs (High-End Loft, Master Suite, Town Life, Diesel, Decades and Movie). For the Store content, three worlds (Aurora Skies, Midnight Hollow and Roaring Heighs) and the Retro Ride car from a Dr. Pepper promotional set (I used a decrappified version though). No CC required (for the screenshots though, I used the Clear & Bright Sky and Ouerbacker's Clouds replacements posted by @potato-ballad-sims).

Heeler House

A tidy, high-end rental house just across the street from Sims University's Campus, for the more fortunate ones. Fancy interior, but the exterior and landscaping make it look way out of place.

I built this house live on the Purple Website back in February 2024 for @celtysims’s Cursed Build Challenge, just now I'm posting it here.

Anyways, this is a 12x56 residential lot, you have to place it using Edit Town mode beside the Modest Manse (Two Couples household) lot located at 1051 University Drive.

Requires all EPs except for Pets and the Master Suite SP. You also need the Add Any Lot Size mod by velocitygrass, due to the weird lot size requested by the challenge.

DLC Challenge Rowhouses

Four rowhouses with very different styles, who would say they all have the same base?

I built these houses live on the Purple Website back in December 2023 for Cjplays (@gkfkfkfk)’s DLC Challenge, just now I'm posting it here, after over half a year!

Anyways, this is a residential lot and it’s meant to be placed on 99 Landgraab Avenue (a 30x30 lot), just beside Jamie Jolina's house.

Requires the University Life EP, Town Life SP and Midnight Hollow Store world (I used a decrappified version though). I also used some CAStable default replacements by joninmobile, as well as my Smooth in Three Parts default replacement, as I forgot to remove them while I was furnishing the lot.
