i know that i don’t always text you back right away. i know that i can go days without even answering you back even though you wouldn’t do the same to me. i know that there’s a lot of things missing about me that you can name from the top of your head and it still surprises you when i say that i’m all here. because you know that i’m not. i’m trying to find the beauty of life and how existing is just another way to say that i want to return home some day. somewhere inside of blown dandelions and dying suns– i’ve named another apology after the thought of not covering enough ground with you before the sun sets. and i can’t say i love you enough to make up for not always being there for you.
