"I didn't know it was possible," Vaggie confessed. "I thought that all damage done by angelic weapons was permanent." She sighed, adding, "But I went to get assistance before the battle and ended up getting my wings back. It was so sudden. One minute I'm sparring with Carmilla and the next second, I've got my wings. I still have the scars at the base of my wings from where the original pair was cut."
"War does things to people. Usually one of two things happens: they come back with trauma so severe that it turns them into a fucking dick or they come back and want to just help people with everything to make up for the terrible things they had to do." Vaggie paused. "At least, in my experience, that's how it's gone."
"You grew your wings back? I didn't know there was any species that could do that. That is pretty cool." Her hands were gentle, not even hurting as she worked on the feathers.
"Oh, we have that in common. I fought in a war, even earned a medal in the end. The Sorceress War. Hyrule was attacked by a sorceress who ended up shattering time. Patches of several ages smashed together. I fought many battles, but my biggest one was turning the tide at the last ditch efforts from the monsters to strike the Hylian capital. Lots of stories there. But it's great you are working to help others. I do the same!"

For a brief moment, she almost panicked before her training with Carmilla kicked in. Vaggie dove forward, getting low to avoid the hit. It damn near made her go face first on the mat but she recovered and got back up into her fighting stance.
Her fighting style had developed greatly and she was no longer the "stab now, ask questions later" kind of girl. She changed the grip on her practice spear a little and then moved, practically dancing circles around Ramon as she looked for an opening in his stance to capitalize on.
Vaggie successfully dodged out of the way, though Ramon managed to avoid getting tripped. She was faster than him, but he had expected her to try that.
Turning around on his heel, the knight swung out horizontally with his sword. He intended to strike the former exorcist's arm.

If Prin's tone was anything to go by, Vaggie suspected that her disdain for Heaven was much deeper than what met the eye. She hummed quietly. "I wouldn't wanna go back, personally. Even if I had the opportunity to have everything back. But I will admit that it's more peaceful in Heaven. They don't have the crime problem that exists down here."
Vaggie watched silently as Prin addressed the imp and felt her lip curl when she patted the imp on the head. It just sat wrong with her. Promptly, Vaggie's brow quirked and she didn't wait for the imp to leave before she asked, "A liaison? And here I thought you wanted some assistance improving your combat skills." She turned when she heard footsteps approaching quickly. "In the lobby, Char!"
"I know, I know!" Charlie entered, offering a cheerful smile. "I'm sorry it took me a bit to get down here! I was talking to my dad about something." She glanced at Prin and chimed, "Welcome to the hotel! We're glad to have you. I'm Charlie!" She extended her hand for a shake. "Vaggie told me a bit about you when she texted me. I can't wait to get to know you better." Without any thought or hesitation, her free arm extended to loop around Vaggie's waist, gently pulling the fallen angel against her side. It made Vaggie chitter softly.
“Hmm, well if they have their wits about them, they should want to jump straight back down anyway.” The venom spilled from her before she could catch herself. “Oh, but I’m sure it will be fine. Happy little human souls living their blissful afterlife. What more could we want for the poor dears.” In truth, the powers that be in Heaven being faced with their own kind of ‘redemption’ was just the kind of opportunity she’d love to set in motion.
As she had guessed, it wasn’t long until a rather confused looking imp came knocking, carrying two very large suitcases twice their size. Condescendingly, she pat the imp on the head. “No need for your concern, little one. I’m here as a liaison of sorts, the middleman between Sin and rehabilitating sinners. There’s common ground to be found between us, I’m sure.”
With that she shooed them away as if she hadn’t just made up this title and position for herself on the spot and reached for her bags. “Oh, I just love the mutual benefits of these partnerships, don’t you?”

Despite wanting to just curl up on herself and cry, the thought of just flying with Eleanora made her brighten a bit. She smiled weakly and nodded. "That would be great."
Getting to her feet, Agata eyed the door for a moment before she muttered, "Do you wanna just sneak out the window instead? I don't wanna deal with my dad asking questions if he saw us leaving through the door..."
"Yeah, of course." Eleanora responded, allowing a faint smile to spread across her face again. "I'll go talk to him tomorrow. Anything for you." She glanced over towards the door again quickly before moving back into a seated position, gently pulling Agata up with her.
"Hey, uh- do you want to go out flying or something?" She asked, keeping her arm wrapped gently around the other angel and letting her smile widen slightly. "To get your mind off of that for a while?"

"I understand." She paused, lowering her gaze. She'd gotten so caught up in her emotions and the thought of reuniting with her siblings that she hadn't even considered how the other residents of the hotel would take the presence of angels. There was a pause and Vaggie murmured, "On second thought, Don...maybe it would better if I talked to Charlie and just...met them at the embassy. Or maybe just do a video call."
"I don't want to make everyone here uncomfortable."
"Agreed... And I'll also help keep everyone else at the hotel at bay, a lot of us are hesitant to let any visitors from Heaven step inside, given what happened to us in the extermination war." Still, safety was the main priority of Don regarding the visit.

"... So... You ready to talk to the Morningstars? I'll set up the tea and coffee to help ease any stress this conversation might bring."

That's right- Eleanora did have a connection to an archangel as well. Agata almost forgot about that. She started to calm down and exhaled slowly, comforted by her friend's warmth and scent. "If you wouldn't mind? Maybe that'll help..."
Her fingers curled into the fabric of Eleanora's shirt, resting on her side.
She frowned slightly, her gaze drifting towards the door again and a thin sigh escaping her. "... I'm close to an Archangel, too." Eleanora said after a few moments, a hint of hesitation in her voice. "Kind of. I can... try to talk to him? If you'd like?"

She kissed back desperately, her hands coming up to cup his cheeks and hold him close. Her teeth grazed his lower lip and a soft moan escaped her.
While she hadn't expected this to be what she'd be doing after work, she couldn't deny that she was glad it was happening. Her hands moved down his cheeks and jaw, gliding teasingly over his neck. "I wanna feel you everywhere," she murmured.
"I agree."
His arms all moved to her, scooping her up pretty effortlessly and bringing her over to his bed. As soon as she was down on it, his mouth was against hers, kissing her deeply as his body pressed forward to make her lay down. His hands were all over her, touching and groping and squeezing wherever they could.

"Couldn't agree more," Vaggie replied, anticipation buzzing through her.
As soon as he charged, Vaggie waited until the last possible moment before she spun out of the way and brought the butt of her spear up, aiming to catch one of his legs to knock him off balance.
Ramon nodded in agreement. "Indeed, it does. An opponent who can move and fight back makes for better sport, as well."
He then raised his practice shield and sword, calling out "En garde!" before charging straight ahead at Vaggie.
