Me: GAH! Why am I having so many problems parallel parking today?

The Boy: Because you drunk drugs?

There is no movement from his room. I wait. Time passes. It is now 6:30 am.

I wander into his room to tell him to get up.

The boy stretches then looks into my eyes.

"I'm a snake. I'm basking in the sun to start my day."

Dude, child, you are so lucky that I am helpless against your charm.

We are pretending while we are waiting for the bus. We are training dinosaurs and the boy-child has informed me that my job is to teach archery to the t-Rex. I suspect it will be as difficult as it sounds.
