My Experince

SYNTHESIS

An educational environment plays a very important role in the teaching-learning process and influences academic success. This was evidenced in one of the classes that took place in an open environment allowing students to obtain meaningful, non-traditional learning. There is evidence of greater participation and concentration. It is also important that the teacher shows interest in her students really learning, that is why giving the necessary feedback helps and contributes to the process of each student, in addition to the fact that a teacher is responsible for creating and implementing environments that help with this learning, considering that a small activity manages to motivate them and achieve good results. Another point is to teach them to work as a team and that everyone contributes significantly to the development of the activities, helping each other to solve doubts and reinforce weaknesses, considering that each child has a different process.

POPULATION OBSERVED:

I am in the municipality of Anolaima Cundinamarca in the Colegio Campestre Santo Domingo Savio, there is a usual schedule from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. The institution provides different resources and spaces for the realization of classes. For my observation practice, I was assigned to sixth grade made up of 16 students ranging from 11 to 12 years old, seventh grade with 19 students between 13 and 14 years old, and ninth grade made up of 11 15-year-old students. The teacher oversees the area of English in elementary school, has a great command of English, is characterized by speaking only the language to be acquired during the development of her classes, emphasizes reinforcing the four skills (reading, speaking, listening and writing) as well as grammar and vocabulary.

THE MOST NOTABLE MOMENTS

During the internship process I always had that feeling of nerves, but every day I felt safer, the teacher assigned in the institution opened the spaces for me to solve doubts, I learned a little more about the art of teaching and its demands, as for the students they are judicious boys who show interest in the development of the activities,  In case they are not active, we always look to implement an icebreaker that helps motivate them. With the help of the teacher, I managed to implement some material that allowed me to become familiar with the environment around me, I received the pertinent feedback. I believe that any process or method that you want to implement within a classroom must be eye-catching, interesting and have help for continuous improvement. I also felt very happy when the teacher opened a space for me to develop a test and I managed to meet the proposed objective, the students were excited, they were interested in the good development of this and that makes me see that I am capable of many things.

CONCLUSIONS

It is important to always start with an appropriate and introductory activity that allows students to know the subject and also establish trust with the teacher for a better development of the class.

Feedback from the teacher is essential, in this way it allows the student to see their mistakes and in the same way correct them so as not to make them again.

As a teacher, you should look for all possible tools and resources that adapt to the environment and that allow you to see the student's learning method.
