What are some standard family structures in your world?
#sooo all over thr place#most of the time its just... small towns or neighborhoods in places that just gradually become very close#since no one can have children!#which also. majority of the time children end up just full on adopted by entire areas#bc its taboo to leave a child of the sprcies alone if they clearly havent already been taken in#tbh theres prob nursery rhymes abt that idea in the mainland now that i think abt it. i should write those#BUT. the only exception to all of this is siblings!#while biological parents dont exist#ppl can have biological siblings!#in which case its the same as befor plus siblings#and also ofc theres romantic partners. thats relatively the same as it is for humans

Is it more common for bussiness in your setting to be run from someone’s home or a serpate building? Does it depend on the type of business?
#from th mainland verrrry much so!#tho some that require bigger equipment may have separate buildings#or if its a very developed business then it may not have a single person running it at all#in which case its a no#but generally due to the nature of the species#jobs and businesses are so case by case that they often end up being like#based around passion over obligation#so typically its stuff ppl would already be doing!#so they already have the stuff in their home. no need for a second building!
