It’s not that I’m mad he died. I am, but that’s not the point. And I’m sad because it is a huge waste of a character and the immense talent Joseph Quinn brought to the role. Like he showed up in the fourth season of a show and made you fall in love. That takes some major skill.

However what makes me mad is the predictably of the whole situation. I’m mad that the Duffer Bros really sat there and did the same thing they always do. Write either interesting, likable, or relatable characters just to be canon fodder in the season they’re introduced. It’s so boring and tiresome at this point. Just be brave and kill off a season 1 character. It takes more effort and skill to subvert what we all assumed would happen. It’s lazy writing. I’m tired of shows suddenly having lazy writing
