Okay so I don’t want to get my hopes up but I thought of something really cute!

What if around the end of the time travel arc genin Sakura accidentally finds Sasuke and sees him before he can run away. She says “sorry mister” all sullen because they weren’t able to bring genin Sasuke back so adult Sasuke asks if she’s ok and of course she’ll say no cause the love of her life left the village.

And then he wants to reassure her and says “one day he’ll return” she’ll ask “how can you be so sure?”

And he says: “because you’re so annoying he won’t have a choice.”

Of course SP won’t do anything like this but it doesn’t hurt to dream 😭
