Was a bit swamped with birthday stuff (ok - I have no real excuse for not working on dating).
Anyhow, I’m back and committed to my 100 dates.
Never heard back from first blow off guy (chicken).
Responded to a few emails today. Nothing too exciting.

As suspected, the guy who said let’s get together Saturday and then stated: “Can we be spontaneous?:) I may have to go to Connecticut but should know early afternoon”...He didn’t bother to text my phone or contact me via the dating app at all.
So my hunch from yesterday was spot on.

I really can’t make this shit up
Today I get a nice email from a guy that’s clearly read my profile. With a hopeful attitude, I I look at his profile. Hmmm - there are no photos of his face. Then I read this on his profile...
"I apologize for the oblique selection of photos posted...my bad, and i have indicated the reason below. i do have current selfies available and will share, all things being equal...or more or less equal...or not grotesquely asymmetrical.
Instead of clicking (like) please READ my profile and ONLY THEN send me a message if you...ummm...if you...want to.

Uggh Day 2
OK - I really hate the admin of having to log in and deal with all this dating stuff. Why can’t Mr. Right just show up on my doorstep? The dating app admin does not put me in “the mood”.
2 emails today. One from a guy that “does not see likes” - aka he’s too cheap to sign up for the paid version of this app which allows you to see likes. Seriously, dude you can’t spring for $9.95/mth for this app AND you need to advertise it??? Ok - I’m not writing this in my response to the guy...that’s what I have this lovely blog for - to vent and bitch. Thank you for reading.
New Lingo on Dating Apps - as I’m perusing these profiles I need to look up: Sapiosexual and Cis Man. I have a feeling I’ll be looking up more lingo as this goes on.
Question of the day - what do you think of people that can’t capitalize I, i.e. they write it lowercase “i”. Personally I find this weird and ridiculously lazy. What do you think?

Here we go...
So WHY 100 dates for 2018?
I’ve been dating for decades and I tend to be single. I get a bit bored and frustrated with the “admin” of dating. I figured that giving myself a “goal” and starting this blog might be an interesting twist to the dating adventure.
I’m going to keep this adventure anonymous - i.e. I’m not going to reveal my name or the real names of the guys I’m dating. Don’t even bother guessing. I’m not going to reveal ANY names.
Why am I single? Well I do admit that I’m picky, however, I’ve also been dumped and had my heart broken a fair share of times. I’m also comfortable in my own skin, i.e. I don’t think I need someone to “complete me”. I would like to find a partner, but I’m not going to compromise for an asshole.
Anyhow, today (Jan. 1, 2018) is day one of this adventure. So I’m going to dust off my online profile right now. Will keep you posted on the progress - stay tuned.
