Flowai Family Fun Time!!(Part 2)

Authors Note: I finally completed part 2 of this series. Its a little shorter than I wanted it to be but its ok! I hope you like it. Here's part one for the people who missed it:

Erica's heart sank and the chewed up Tofurky slipped out of her mouth. Her family...her family were coming over...

It wasn't that Erica hated her extended family. Hate is a very strong word. It was just two family members that...kind of annoyed her.

Cousins Lavender and Rosary...

Lavender was older than Erica and more mature. She was beautiful and classy, with a upity look to match. Lavender was an "ideal" woman, high in a business career, sexy, and takes no shit... However, according to Erica, she always wasn't...nice. When Erica announced that she was Christian, Lavender...didn't take it well. Lavender is a high advocate for Flowaian spirituality. That included forms of witchcraft and ancestor worship. In fact, for the first few times she was in Erica's presence, tensions her high. Lavender would always bad talk on Erica's faith. It wasn't just religion that they disagreed on. Lavender would slick-talk on the way Erica dressed and how she behaved. Believing her to be a goody-two-shoes and afraid of her own culture.

Rosary was closer to Erica's age but a little older. When they were younger they were closer but as time went on, they began to drift apart. Once Rosary started to become more like a teenager, she didn't really have time for Erica as much as she used to. The girls started to "compete" with one another. That with being good with cheerleading, being excellent, and having a good relationship with the family, which Rosary was winning. Also, when Rosary's mom died, Erica tried to comfort her by trying to relate to her by her father who was incarcerated, but that actually made Rosary pretty upset! Rosary screamed at Erica due to death and incarceration being two different things! Erica didn't mean to, she was a kid, she didn't know any better. Rosary would just avoid Erica after that.

Erica would love to mend the relationships between her cousins, but right now it was too much.

Erica was in a daze, but she was quickly brought back due to Ivy.

"Erica? Ivy asked. Are you ok?"

Erica shook her head and snapped back to reality. "Yup, yup, I'm fine!" She responded.

After dinner everyone went their "separate" ways. Erica's mom and Scott went to their room, Ivy and Aislinn went to the living room to watch a documentary, Eris, Yarrow, and Rye went to the basement to handle..."things", and Erica went to her room.

It was just now summer vacation and she wanted it to be over already. Erica tried to be nice about it, but it was obviously going to be hell having "those two" over. Erica laid in her bed and began to think. If only there was "something" that could make the reunion more barrable...

That's it!

Caleb! Caleb can come over. Ivy and Yarrow brought their partners so its safe to say that Erica can bring hers right?! Plus, Caleb hasn't really met the family yet so this is perfect. Erica got up and went to her parents room to get the details of the reunion.

"Mom! Mom!" Erica exclaimed.

"Yes?" Erica's mom answered.

"Is it ok if my boyfriend comes to the reunion?! Please? You all never met him and I think its the best way! Please?"

Erica's mom pondered for a minute. Then she smiled. "Sure, but as long as his parents are okay with it."

Erica squealed. Part one of the plan was complete. Now to call Caleb for part two.

Erica was anxious. Each ring was more inducing than the last. Then finally Caleb picked up.

"Hello?" Caleb answered puffing. He clearly just got done working out.

"H..Hi babe!" Erica answered blushing. She liked Caleb's work out voice.

"So, what's up?"

"Um...Well...My family is having a reunion at my house and I was wondering if you...like to come?"

The silence was so loud. Erica then started to get scared. Then she heard something on the other end of the phone.

"Sorry babe, Caleb responded, Had to get some water, but I'd love to come over to meet your family!"

Erica smiled. She could finally have a buffer and spend some time with Caleb!

"Hey, real quick though..." Caleb asked.

"Oh! What is it?" Erica answered.

"Your family isn't going to make me do any weird witch spells or rituals right?"

"No...?"

"I mean its cool if they do it, I'm just saying."

"Nah its cool, I don't do witch stuff either, but I'm glad your coming!"

"Well thanks for inviting me, when is it by the way?"

Erica almost forgot. She put the phone on mute and yelled out, "Mommy? When is the reunion?"

"Next Monday through Friday, its all week!" Erica's mother yelled back.

"Thank you!"

Erica took the phone off mute and told Caleb the dates. Caleb and Erica soon said their goodbyes and smooches, and Erica played on her phone till she went to sleep.

She just hope everything was going to be ok...

Flowai Family Fun Time!!(Part 1)

Authors Note: Hey Everyone! So I had this idea in my head for quite a while now. Its actually the main reason I wanted to reboot some of my MCs in the first place. At first, I wanted to finish the bios, then write this but whatever. Its just fanfiction after all. This is the first time that I'm breaking a Choices fanfic into multiple parts. So sit back relax and enjoy.

It was the end of junior year and soon to be the beginning of summer vacation! Erica had a lot of fun during the school year. There was the field trip to the aquarium, the science fair, and that doe that somehow got into the school.

It was returned to the wild safely...

Erica and her friends were ready to go. It was hard enough with the SATs, the ACTs, and not to mention the start of finding colleges. Erica soon placed her hand on her palm and stared at the clock, watching the seconds go by.

Tick...

Tock...

Tick...

Tock...

Tick...

Tock...

She was hypnotized by the rhythm that she almost didn't notice the sudden tap on her shoulder. It was her boyfriend, Caleb Mitchell. He had a concerned look on his face.

"Erica?, he asked, I was asking what were you doing for summer break this year?"

Erica blinked, she really wasn't paying attention to a word he said. She regained composure and tried to answer Caleb's question.

"I'm probably going to volunteer at the aquatics center at the zoo!" Erica answered.

Caleb chuckled. "You always liked those rainbowfish!"

Erica blushed, they were like children to her.

Soon the final bell rang and everyone got up and made their way out! It was practically a stampede!!

After escaping the ruckus hugging and saying goodbye to all her friends, plus a kiss session with Caleb, it was time to head home.

Erica was nearing her home when she noticed some extra cars there. The cars were unfamiliar at first but as she got closer to her house she began to recognize the cars. That meant one thing...

Her brothers were home!

Erica soon came out of her car and ran straight into the house. She burst into the living room to two males.

One was laid back, with his feet on the coffee table. A charismatic smirk spread on his face with crossed arms to match. This was Yarrow. Yarrow's brown eyes looked on to the older brother. The brother was more stern and serious. He was well dressed with a proper suit and tie. This was Ivy. His brown eyes looked back at his younger brother.

"Mom said "get your feet off the counter!"" Ivy exclaimed.

"Oh relax!, Yarrow replied, They aren't causing any trouble!"

"Its still disgusting!!!"

"What? Like those over frosted cookies you like so much?!"

"Sh...shut up! There delicious!"

"Putting Nutella on a chocolate chip cookie is so fucking-"

Yarrow stopped as his looked at Erica and immediately placed his feet off the coffee table.

"Oh now you take your feet off!" Ivy sighed.

There was split second of silence before Erica ran up and tightly hugged each of her brothers.

Really, really tightly.

"OH MY GOSH GUYS!!! Erica exclaimed, ITS BEEN SO LONG, I MISS YOU SO MUCH! HOW ARE THINGS? HOWS THE CREW? HOWS THE LAWFIRM! HOWS-"

Erica just kept blabbering and blabbering and blabbering while both brothers were in her grasp. Eventually Ivy broke free, allowing him and Yarrow to breathe.

"Everything's fine Erica, sheesh!" Ivy responded annoyed.

Erica soon began puffing up her face and whimpering. Its just that her brothers both barely shared there personal lives with her so she never really knew what was going on.

"Aww Mamoru, Yarrow pouted, You're making her cry!"

Ivy was shook. He didn't mean too. So he tried to reaffirm his sister.

"Oh Erica, I'm sorry! Ivy apologized.

Quickly Erica snapped back into a smile and...once again hugged her brother.

"Its ok Ivy!" Erica accepted.

Ivy's gasps and whimpers were soon silenced by a click of the front door. Stepping in was he trio's mother, followed by there step-father, then by three others. All of them were carrying groceries. Two Erica was able to recognize immediately!

A well dressed Black man, wearing all black with a fresh cut beard and a charming smile. The other was beautiful Asian woman, who was stylish and badass.

Rye and Eris.

Erica's face lit up at the duo, but then she turned to see stranger next to them. The woman had a sweet face, dawned with freckles. Brown hair that went well with the navy and white she wore.

Ivy went to the woman and took the bag from her hand. He then placed his free arm around her shoulder.

"Erica, this is Aislinn Tanaka, she's one of the Senior Partners at the Law Firm,...Ivy introduced,...she's also my girlfriend."

Aislinn blushed at statement but couldn't resist smiling. She then looked at Erica again then looked away.

"I didn't know you had a girlfriend." Erica stated.

"Well...I just didn't know how to tell you." Ivy responded.

For some reason Aislinn and Erica just starred at each other. Neither of them made an effort to talk to the other. It was actually kind of awkward when you think about it.

Just then Scott poked his head out the kitchen archway.

"So which one of you lucky contenders would like to help me and your mother with dinner?!" Scott asked.

"Oh I can Mr. Vine!" Aislinn volunteered, clearly trying to get out the situation.

Later, the whole family plus the three guests were having dinner.

Brussel sprouts, Mashed Potatoes, Tofurky for Erica and Steak for everyone else!

"Momma, this is so good!" Yarrow said, face full of food.

"Thank you Yarrow." Their mother thanked much to her dismay.

Aislinn and Erica continued to make glances at one another. Every move swayed in a rhythm. It was like they were dancing with their heads. It was so awkward.

This time it was Erica's turn to break the silence.

"So Mommy, Erica asked, what's with all the food?"

The mother looked at her two sons. "You two didn't tell her?" She asked.

"Tell me what?" Erica asked.

Yarrow and Ivy both looked at each other and cringed. Finally Ivy sighed at announced.

"It's our Flowai Family Reunion..."

A Unlikely Friendship(Erica Vine + Ava Cunningham Friendship Oneshot)

Hey Everyone!!! I'm back with another fanfiction! I'm giving Erica a more positive story this time because I feel like I've been traumatizing this girl too much. Plus, I feel that she and Ava Cunningham would have cool chemistry weither platonic or romantic so I wanted to write a little fanfiction about it. So here's a new fanfiction with her working at her mother's witch store! Enjoy!

It was Saturday and Erica had been standing at the counter for at least two hours now, watching people walk in and out of her mothers store. She didn't mind working there, she loved to help her mom with sales, except when she had to answer certain questions like: "Is this real sage?" or "How effective are these crystals?". That she didn't know.

Erica's feet started to hurt really bad, so bad that she was swaying left and right. Then she couldn't take it anymore.

"Mommy! Erica called to her mother as she was organizing the many herbs, Can we switch, my legs are going to fall off!"

Erica turned and immediately started blushing. Back at Westchester Erica would see Ava roaming the halls. Sure she was goth but Ava never cared about others opinions. In fact, it was that confidence that attracted Erica in the first place. Erica always wanted to talk to her, and get to know her but she never got the chance, and it didn't help that she had to move. Looking at Ava in the face was even more nerve racking, she was more beautiful up close.

A stern "Excuse Me!" finally broke Erica out of her trance. Erica was shaken up a little, but back to reality.

"So, is there a reason your gripping the Mugwort tightly like that or?" Ava began to question.

"Oh no no no! Erica explained, I was just um, organizing these!!!"

Erica released the Mugwort, allowing Ava to collect it for herself. Ava looked Erica up and down suspiciously.

"You look like you don't belong here." Ava noted.

"Huh?" Erica questioned.

"This is a witch store...you do know what that is right?"

"Yeah?"

"You just look like you came out of a Moral Orel episode..."

Erica cringed a little. She had no idea what show that was, but given Ava's tone, that wasn't supposed to be a compliment. Ava began speaking to her again.

"So? Ava asked, Are you here on a dare, saving for college, or trying to convert people for church?"

"No, no, and tried but didn't work, Erica answered, My moms the owner, I work with her.

Erica pointed to her mother, who was ringing up a mysterious guy with a long brown leather jacket and necklace.

"Enjoy the violets and amethyst Mr. Ryder!" Erica's mother sent off.

Ava then looked back at Erica, shrugged her shoulders and began to move on. Erica was worried, this was her only shot to make a good impression, so she had to think of something fast, but before she could there was a loud slam at the front door. There was only one person that could of cause such ruckus...

Now why on God's green earth would Brian be here. He was Catholic, denounced anything "weird", and thinks witchcraft is a bunch of crap. Erica sweated.

"Please don't cause havoc, please don't cause havoc, please don't cause havoc." Erica thought.

But she should have known better. While no one else was looking, Brian went over to the herb section. He soon took a jar of Lemongrass and a jar of Thyme. Then he began to peal off the labels and switch them. Brian snickered and did the same with some other herbs.

Erica was a pickle. She really wanted to talk to Ava but she really needed to stop Brian. Erica sighed in defeat and went to the lather.

"Hey Brian! Erica said, Can you please stop, people take herbs very seriously and if their spells go wrong, they'll blame us. So if you can just put those back we would really appreciate it!"

Brian looked her up and down before bursting with laughter. Erica should've known better and know that Brian wasn't going to take her seriously.

"Do I really look like the guy, who gives a fuck about some fake spells with seasonings?" Brian snorted.

"Brian, I don't agree with witchcraft either, but the principle is that you shouldn't- "Erica tried to reason

"Look, since you care so much, I got a spell for ya! Abracadabra!"

Brian then threw a jar at Erica with intense speed. Erica tried to catch it but it slipped out of her hands and shattered into pieces. Erica was shocked and Brain was still snorting.

"And I will not be paying for that!" He said walking away to cause more trouble.

Erica sighed and began to clean up the mess. She was about to burst a tear when she felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned and it was revealed to be Ava. Erica blushed again, but not out of love, but out of embarrassment.

"Look, I saw what happened, Ava sighed, I've seen Karen's but that guys a dick."

"Yeah." Erica sighed.

"You need to get him back."

"Well, I mean it was only one jar..."

"Well, that one jar could soon be 10 jars, or even 30!"

Erica looked away. Ava was completely right. It was already bad Brian was a menace at school now at her job. It's ridiculous.

"You're right, Erica said, But Brian's a tough nut to crack, how am I going to get him to leave."

"You could hex him!" Ava suggested.

"No! I'm a Christian! I don't do hexes."

"Does he know that? You could...pretend to hex him?"

Erica blinked. Erica and Brian rarely talked and when they did religion was never brought up.

"I guess that could work... Erica noted, But I don't look like the hexing type..."

Ava then leaned closer to Erica and began to whisper advice. This made Erica blush and panic but she tried to listen.

Later Brian was playing with crystals when Erica approached him, determined and ready to "hex"!

"What now Vine?" Brian asked, clearly annoyed.

"Brian, I'm sorry to say this but you need to leave, Erica demanded, You are disturbing me and the other customers!"

""Look around Vine, everyone is minding their own business"

"Not really Brian, those two have been disturbed by you for the last 20 minutes."

Erica pointed to a woodsy looking couple who were clearly disturbed and upset by Brian's behavior.

"Nah they're fine Vine!" Brian said.

"Brian, if you don't leave, I'll have to force you out!" Erica warned.

"Oh yeah, you gonna put a curse on me, ooh I'm so scared!"

Brian began laughing and continued to play with the crystals. Erica looked back at Ava, who gave her a determined nod, and disappeared into the shadows.

Erica then turned back to Brian and got into his face. Brian got angry but before he could say anything Erica pulled out a candle and lit it. She then began to say a "spell"

"To those who passed on before me"

"Souls of Flowai land speak to thee"

"This man has disturbed our sacred home"

"Tempered it with the evil he has grown"

Brian thought Erica was bullshitting, but her face became more mystic and serious and he began to listen in more.

"Entrap him within your grasp"

"And make sure he can never get pass"

At this point Brian was starting to sweat and look around. No one reacted. Where they really going to just sit here and let him get cursed? But he wanted to prove how much of a man he was, so scared, he stood his ground.

"May he be judged into the world below"

"He is no longer innocent as a doe"

"May his dreams never be plenished"

"And now I BANNISH!"

With that last verse Ava quickly came behind and grabbed Brian from behind. This made Brian gasp and scream instantly. He actually managed to get Ava off of him and went out the store, running, screaming, and crying! He ran all the way to the end of the street, hoping to escape whatever "evil" Erica was doing.

Ava and Erica were laughing and even getting some applause from the other customers. A few patted them on the backs and gave appreciation for finally getting Brian out of the store.

"Ok ok, that was hilarious!" Erica exclaimed.

"Told ya!" Ava cheered.

"Do you think he's going to avoid me now?"

"He should but if he doesn't, I could hex him for real, ya know!"

"Ava!"

The girls went back to laughing but it was soon interrupted by Erica's mother. Erica thought she was screwed because technically Brian could of been a customer and him leaving could lose business.

"Mom! About Brian..." Erica started to say.

"Brian?" Erica's mother asked.

"I...uh..."

"Anyways...Erica's mom said as she rolled her eyes, I leave for 30 minutes to check some forms and not only are the herbs out of place but so are my crystals? I need you to get back to work and make sure everything is in place!"

Erica realized that her mom hasn't seen a thing. She looked at Ava and smiled.

"Sorry mommy, I'll back on it!" Erica apologized.

As Erica was finishing up the last of the herbs, Ava walked towards her.

"Hey, just wanna say nice witch face." Ava noted.

"Oh I'm not a witch, I just copied what my mom does when she does her spell work." Erica acknowledged.

"Well you almost fooled me. By the way your mom has good quality stuff in here."

"Oh thanks, we appreciate it!"

Ava nodded and started to head out. Erica saw the rose quartz in her hand and looked at Ava leaving. It was now or never.

"Wait...Hey Wait!" Erica exclaimed.

Ava stopped and looked at Erica.

"Um...I really appreciate your help and...Erica said, Well here!"

Erica placed the quartz in Ava's hand.

"Uh...I didn't pay for this?" Ava noted.

"I know, its...its on the house, I heard its for diffusing situations, take it as a memory of what we did today!" Erica said.

Ava smirked. "You know what...you're alright."

Erica could burst right now but she wanted to keep it cool. "Thank you!" She said.

With that Ava went home and when she was out of Erica's sight, Erica then started jumping for joy and giggling!

Hey Everyone!!! I'm back with another fanfiction! I'm giving Erica a more positive story this time because I feel like I've been traumatizing this girl too much. Plus, I feel that she and Ava Cunningham would have cool chemistry weither platonic or romantic so I wanted to write a little fanfiction about it.
