Wow Vivec is a dick...

A comparison of the plans of ALMSIVI in the event of the end of their worship/lives:

Almalexia: She did not have one. Her death would mark some general confusion in her city, but by 4E 201 the last indicators of her 4,000 year reign would be removed from her own temple.

Sotha Sil: He created an artificial Heart of Lorkhan so that his city could survive in the event of his death. As long as the Heart survives, it seems his city, and his still devout followers, can survive indefinitely.

Vivec: He used Baar Dau as a constant threat of the consequences of Morrowind’s people abandoning him. Even though there were attempts to prevent the rock from falling onto the city after his disappearance, these efforts would fail in 4E 5, destroying Vivec City. The impact would cause massive tsunamis to ravage mainland Morrowind, and result in the eruption of Red Mountain, destroying much of Vvardenfell in the process.

I want to make an altar to Sheogorath and I don't know where to start. I have a spare bedroom that I never use and am thinking about moving a small table into it by the window for starters, but I have no clue what to put on it or how to organize it. Any advice? (Also, I may use the altar for Sanguine, Azura, Nocturnal, Kynareth, Mara, and Dibella. So if you have any advice on permanent and interchangeable things, that helps too.) Thank you in advance for the help. (Your blog is awesome btw 😺)

I have started an Amino (that is a social media app that's more flexible and interactive) and I made an amino for us Daedra lovers. My question is how can I get us all together. I mean we are a small population. But I thought I would give it a shot. I love this Tumblr but I just don't think its interactive at all. Its hard to talk to people if at all here. Amino has it better. But anyway. What are you guys thoughts on it

Azura, also known as  Mother of the Rose and Queen of the Night Sky, is the daedric prince of twilight, change, and transition. She is Nocturnal’s sister.

Azura rules over a realm called Moonshadow, a place that is said to be so beautiful, mortals can’t comprehend it.

Azura can be worked with for spells involving change, luck, or even gender dysphoria. Her colors are black, silver, and blue, and Her summoning day is March 21st. She can also be summoned during dawn or dusk.

“Azura is the Anticipation of Sotha Sil, but female to his male. Azura was the ancestor who taught the Chimer how to be different from the Altmer. Her teachings are sometimes attributed to Boethiah. In the stories, Azura is often encountered more as a communal progenitor of the race as a whole rather than as an individual ancestor. She is associated with Dusk and Dawn, and is sometimes called the Mother Soul. Azura’s Star, also called the Twilight Star, appears briefly at dawn and dusk low on the horizon below the constellation of the Steed. Azura is associated with mystery and magic, fate and prophecy.”

Summoning Day: Azura

  Today is the summoning day of Azura: the Queen of Dawn and Dusk, the Mother of the Rose, Queen of the Night Sky, the Anticipation of Sotha Sil.

  Take a moment to think about your day, your average day, your routine, your cycle. How does it start? How does it end? When does it start? When does it end?

  These are trick questions.

   You see, it doesn’t start. It doesn’t end. It just is. We keep on going until the very last breath of air escapes from our lungs. Until the last beat of our heart. Until our last mortal thoughts makes themselves conscious to us. Yes, until that day, that very moment in our lives, we do not stop. Forever we loop through the stream of life.

  Many believe the dawn to be the start of a new day and dusk the end of an old one. But these are merely fallacies. These are terms us mortals concocted while trying to understand the infinities of the universe.

  Reflect upon this. Reflect upon your finite life and how it affects the infinity. One day, you will be gone, but the world will continue. What will be left of you when you are gone? And will it even matter to anyone?

  Whatever you leave behind, whatever you contribution is, it should matter to at least one person; it should matter to you. Find your place in the sun. Find the one thing in life that lights you world so brightly it illuminates your sky even in the dead of night.

  Find your reason to rise so that when your time comes, you will be ready to set.
