Wrong book

So a couple of weeks ago, I bought a bunch of books online as christmas gifts, and I decided to treat myself to one as well. I chose the book "Three Dark Crowns" by Kendare Blake, and I had waited intensely for the books to come, which was today. Turns out, I accidentally bought the sequel "One Dark Thone" 😭 Guess I won't be starting this series anytime soon😂😂

Please tell me I'm not the only one who has done this!!!😂

Read 1 book every two months

Read a book a day

There is no in between.

Imagine being a first year Slytherin in Harry’s first year.

You won all your points fairly.

You did your best in school.

You were new and just wanted to fit in.

You’re so proud to have won the house cup, the hall decked out in Slytherin colours. It’s a great end to your first year.

But then after announcing the winner of the cup the headmaster decides to start awarding points to his own house for rule breaking, and fighting with their friends.

Not only could he have awarded these points before the feast, he CHOSE to do this publicly …. He CHOSE to humiliate your house …. He CHOSE to choose his house over your own simply because “Harry Potter saved the day but still broke like 50 school rules.”

Yet had Harry been a Slytherin …. Chances were he’d be punished not rewarded.

You’re twelve years old …. And this is the impression you get from the schools head master ….

That hard work is not rewarded …. It’s punished with humiliation because someone else is more important ….

Harsh lessons to be learned so young …. But to quote one of the best Slytherins of all

“Life isn’t fair.”

headcanon that teddy lupin has a little “business” at hogwarts where he will change his appearance to someone and then go do whatever it is that person needs to do. like if someone needs to break up with their boyfriend but are too scared to do it, they’ll hire teddy and teddy will change into them and do it for them. or if they need to go serve detention but the professor is really shitty to that person and they can’t handle it, teddy will go to detention for them so that the person doesn’t have to deal with that professor. or if they are nervous about a date with someone, teddy will turn into that person so that they can practice talking to that person until they feel they can calmly do so. teddy just being a helpful person getting paid in sweets or tutoring or a drink in Hogsmeade

This is the start of my huge Harry Potter project.

For every book, I’m going to draw the most important supporting characters, staying as true to the books’ descriptions as possible (with a mix of my own vision). I’m leaving out the trio on purpose, because I feel that everyone should have their own idea of what they look like and I’d like to keep it that way. Every character is accompanied by a set of items that are important to them in this specific book.

I’m having a lot of fun so far! It’s very interesting to design all these characters and make them as unique-looking as possible.
