Eating a bagel and yogurt drowning in how completely lost I am in life

I’m still Rachel Berry I guess

But the Rachel after she chokes at her NYADA audition

I apparently can’t teach dance, I underprepare and can’t read a room to save my life

My writing won’t pay anything, and any writing that does looks miserably boring or just plain annoying

My degree is completely useless to me and so is all the money I’ve spent trying to get here

My relationship is literally all I have. I am lost in a sea of second jobs and side hustles and I have no achievable career dream

Guess I’ll just sit here and watch Pokémon til it’s time to go to bed, then go work my opener at Starbucks and do it all over again

Right, I get that, that’s one of the cool things about the show. But when you get to the winner and people no longer feel like their watching matters anymore, the show not only loses its viewership, it loses its purpose. Bobby has an enormous fan base, as does Joe, but because people that like them disproportionately watch this show over fan bases of other celebrities, that’s going to skew the perception of who “America’s favorite dancer” is. I’m not saying do away with viewer votes, but I would like to play around with some ways to statistically alter the weight or ratio of viewer votes vs judges scores.

Spoiler alert:

I love Sharna a lot but this isn’t how I wanted her to win

And tbh this whole season has illustrated how the format of the show needs to be altered to compensate for the insanely skewed viewer voting base. Something has to change. I’m not sure what or how, but Joe staying on so long and Bobby winning are symptoms of a larger problem.

Very conflicted about this whole thing. Would love to know how everyone else placed. Gonna sleep on this one.

Yeah it’s hard to tell if he’s uncomfortable being affectionate on camera bc he’s a private person or if he’s uncomfortable bc it’s completely fake. I haven’t decided which one I think it is

Okay it was good but definitely not better than Milo or Juan Pablo... I didn’t think Evanna deserved her perfect score but I’d say it was mostly on par with her

But Alan, honey..... you sold out. The showmance polarizes viewers, and people who watch season after season don’t watch for the cringeworthy “chemistry”

I’ve danced with guys as bad as him but none as arrogant. He has a terrible attitude and I don’t understand why people are still voting for him
