I’m starting to get pretty stoked about playing the 2nd round of the Hard Rock Battle of the Bands coming up March 10th, so I put together a short video with a little bit of footage from round 1. If you couldn’t make it, take a look, and even if you did make it, still check it out. Do it. Seriously. 

I’m trying to gather as many people as I can to come out and hang March 10th, so if you’re in the south Florida area, please try and make it out. It’d be a dream to play in London and I think we definitely have a good chance, especially with all of you wonderful people jumping around in mah faaaace. Oh, and thanks so much for all the on going support, I’ll never be able to express how much it means to me. See you March 10th!

Hello Family...

14 days ago I left my computer lost and confused about who I was. I took a little break from certain things, and went to find myself. Do a little soul searching you could say. I was only planning on being gone for 3 days, however, I quickly got caught up in life. I've realized that certain things and certain people hold special places in my heart, and they can not be replaced no matter how much I may change and grow as a person. So while on my journey to get back on track with myself, I sifted through the temporary things and found the things that hold those places in my heart. Those things, that are a little piece of me, and will always be a teeny bit more special and important than the rest.

One of those things is My Electric Heart. My love for not only Rick and Rob, but for the band as a whole goes way beyond what words can describe. While on my little break, I listened to a lot of music. I always found myself turning to MEH above anything else... Not only because it made me smile with its upbeat rhythm, or because listening to it made me think of two people I am so blessed to have come into my life, but because it reminded me of what I love most... The Music. Music reminds me of one of my favorite things, memories. Memories of all sorts of things, but in this case, memories of MEH. I remember the first time I heard an MEH song, or rather a TSS song. ;) I remember the first time I talked to Rob, the first thing I said to Rick, the first day I started this Street Team. I remembered all the memories I've had, whether it be long phone talks with Rob, or Follow Friday posts on twitter. All the conversations I've had with the amazing people I've met just by sharing the love of ONE band, and the family I have made. 

Not only did I find myself in the last two weeks, but I got to know myself. I learned stuff about me that I never believed when people told me, and confirmed things I was always questioning. My new outlook on life is definitely something that is going to help me in the long run.

As my love for music grows, I become more confident in the fact that this is what I want to do for the rest of my life. Not only do I hope to have the pleasure of becoming friends with so many more people in the years that lie ahead, but also to become closer with the ones I know now. I am so thankful to have all the wonderful people in my life that I do, and to have things like My Electric Heart to help me find my way when I've fallen off track.

Some of you may have heard this already, but just in case you haven’t I thought I’d post it on this new Tumblr situation of mine. 

It’s a clip of a slower jam that will soon be posted in it’s entirety. It’s about a good friend of mine from high school who had so much going for her but got mixed up with the wrong crowd and made some pretty bad choices. I haven’t heard from her since then, but I sometimes find myself wondering where she ended up. Let me know your thoughts, I welcome any feedback, obviously. 

Also, I’m still trying to think of a title, so if you have any ideas, throw them my way!
