the way I felt proud and independent for working 2 jobs (I hadn’t worked a Real job for like a year bc of my eye surgeries) and taking care of myself (mostly) and taking care of my cat and struggling to keep up with housework in between working and sleeping…
#then my friends get home and start cleaning cuz the house is dirty#listen I’ve got the tism and the ssion and the iety#I can barely keep myself alive and so doing the housework on top of working two jobs was a feat for me#not to mention that my new job is really hard on my body so I’m in pain#like yeah ik I’d probably die if I lived alone ok good thing that’ll never happen#I’m trying ok#but the way they got home from their hours and hours in a plane and started cleaning??? bro I’m tired just from shopping#I missed them and now I feel like a failure and a job they had to come back to

it hit me out of nowhere today that i don’t have to wear sleeves when i get married 🥺🥺
and it made me surprisingly emotional.

once again, every time I hear a supposedly “uplifting” missionary story, it just feels apocalyptic and sad
