this trial has been fucking heartbreaking tbh. ppl who are saying that this is a win for male victims or for all victims simply don’t realize the repercussions of the verdict. this will create a precedent in which any abuser can simply sue their victim over even mentioning they’ve been abused without even naming their abuser. this is not a win for anyone except for abusers who only have more to gain.
