"buck can't stay with his first man, he needs to explore" nothing to say he can't explore within a committed relationship.

also it's not like he'll lose his bisexuality if he doesn't renew it at the bisexual headquarters or something. he will still be attracted to more than one gender, regardless of who he ends up with (or doesn't end up with). he could decide to be celibate after he and tommy break up at the commendation ceremony and never have sex with anyone ever again and still be bisexual.

My unpopular opinion:

I honestly hate how the show made Buck Christopher's closest person besides Eddie. Not because I have anything against the dynamic but because there was never a clear talk about what Buck truly is in the life of the Diaz family.

With how the show has written them it just looks so bad to me because you have Eddie putting all this responsibility on Buck without ever talking to him about it. This is not meant as Eddie hate. But the show never shows us a clear communication about the will, about the aftermath of the tsunami and then the show almost frames it like Buck has abandoned his kid with the lawsuit when that is not the case!

Buck is not Christopher father! Buck should not have the full responsibility of Christopher especially not after 2 years of maybe knowing them and I hate the framing of it.

Because we know canonically that Buck has to fix things, that he has to have a purpose because his entire life he feels like he has failed so of course when Eddie asks he steps in but they never acknowledge that. They never talk about or acknowledge this huge responsibility that Eddie just puts on Buck without seemingly talking to him about it. (Bad writing here but alas, I have beef with the 911 writers anyway.)

Buck is never asked if he is okay with any of the trust Eddie puts in him. And I understand that people will argue "Oh, he loves Eddie and Chris blah blah" and that is my problem!

We know that Buck will do anything for people to love him, that he clings to others and is scared to say the truth because he might lose someone. Which makes it that much more annoying for me to see how many people just accept him never speaking up. Buck should talk about this! Buck should have had a talk, a sit-down years ago and Shanon should have been there because she was Christopher mother! Buck should have been allowed to be angry that Eddie has made a big decision like this without asking me! Buck should have been allowed to be confused because why couldn't Eddie just tell him? Buck should have been allowed to feel things openly after a discussion about the will.

Buck should not have to be anything for Christopher because he isn't his parent. Buck should not have to take care of Christopher when Eddie dies without ever being asked to if he is okay with that.

I just hate how accepted this perspective of Buck being Christopher's parent is when it is never talked about if Buck is even ready to fulfill that role (let alone if he should but people aren't ready for that talk yet.)

My main problem with Buddie is how much they have made this little family but we never see any actual discussion or talk about their place in each others life which should have happened at the latest after Eddie was shoot and revealed the will thing.

Buck just gets written into this dynamic and it feels like no one ever questions his place. Why does the team make Buck, the person who has just seen someone shoot, be the one to talk to Christopher? Why does Buck have to take care of Christopher when Christopher clearly has such a big family? I understand that Eddie's relationship to his family is bad, I get that, but I hate that Buck after experiencing some of the most traumatic things, is just expected to be there to take care of Christopher and it is never questioned!

Which is why I hope Tommy will finally be the person who brings this up because I have been wanting for someone to talk about it for years, for someone to question it for years because we should!

I know he was miserable back then and I hate that he was away from the 118, but sometimes I miss dispatch!eddie 😭 because even though he was in a terrible place mentally he had such a cute dynamic with linda and may and I know they made his days a bit better and he was just a silly guy making tweets all day :(

I hope abc consider 911 Air operation spinoff.

LAFD's Air operation is a real thing. 911 is doing well on abc, and there's an empty slot. There aren't many shows about pilots and so. It'll be a new area to explore other than cops and doctors.

I enjoyed watching Skymed (canadian). It was really cool. Pilots & nurses working in a small town and lack of resources reminded me a little of "code Black".
