Latest finish. I've been stress-stitching, as many of my loved ones have been without power or heat since Sunday. Temps are still below 20°F/-7°C, all roads closed due to ice and snow, so they have no way to evacuate and I have no way to get to them. So, we were out getting supplies (shuddup, in this house books ARE supplies), and we found this 10 inch Ursula #glowinthedark @originalfunko Pop. Her trident was broken, and my heart followed. I just had to take her home and care for her. @barnesandnoble was kind enough to discount her, and @nerdwyfe gifted her to me. I took some #GorillaGlue, set it in place, and then wound the break with @dmc_embroidery #glowinthedark thread. Now to wait and see how it cures and heals. I couldn't leave her there to be unloved. A little overdue, but here's the full @originalfunko collection, finally all properly displayed together for the first time. Eventually I'll want to display the autographed pieces separately. I have a Carrie pop signed by @joebobbriggsofficial and @dianaprincexo, a Pinhead signed by @officialdougbradley, and a Robot B9 signed by all the members of @bitforceband . Unfortunately, we no longer possess the Freddy Kreuger signed by @robert_b_englund. The hard times of the last couple of years kept most of my things in hock, and that one slipped away from us. I cry still when I think of that. 💔 But, things are getting to where the occasional Pop can be a thing, and I can add @displaygeek shelves as needed in the future. Since my @nerdwyfe and I are both Moms, we co-celebrate. She set me up with OJ and my favorite tequila in my favorite glass, while she sips her whiskey.
