So if you're in the UK you have probably heard about the proposed changes to disability benefits. If not, here is a BBC News article (link) about it, and the Big Issue (link) have been running basically non-stop articles about it since the announcement.

Crucially, the government is holding a consultation. Will as many of us as possible weighing in change the outcome? Possibly, though it's far from guaranteed. Will not filling it in help the situation in the slightest? No. So let's all have a go.

It's also always worth contacting your MP to let them know what you think, if only to get a response on fancy Commons stationery. You can find your MP here: (link)

What exactly is a PWA?

A PWA is basically just a web site packaged into a light-weight app container, so that it behaves as its own independent app on your phone instead of having to be accessed through a browser. You can read more about PWAs and how to intall ours here!

Pillowfort has been around for seven years, where other small social media has withered and died. Cohost came and went all within PF's lifetime.

Pillowfort is small. It is buggy. It has no video or audio, only Youtube embeds. It runs on 7k/month, mostly spent on moderators. They use their resources as best they can, and have built a damn resilient product for it.

Pillowfort is trying to build a better, sustainable internet, without venture capital tricks destroying good services. It's not impossible, just harder, and slower. Don't believe the defeatists.

Pillowfort is not for everybody. The only way you'll find out whether you like it is by trying it.
