Senior Project

For my Senior Project I hosted a photoshoot at a studio for some of my brothers that are apart of my organization Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. My project is titled "Project Brotherhood" where brothers came dressed in either a suit or paraphernalia and I would take their picture and their was also a video portion where all brothers were interviewed and asked the same question "What is brotherhood to you?" With this content I went and turned 5 pictures to a cartoon and made another 5 into a Kappa Alpha Psi magazine. And with the video I made a documentary with all my brothers response to "What does brotherhood mean to you?"

Closing

Throughout working with NFL Player Chase Young I learned that it is very important to network every opportunity you get. I took advantage of my opportunity and networked witheveryon that Chase itroduced me too and to even people e did not introduce me to I introduced myself. FRom this internship I gained amazing picturs of NFL and NBA players and showcased it to the world and helped one of my videos reach 19,000 views which is amazing. EVen if people don't like my work they definitely see it! What lessons I would like to pass on is Network Network Network! Never be afraid of the big moment! And I learned from my supervisor how to be an personal NFL photographer and what comes with that is fast rturn on pictures.

Today I had the amazing opportunity to take pictures at the Washington Commanders Training Camp on August 1, 2023. It was an amazing opportunity to watch my favorite team get ready for this upcoming season and be able to do what I love which is take pictures

Improvement

This has been an amazing week for my business because of my internship. The videos that I created of a workout recap for Odell Beckham and Chase Young helped my “MboogieVisuals” instagram account reach 33,000 views, so that means 33,000 people viewed my business page. While in Miami there was a random guy who walked up to me and was like “wassup bro, I’ve been seeing your work on instagram keep it up” im like wow my work made it all the way out here to Miami. Then this week my aunt who lives in North Carolina texted me and said, “I love seeing your work pop up on my instagram” and it amazes me that my work made it out to North Carolina

What you are doing (actual duties)

My duties are to capture NFL player Chase Young workouts and football camps. Chae Young had a Youth Football Camp collaborated with DtLR and Klutch sport sin Southest DC. It was an amazing opportunity to see all the young kids come o see Chase Young.

Whom you are working with and/or learning from

Im working with Chase Young and I had the pleasure to meet Klutch Sports photographer. He takes pictures for every athlete that is a member of Klutch Sports. He was there at the camp with me and taught me a few things. Is instagram is @graydientvisuals. While at the camp I also had the opportunity to take pictures for another NFL playr named Kei'trel Clark who is a Cornerback for the Arizona Cardinals.

Miami Internship

While being in Miami was an amazing experience. I had the amazing opportunity to work with NFL player Chase Young and being able to network with her stars such as Odell, Monte Morris Devante Graham, Victor Oladipo, Alvin Kamara, and more. I learned a lot dow there that helped me have a great internship result. What I learned was return time on pictures has to be fast because the players are ready to post! Another thing I learned was that the lens 24-70mm is my next lens that I need to buy as well as the 70-200 because if im going to be taking picture of athletes those are the two best lens.

Chase Young (NFL Player) Internship

On July 4th weekend I had the amazing opportunity to make a voluntary video recap of NFL Player Chase Young 2nd annual Football Camp in Washington D.C. and when he posted the video it received 200 thousand views. On July 11th Chase called me asking was I available from July 14-23rd to come down to Miami with him nd record and take pictures of him and other NFL Players. When I recieved this call It was amazing I cleared up my schedule. While down there I will be interning for him and taking pictures and recording for him. This internship opportunity insures that I receive my 50+ internship hours as well as networking and connecting with other NFL stars.
