I been thinking that if there is an impostor in sagau that would be celestia itself! And let me explain it

Genshin impact players (or at least the ones that are reading this) loves the world of Tevyat and won't really want to bring bad to the world they love (or at least won't go around destroying entire nations), while Celestia has been punishing (and for that is more likely destroying) whoever that it thinks has goes to far for his liking, just look at Khaenri'ah, Dragonspine or even Focalors

Celestia doesn't look for good on Tevyat, Celestia just wants control and that is why it punish anyone who tries to win aknowledge (i mean, they can easily pass as philosophers or even scientists in out world, isn't it?), and we can see that see people of Tevyat just go around freely, the fatui stealing gnosis and Archons quitting their jobs because Celestia is unresponsive right now

That is why it isn't difficult to think that Celestia will try to supplant the true creator of Tevyat to try to win all the power and control over Tevyat, and when the true creator came to Tevyat Celestia will order everyone to hunt them down because their plan is at risk

Just a random scenario, I wanted to hear your thoughts or what you would think would happen.

Imagine all of the Archons are asking the creator to stay in their nation, so they all decided to try to bribe their creator. In my case, I love my baby anemos, so they decided to use that against me;

Zhongli: Creator, would you like to stay in Liyue? your favorite, Xiao, can protect you during your stay.

Raiden: I have Kazuha and Heizou! I think you would like our hot springs and the luxury of tenshukakku.

Kazuha: ..... is staring at her like she grew a second head.

Nahida: We have a large akademia, and we have a cat- I mean Scara.

Furina: ... Um.. um.. Umm.. We have a Lyney! (She thought it was just short dudes.)

Venti: Ahem~ I am the archon of anemo, I believe I can-

Zhongli: You'd invite them to drink with you, which I can not allow considering your habits.

Nahida: Do you like cats, creator?

Furina: Wait, it was about anemo characters?-

Raiden: We have foxes too!

Zhongli: I have a pet dragon!

(Then it starts to get more chaotic as they argue.)

Nahida: Mine told me to fuck off and die.

I can't be the only one that doesn't instantly think of SAGAU when I see this description right?

"Opulent golden mask" cause of golden blood "Certain strange and wondrous realm" the certain part is literally implying our world (due to the crossover) The entire thing just screams SAGAU to me and I want to know if anyone else if getting these vibes

This is a silly thought, don't ask me why but I just remembered that in some kingdoms the emperor, in addition to having his wife he has concubines

so if we talk about this on SAGAU I think it won't be much troubles if reader decides to have a system like that, but it would work more in a Cult au, no one will go against the wishes of their Grace

So in that case you could have a spouse (or maybe even two, I dunno) and concubines (regardless of gender, depending on which you prefer sorry I dont know the term for males), and being either of them will be a really great honor and depending who it is the person will be either make their biggest efforts to meet your expectations and please you or think that they are already enough for you since you had chose them and maybe even be cocky with it

Haha imagine your spouse being jealous of the concubines

Okay but what about an imposter au with an isekied!creator!reader who suffer from depression, like reader is already depressed but seeing their favorites characters hating them and wanting them dead makes reader even more depressed

At some point reader just give up and decide to let people kill them but Tevyat just don't leave them because, u know, is the creator

And even when all the mess is clarified and the hunting ends the creador!reader is still depressed (obviously, depresion is not something that goes away over night) and now the acolyotes has to handle the fact that the creator almost never talks with them, barely goes out and even want to kill themselfs

I like that idea, I think i will write it!

Something has just crossed my mind, you know how we have the opportunity to mess with Paimon from time to time? Saying silly things and, our favorite, calling her our emergency food!

I won't believe you if you say that you haven't call her like that at least once

Okay, so now in SAGAU, more specifically with an isekied!creator!reader, I KNOW Paimon won't lose the opportunity to say something about it, you see how she always gets mad with traveller and scold them? Well, with reader will be the same

Paimon will be like " yes, I do know that you are our beloved creador and yes, I do respect and worship you but HOW DARE YOU CALL ME EMERGENCY FOOD!!?? "

What about a isekied!creator!reader that has trust issues, it doesn't even have to be in a imposter au, is just that reader has really bad past experiences and developed trust issues

Like, reader came to Tevyat and everyone seem happy to have them here and start worship them with wide smiles and reader is like 💀???

Reader just feels like they want something from them or that at some point one of them will betray them and stab a dagger in the back or something, everytime someone worships them, tries to make offerings to them or just express their undying love for them the creador is like yeah yeah, what do you want? because they can't just believe that they are doing it out of love and admiration (or obsession)

The acolyotes doesn't know what is happening or what they have done to make their beloved creator think that they have other intentions and will apologize for give you a bad impresion of them and for making you uncomfortable (specially in a cult au, where they are even more intense)

When you finally start to let your guard down they couldn't be happier, maybe even celebrate that you finally seem comfortable in your world (but feel a little ashame for being too excited)

and if there is someone (or some of them) specifically with who you feel more comfortable and safe the rest of the acolyotes will be between the jealousy of not being them and the happines of you finally feeling comfortable, and I doubt that person will have a problem with spending all their time with you if that is that is what you want

I just KNOW that in a imposter au traveller won't be tricked by the imposter

They haven't being on Tevyat until now so they just get to know about you a little ago, and most important they had felt your presence when you saved them when that strange god attacked them (u know, since you have to choose a twin)

They had been your first vessel and even if isn't one of your mains it is there with you every now an then (for cinematics and some missions)

He knows your energy more than anyone else and knows that the one in the throne isn't you, but probably don't tell anyone aside from Paimon because they will be acused of being a traidor or something

Based on this drabble

This is my first time properly writing so i hope I made it right!! I know a lot of people loved this idea so i hope I met their expectations with this!

Maybe in the future I will write more for post-imposter au!!

You don't remember how long it has been since the day you arrived on Tevyat, the initial happiness and curiosity you felt that day has long forgotten, but at this point it doesn't matter, what only matter is that you are finally able to rest because everyone had finally stoped chasing you, you don't know why but you don't care, you just don't know to whom God thank that they had finally stoped

However that peace and relief only lasted a couple of days before they followed you again, but this time instead of carrying weapons and threatens they carry an expression full of regret and sadness, instead of imediatly attacking you they immediatly kneel and beg for forgiveness, sometimes they even bring you offerings, promising to be only the best for you but that is what they say and you can't trust them

You wanted nothing more than get away from them, and you did so, you always wander away from the civilization and stay by the side of the only ones that had never tried to kill you, you stay with the kind slimes that used to shield you and cuddle you while you were trying to sleep, with the hilichurls that always make sure to gave you a messy plate of warm food, the abyssm creatures that used to wander with you and shield you everytime someone get close

You wanted to stay with them but the people of Tevyat were stubborn and annoying, they had been even more annoying that when they wanted you dead because now you can even heard them beg for forgiveness to the statues of you and in the temple, it was too much, even more difficult to handle than before and for your own sanity you decided to accept their prayers and go with them, hoping that they will just shut up already

You thought that now that you know how regretful they were you will be able to handle it, but you were wrong, you can't find peace when all their angry faces and bloodlust against you still hunt you down in your nightmares. Even when they kneel at your very least image and talks to you with a lot of respect you just don't feel safe around them, even if your body doesn't have the scars of what happened your soul and mind does, you feel vulnerable and threaten by their very presence and if anyone dares to approach to you, even just a little, you always instinctively step back, they understand and apologize everytime it happens, however they never expected for you to one day start covering yourself

You start to use clothes that cover all your body, that way you feel at least a little more safe, you even started to change your appearance, but it wasn't enough, it is never enough for you, not when everytime you see your reflection in the mirror the only thing you see is the reason why all the people you used to love started to hate you and chased you to death, at this point you don't want nothing more that destroy it too, so you started to cover your face with a mask, a mask that the hilichurls gifted you

Everyone was surprised but they don't say anything, not that they have the right to do so. It become painfuly for everyone to not being able to see you but they just accept their punishment

You weren't the only one suffering from this, everyone on Tevyat was suffering, every day they regret what they have done, and that suffering only increase with every day that pass without being able to get more than a few words from you, only the necesary. And that suffering only increase when they find out that when you go out of the temple you visit all the creatures that had helped you, the ones that protected you since the first day and that you allow them and only them to see your face, you feel comfortable enough with them to take out your mask and you even smile at them, they are allowed to heard your voice filled with happiness and love, they understand but that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt, the guilt they feel only increase and is eating them alive

The Archons are suffering the most, they are supoused to be the closest to you and yet they were easily fooled by and made suffer their true creator, they ordered their people to hunt you down and kill you without mercy, the person that gave them everything, the person they were supoused to love and protect. The regret and guilt is too much to handle even for them, it makes them wish death, but dying is too merciful of a fate for them and they know it

This is something silly about me but hear me out!

I sometimes take in consideration a little too much the characters, for example I know that Gorou like to climb, so whenever i go to explore calmly and just because i need to farm or something I normally use Gorou to walk around (specially while climbing *cof* Lynue *cof*), but if it start raining I change him because i know he doesn't like when his tail gets wet

Also, you know how we always get mails when is the characters birthday? Well, I ALWAYS say happy birthday, even if i don't know who it is im always like " I dont know who you are but happy birthday "

Now imagine that in the self aware au! You cannot tell me that the characters won't feel flustered by it!! Maybe even flattered (and im sure some of them are dying because they want to tease you for it)

Okay, but what about an imposter au with an isekied!reader that is way too inocent and excited to notice that people were initialy mad at them?

Like, reader arrived Tevyat and gets incredibly excited when realice what is happening and then one of the characters find them and when was about to acuse you of trying to look like the creator reader just goes to them and start talking super excitedly with a big smile about them, calling them cute nicknames, praising their strenght and elementary mastery and even talking about their weapon, telling them how much you like to use them in your adventures and how you were trying really hard to build them or how excited you were to get them (even saving wishes to get it in the next banner)

They are supoused to be angry at you for you audacity to dress like the creator but now is completely flustered because the one in the throne barely look at them and probably doesn't even know their name and now you are praising them and even know a lot of them, and yet they doesn't feel vulnerable (or at least not in a bad way) or in danger, they feel completely safe (u know, for the creator's aura)

I think that is more than enough proof of you being the real one

Can we talk about Noelle???

I mean, she is a maid that had been training so hard to become a Knight, she is incredibly strong and had a lot of benefits for the player (and most players love her for it and because she is incredibly beautiful) but the Knights of Favonius still doesn't accept her as a knight

So imagine that the creator loves her, even praise her for her strength and power, she will be totally flustered and insisting that there is no need for so much praises but she is grateful for the praises. The Knights of Favonius will be between surprised by you reconizing her strength and embarrassed for not doing it them

Now about me simping over her, imagine the creator getting mad for the Knights not apreciating her true strength so they decide to give her the honor of being their highness' personal knight

As a neurodivergent person I tend to repeat A LOT some voice lines of some of the characters, for example since I had been using Yanfei a lot a cannot stop repeating what she says when she attacks, and also happen to me with Collei, Amber and Barbara because some of their voice lines are so cuteeeeeee!!!

Okay, now to what bring us here, imagine that in sagau, they will be able to heard you, i think at first they will be confused and probably shocked, are you making fun of them?? But the more you do it they will understand that is just because you like it!

Their reaction depends on for who you do it, it could be being really embarrassed because do you really like their voice that much?? some of them will totally brag about it, others try to act as they don't care but anytime they heard you they get flustered, others find it amusing and probably even start repeating your favorite voice lines more often!

me angry because i didn't get the wanderer sooo lets talk about promotional banners

The reaction of the characters of the promotional banner when getting to know that you want them so bad will depend, but everyone will be initialy flattered some of them are like "of course you want me, im the best/super strong", others are just grateful that the creator want to use them as a vessel. About the wishes, some of them are too flustered to do something so they just anxiously wait for the game to leave them the oportunity to be with you, other as good acolyotes tries to manipulate the game so you win them in one of your first wishes (as soon as posible), in the other hand, others characters are cocky and prideful of it, they LOVE the feeling of being wanted so bad for the creator themselfs so they give themselves to desire, they wait a little to go with you but is for sure that you will have them, also there are some that acts prideful and want to make you wait but they are the ones who can't wait so they go out in your second wish roll

Now, if you don't want them it would be shocking in the bad way, some of them doesn't take it too bad, maybe you have another strategy or their building materials are difficult to get and they don't want to give you troubles, some even understand if you prefer the other banner, they just step back and wait with hopes that in the next time their banner came you find them more appealing (some of them may be passive-agressive with this, of course you can put your wishes on the other banner, you are the creator after all, but don't be surprised if you don't get the characters you wanted ✨😊✨ they obviously aren't having a fight to the death) . However, we have others that will be angry and maybe offended! Why wouldn't you want them!! They aren't 5 stars for nothing, you know! But you are the creator and you have the last word (even when you are making a mistake), they may or may not push some weapons or even the 4 stars characters you already have to be what you win instead of the character you wanted)

This is something silly based in personal experience, imagine that with one of those prideful characters that want to play around a little and wait until the last minute to go with you, so they push the 4 star characters but surprise! now you use those characters non-stop and even had become your mains!

I been thinking on a post-imposter au where creator!reader finally accept to take place in the throne but cover up all their body and even uses a mask

Everyone thinks that is because the creator is punishing them by don't allowing them to see their face or barely talk to them but in reality reader is too scare to directly talk to them and hates their own appearance because it was the reason they were hunted down in the first place

Maybe reader only alows themselfs to take the mask off with whoever had helped them while the hunting because reader feels comfortable only around them (im thinking on the enemies, u know abyss mages, slimes, hilichurl, but u can think in whoever u want)

I like this idea so fucking much, should i write more about this??

I am not here to tell you and you are not here to listen but I have a problem with alchoholic people or alcholic drinks in general

so that let me thinking that if Venti ever get to know that you don't like how much he drinks he will be between wanting to drown his guilt for making you uncomfortable or worried for him and wanting to stop drinking so much. And not just him, other characters that tend to drink a lot will feel at least a little bad

All those who talked proudly about the wine of their nation are now unsure if it would be alright for them to talk about it, not wanting to make you uncomfortable or even get in your bad side also, the owners of taverns probably apologize to you for the incoveninece

Also, what if there is like a ceremonial wine in the Cult au?? Like, something so special and unique that they only use during rutuals, haha probably they will feel bad for using something you hate in your honor maybe even beg for forgiveness?

I love Aether, he is still one of my mains haha (i don't have much characters anyways)

That lead me to wonder how the characters will think about you favoring and loving the traveller?? Like, they aren't even from Tevyat

I think Traveller will feel complete honor because they weren't only your first vessel but you are also favoring them (i think Lumine will brag about it a little more than how Aether will, but not more than Paimon)

Some acolytes will totally be jealous over it but others will take it well, I guess
