This is a happy plush family of avocados

The parent is super cute and protective, her height is approximately 13 inches (34 cm)

The child is suuuper cute (even more than the parent) and is just having fun with their plush friends, and she is smol - just 6 inches (17 cm)

However although they love their shelfmates they still want to get a home

The greatest work of my mom representing the Slavic culture

Hello guys! Today I would like you to see a truly gorgeous piece of art made by my talented mom. It is her greatest work which demanded an enormous amount of time and effort. I can't say for how long she was knitting it, but I bet you it was more than long.

Just look at it:

Look carefully. And keep in mind that it was knitten from scratch.

Take a closer look and realize how cool my mom is.

The pattern is the same on the other side. Do you know what kind of pattern is used?

Actually, it is a key element of the traditional Slavic art. The style is called khokhloma (hohloma), or khokhlomskaya rospis.

Khokhloma is a Russian wood painting handicraft style and national ornament, known for its curved and vivid mostly flower, berry and leaf patterns (Wikipedia).

It says that khokhloma is a Russian style but, you know, I believe it's present in cultures of other Slavic nations as well. At least, it should've been shared at some point. After all, borshch originates from Ukraine, for example, but it is considered a Russian/Slavic dish.

I can talk about my mom's works and their meanings for eternity, but let me just say that she's tough, really tough.

The size of this masterpiece is 230*200 sm, it suits well for a king size bed. You can use it as a blanket or hang it on a wall - as you wish, in any case you won't regret getting it.

It costs $900, as this exact design is unique and there's no other blanket like this in the whole world. I'm not kidding.

If you are interested, please DM me so we can disscuss everything. Transportation fees and other stuff are included in the price, I'll deal with it myself. In case if you have to pay for getting a package in your country, I'll change the sum or give you back a needed amount (depending on a situation). Long but very important post

Hi guys! My name is Kristina, I'm a Slavic girl and I have a really talented mom. But, unfortunately, she isn't appreciated enough. She's been knitting since I don't remember when, and her works are true masterpieces. I mean, she's a real prodigy! But because of the situation in our country she can't earn money. Actually, she's frustrated: she has a toxic husband which she can't divorce with due to financial dependence, an 8-year-old child, and some health problems that reguire expensive medication. She can't apply for a traditional job because she does a lot of unpaid work and looks after my sister. She has no money for a nanny or after-school activities, and even if she worked part-time, she would not afford it anyway. I do the best I can to help her but I'm just a student with no experience nor degree, so my contribution isn't great at all.

I wrote all this just for you to know my mom better and to understand the situation. Her dream is to become independent and to monetize her hobby. She deserves it. My aim now is to make my mom the main character of her own life.

So, we would appreciate if you consider purchasing something from us. Mom accepts comissions as well! I'll deal with transportation and other stuff, and I'll try to make everything as smooth as possible.
