Lena talking about the “real work” has me wondering if that’s why she’s so keen to mention that people can quit.

Whatever her intentions are, it seems possible to me that she wants the people there to quit before they’re “in.”

Maybe that’s to keep something for herself and any other higher ups, maybe that’s out of some odd form of concern, maybe it’s just that once they’re “in” they can’t, but all I’m saying is it makes sense that the price for leaving would be not truly Knowing.
