After "Chuck vs the Third Dimension," there was a mission. That mission ended in chapter 2. How did the night continue after that? The last time Chuck went to Sarah's room, he saw something which made Sarah dress a certain way in his dreams. This time?

Chuck was given the night off, but he followed Sarah into Casey's car anyway. We were told "To Be Continued," but we never saw what happened. The episode the next week was preempted with a Presidential Address, so the next thing we saw with "Chuck vs the Suburbs," aired out of the originally intended order, set over a month later.
