Creative Resume
I can describe myself as a hardworking and persistent trainee during my duty in the corporate/industrial setting. I do the tasks given to me carefully and patiently. I think one of my greatest strengths is being good at multi-tasking. I have the ability to accomplish two different tasks simultaneously. I can also perform efficiently under pressure and time constraints. I am passionate to learn new things and I am a quick learner as well. I think my weakness is being shy or nervous while speaking in front of a crowd. Sometimes, I also tend to become distracted easily and lose focus on my work. My personal values in life are optimism, honesty, respect, love and compassion. These values made me who I am today. I am a very positive individual especially while facing challenges. I am also an honest person. I don’t lie to others and I admit my mistakes truthfully. In the corporate world, being respectful is really important especially to your superiors. Love and compassion can be really helpful in interacting with your co-workers and to other staffs in the company. These values I have as an individual can help me become more productive and overcome imminent difficulties I will face in the future. My philosophy in life is that I want to make a difference in this world. I want to excel in my chosen career and as well as to help other people improve their way of life.
My professional relationship with my site supervisor was really good. Ms. Nica was very nice, funny and approachable. She taught me a lot of things about recruitment including job sourcing and interview. I really had a nice time working with her. As for my clients, I had a chance to interview different kinds of people from students to job seekers. They were all polite and courteous throughout the session. The employees in the company greatly helped me to enjoy and have fun while working in the company. All of them in the Human Resources Department are very friendly and cheerful. I think it helps to have a good relationship with your co-workers because you can maintain a healthy work environment. Employees working in a healthy environment can perform well. Toxic environment has reverse effects and can cause high attrition rate for the company.
I recommend the future praticumers to be on time always and avoid getting late. Follow the advices of your supervisor and the rules and regulations of the company. Do not forget bringing your ID especially if you don’t have any other form of identification. Be friendly to the employees and always greet them. I will still recommend incoming praticumers to conduct their on the job training in SMDC because they will learn a lot especially in the corporate world. You will also have a chance to experience dealing with different kinds of people. It will be a fun and memorable experience you will never forget.

Time is not really stealing anything from me. This metaphor indicates time passes quickly. For me, my training in the industrial setting happened fast. I started my first training in Eastern Doctors Medical Services at Ermita, Manila from February 5 up to March 16, 2018. My supervisor was Ms. Agnes Macalipay. During my stay here, I became knowledgeable about test administration, test plotting, and test scoring. The tests I’ve learned to administer are Basic Personality Inventory and Purdue Non-Language Test. Some people will retake the intelligence test if they get a low mark. If they still didn’t make the average grade in their second attempt, the test takers will not obtain any recommendations from Eastern Doctors Medical Services. The tests are based on the guidelines of the government regarding psychological evaluation of an individual if he/she is capable and fit to work. Failing on the intelligence guaranteed no recommendation. I also experienced handling different kinds of people from seamen, supervisors, food attendant, technical staffs, and clerical job positions. In the end of the personality test and intelligence test, they will write their own biography about their family, social life and reasons for working. My supervisor and other co-workers are nice and approachable. I also met other praticumers from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila. They were friendly and kind as well. My five week stay in Eastern Doctors Medical Services happened so fast. I will never forget the lessons I’ve learned and the people who made my training productive and fun at the same time.
I continued my industrial setting in SM Development Corporation at Pasay, Manila from March 19 up to April 13, 2018. I became more expose in the corporate world during my duty here. I was assigned in the Human Resource Department under Recruitment section. My supervisor was Ms. Nica Fulgueras, who is a recruitment assistant of the company. Time flies when you’re having fun. I really enjoyed my on-the-job training because of the friendly co-workers I met in the company. I also learned a lot of knowledge and skills especially about recruiting and job sourcing. I really like administering test to new applicants and as well as conducting an initial interview. In addition, I had a chance to experience some tasks regarding payroll and benefits. During my last week in the company, I was assigned to source new employees for the vacant positions in SM Lanang Davao. I noted their numbers from JobStreet and called them one by one for the confirmation. Although I only had a short time in SM Development Corporation, I experienced a lot and met new people. I learned from basic 201 filing up to difficult process of online job sourcing. My experience in a big company like SM Development Corporation is truly unforgettable and enjoyable.
My training in the industrial setting comes to an end. Time really passes us by. We didn’t even realize until the moments became memories. I will surely miss working in both places where I conducted my training. I will forever treasure those moments and the lessons I will surely use in the future. I really hope other praticumers will enjoy their duty in the company because it is really amusing. The employees are very welcoming and friendly. It is really wonderful to work in a healthy environment because you will be more productive and you will not feel the heavy workload. You will also feel that the time is really fast because you are enjoying what you are doing. Time is a thief so you just have to enjoy every moment until you still have some. Make sure you will never forget those experiences and moments because time can also make you forget your memories.
