CSIR NET Education Qualification: The candidate who seeks to appear in the NET exam, should have one of the following degrees to satisfy the CSIR NET criteria:

MSc

Integrated BS-MS

BS-4 Years

BE/B-Tech

B-Pharma

MBBS

Or an Equivalent Degree.

Along with it, you are also required to satisfy the minimum percentage of that are given below:

For General and OBC Candidates - 55% Marks

For ST/SC/PWD Candidates - 50% Marks.

Age Criteria for CSIR NET Eligibility:

The age criteria are different as per the Lectureship & Junior research fellowship.

Age Limit for Junior Research Fellowship:

28 years is the maximum age as of 1st January 2022.

Up to 5 Years of age can be relaxed for SC/ST/OBC/ PwD/Female Applicants & 3 years in case of OBC (non-creamy layer).

Age Limit for Lectureship:

There is no upper age limit in the case of the CSIR NET Lectureship.

What is the latest Syllabus of UGC NET Exam?

Yes, knowledge of the UGC NET 2022 Syllabus is essential.

The UGC NET Admit Card is an essential document to carry in the examination hall. Only the candidate with a valid examination hall ticket is permitted to enter the examination hall.

The NTA posts the UGC NET Admit Card 2022 on the official webpage a few days before the exam. The UGC NET 2022 Admit Card is expected to be released in the last week of June 2022.
