 Despite the fact that I am not deaf, mute, or blind myself, one of the most common questions I receive is how to portray characters with these disabilities in fiction.

Hello! Long time no post! Truthfully i am way more active on my instagram than here, even my own tumblr has seen a drop in posts from me over the years. I think. OC-tober Day 6: clothes you would wear

Big sweaters/ sweatshirts and leggings all day, every day. Also, I played Detroit: Become Human one time and made an OC. Actually 2. This one is named Sam. For several months, I read nothing but smut fanfiction and I still haven't finished the game from my one time playing cuz I already accidentally killed Connor once and I can't go through that again lmao

OC-tober Day 5: clothes that are culturally significant to you.

This is my Miraculous Ladybug OC Sayida Lahlaff, holder of the white owl Miraculous whose superhero name is Noor. She is Ali's cousin and in my headcanon, she comes from a long line of Royal bodyguards who have been trained to protect the Family. Her miraculous has been passed down from generation to generation and its holder is tasked with protecting the child/children of the king and queen at the time. She is Muslim and wears hijab--which as a high schooler and being Muslim myself, I also did. At the time I felt I was ready to do so but the way I was treated and being a self-conscious 14yr old,I ended up no longer wearing it but the hijab does hold an important significance to me and I admire my fellow Sisters and friends in Islam who do so. :)

OC-tober Day 4: Kigurumi!! More OCs from my webtoon. These two are Alaura and Stephen. They're brother and sister and Alaura is a year older so they're pretty close with each other. I wanted to draw them in a way that shows their friendly relationship with each other cuz honestly, despite being so close in age, they rarely fight.

This was also an excuse to draw their respected Pride unicorn kigurumi's and honestly i love them.

BEEN A WHILE SINCE I POSTED ANYTHING MIRACULOUS OR SAYIDA RELATED BUT I HAVE SEEN PRETTY COOL FANART OF LUKA AS VIPERION WITH A FORKED TONGUE SO I WANTED A STAB AT IT. But i wanted my girl, Sayida to be involved somehow. I honestly don’t know where this came from since i don’t really see Luka being the type to provoke anyone just because so this is basically crack lol.

I also wanted to draw Viperion in his outfit cuz i literally just only draw Luka.
