"Shit, Eva", he blinked tiredly, then reached out to grab her wrist and pull her inside. He closed and locked the door behind her. "Did something happen?" As he spoke, he retrieved a dry towel from his bathroom, and walked back to her with a few long strides. His lithe form could be useful sometimes. "You look like you've been out in this vold for hours." He wrapped her in the towel and started to dry her hair with it with gentle rubbing motions.

"Alright, what the fuck. It's 3 AM, you're drenched to the bone, and you're on my doorstep. Explain. I'm very sleepy."

Myrkr didn't know what to reply at first. In the past few decades, he'd gotten used to death. Frankly, he'd stopped aging after he hit his thirties, but he only noticed it when the first World War rolled around and he was met with so, so much pain and death.

Now, his gaze softened as he looked at Q's face. Survivors' guilt. He knew that as well, it was like an old friend that rested its hand on his own shoulders.

Now, he placed one of his own hand on Q's shoulder.

"I'm sorry." He sounded honest. Genuine. Gentle and caring. "There are some things we can not change, and death is one of them. I want you to know that even though I know it's hard to talk about it... if you need it, I'm here to listen."

Myrkr swallowed at the idea. His throat was so painfully dry, he was so thirsty that he could barely stand it.

His once icy blue eyes turned crimson upon his transformation, and he had to live with what he'd become: a bloodsucking night-dweller. The past few weeks had been hard. As a tattoo artist, he could have clients after dark; they never complained about that, some of them were even happy that he took night hours as some people worked in various shifts. He could jokingly say that his longer fangs and crimson eyes were just a part of his brand new gothic vampire vibe. They loved it.

But he couldn't tolerate the thirst. The thrice damned thirst. He looked embarrassed, sorrowful, as he nodded, glancing up in Wanda's eyes.

"Thank you, Wanda", Myrkr muttered softly, "I'm so thirsty. Just... I'll bite your arm where it's not visible, okay? Would you be alright with that?"
