Oliver is also complicated because he’s a bit of a douche. Like he’s definitely an acquired taste cause he can be a bit stuck up/cocky/rude. But he’s still just a person and he hasn’t done anything bad. I could say yes if my friend was a close friend and was just kind annoyed by him but if they HATED him and like talked bad about him behind my back then no.

I love The Lost Boys (1987) because absolutely nothing makes sense. There are vampires there and you've just got to deal with that, no explanation to their powers or backstory at all. A dozen people die and nothing is done about it. Diane Weist doesn't seem the least bit fazed by anything. The grandfather is a literal deus ex machina. Every line is shot like its a badass action quote. For some reason Corey Feldman is an established vampire hunter. Kiefer Sutherland has joined the black parade. Nothing in this movie makes sense and I fuckin love it.
