nick - ok so i have multiple for him too dfghdg i felt So smart with mushroom coral, since (some of them) are solitary and detached from the reef + theyre Alive and actual creatures, but they dont,, look it?? like they dont swim around and do stuff yknow. i thought that would be fun for the guy who sits around and just watches his life happen around him instead of intervening yknow :] and then i remembered that im doing this for mermay and a coral mermaid would be difficult/maybe impossible so :] i made myself pick an actual fish and i went with remora, since they have a similar thing of "passive onlooker" (sticking to sharks and letting them take em wherever lol)
