The mind in the gutter...

Sometimes you just let yourself fall into alice’s rabbit hole when you overthink things and it makes it hard to focus on what’s happening in life. Being quarantined has made me notice that there are people in my life that I miss seeing, talking, and being able to hang out with and it makes me sad that I took those things for granted. Sure the cellphone exists and you can text them whenever you want but, it’s not the same thing.

Why? Why do I get my hopes up in weird ways?

Someone I know and deeply cared about has asked me to be their valentine, and the dense Idiot I was, I asked as friends? Too late to fix THAT mistake later. Then again, I don’t think I’m ready for a relationship at all.
