Personally I’m Gibbs/Tony but I liked Kate (far more than Ziva) and I wouldn’t have objected if they had got together on the show.

DOES GIBBS KNOW?

“Hey, how are you feeling.” Kate slipped into the hospital room, grateful that Tony was finally in a normal room and no longer under the blue lights.

“Hi Kate,” Tony replied quietly, “like shit basically, I don’t think I’ve ever felt so exhausted in my whole life, I just can’t stay awake.”

“At least you’re still alive, thank goodness. I was really worried we were going to lose you back there. That I was going to lose you.” She finished softly.

“Hey, don’t,” he chastised her, “I’m still here. Can’t disobey an order from the Boss, life wouldn’t have been worth living.” He finished with a rough chuckle.

“Always Gibbs’ obedient little puppy.” Kate teased, easing herself onto the bed beside him and kissing him gently.

“Hey, I’m the St Bernard, not a puppy. Anyway, you know how much he means to me. He’s the first adult in my life who’s actually given a damn about me, personally and professionally. He’s kind of like a mentor, father and older brother rolled into one.

“Yes, I know, and I love him for it. Just don’t ever tell him that. Hey, do you think he’s guessed we’re in a relationship, I mean I know it’s only been two weeks.” She asked him.

“What do you think?” Gibbs replied with a grin, striding into the room with three cups from his favourite coffee shop.

tbh the most unrealistic thing in harry potter is when mrs weasley in the first book asks “now what’s the platform number?”

like this woman has been going to that school for seven years and then dropped kids off on the same place for nearly ten like why on earth would she forget the platform number
