unused undertale room_123:

• only room not in regular gameplay to be easily accessible via a simple file edit, don't have to disable dogcheck to get there... along with ENTRY MOTHERFUCKING 17 (room 261)

• like those are the ONLY two non dogcheck rooms...

• well entry 17 is important for deltarune, so if room 123 isn't relevant to Anything, why can we access it ...

More of an idea than a theory, but might as well share it. My “theory” is that Eram is actually a long forgotten dish cloth. Think: What object is used to wipe down cartridges or consoles when they get dusty? (I mean people used to blow into the cartridges back in the day, I used to blow on my SNES cartridges as a small child, cause my Dad said to). You use a cloth. But the last person to probably have used it was Asriel, and he left it under his bed. And on different days, you can find different items hidden underneath, like old CDs and game consoles. So the cloth must have been forgotten under there too, and it became Eram. Or an idea that just popped up now, he’s one of Kris’ missing socks.

entirely out of nowhere crack theory concept: what if eram is the hallway mirror. the way it talks about kris's expression, its knowledge of them, it's placement in the hallway, the lack of it otherwise despite the cactus also being present... I have no other evidence I just thought it was cool
