im not feminist enough for this discussion. i dont think its a problem that little kids teachers are all women lmao. men should indeed stay away from kids. the problem is that there arent women in the OTHER areas of education, namely higher education. the solution is to include women in those, not insert men around little girls

Ways in Which Wirt is Like a Hobbit
Not a fan of adventures and would really like to just go home now
Persistently tries to fit the fantastical events around him into his own, more mundane frame of reference
Makes up poems (but is self-conscious about it)
Stressed out by danger and awkward social situations
Is played by Elijah Wood
Saves the day by employing common sense in a moment of extremely heightened drama
Ways in Which Greg is Like a Hobbit
Very small
Making friends is his superpower
Indomitably cheerful
Has no idea what’s going on but doesn’t really care
Makes up little songs and sings them a lot
Pro-potatoes
In summary, therefore, and weighing all the evidence:

A very shy maned wolf stopping for a visit at a monastery in Brazil for a bite to eat provided by monks. Because of their super long legs, they walk more like giraffes than typical canines. Maned wolves pose no threat to humans.

UK FEMINISTS: sign this petition to make it a legal requirement for every part of the criminal justice system to record the biological sex of all offenders who commit violence against the person offences and sexual offences. Official statistics are already being skewed by self-identification policy, and it’s really important that we have robust and clear data regarding male violence against women.

Misogyny, patriarchy, male dominance, whatever you call it, is so hard to eradicate because it does not exist in law. You can change laws to try to make them more egalitarian. But the law does not change people’s minds. Patriarchy lives in the minds of men and women everywhere. It is passed down through observing and learning. You can try to legislate it away, but that will never change people’s minds. All that really does is make it harder to see. Male dominance will crawl back “from the dead” in all sorts of manifestations until women learn to destroy the patriarchy in their minds. The way transwomen are attempting to take over feminism and destroy female-only spaces? It’s male dominance in another form. You can’t legislate that away. It’ll never work. It’ll keep coming back in some form or another, like it always has. Women have to free ourselves from the internal narrative that we deserve this. That we deserve to be dominated, that it’s all we are good for. Women have to learn to identify with women again. We have to understand and internalize the idea that we deserve better than this, and we are going to have to make our freedom for ourselves. It is intensely frightening for one woman to say no to a man. But women as a group, hundreds, thousands of us, saying no to men; that is much more powerful. We have to stop being afraid of the dominant male inside our minds because he doesn’t really exist. We can exit patriarchy any time we want to, if we all realize this at the same time – the innate power that we have as women, that we have been convinced does not exist.

So I made a post on reddit once discussing my issues and how badly I was treated as, basically a sex object, since childhood.
One dude commented and said that "just because you've been abused by a few men doesn't mean all men are bad." Yknow, the whole bullshit.
The thing is: I used gender neutral pronouns the entire post, so that wouldn't happen. I had no prior posts before that, so he had nowhere to even grasp that I am a woman, and all of my abusers were men. No where. I purposely used gender neutral pronouns to NOT upset the "not all men" MRA's on fuckin reddit lmao.
He was right, too. I am a woman. And they were all men. And they all know it. Even if you specifically keep things gender neutral- if you discuss constant objectification and traumas within your life, they'll instantly read you as a woman hurt by men (aka generalize you) and then in that same breath, say to not generalize all men..???
THAT'S why I'm so over "not all men" or "don't let your past experiences with a few men hurt your view of men" because even if I stay gender neutral, we all know that WOMEN are subjected to far much more sexual harassment, abuse, objectification, torture- at the hands of men. They always tell on themselves.
P.S. this dudes post history was composed of anti abortion, far right propaganda. The men that abuse us KNOW that they abuse us, then gaslight us into thinking it doesn't happen. It makes me sick honestly.
