𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐌𝐏𝐓:                  ＂         it   practically   screams   "nothing   fun   ever   happens   here!"         ＂               from   hayley      /      to   ansel               (      @divienity      )

＂         𝐟𝐮𝐧?         ＂                     head   tilts   and   expression   becomes   one   of   bemusement,      repeating   the   word   slowly   as   though   it   was   somehow   foreign   to   him.      or   rather         .   .   .         perhap   it   was   just   the   concept   ansel   doesn’t   completely   understand.         gaze   turns   away   from   her,      opting   instead   to   inspect   their   surroundings.            ―            hayley   raises   a   valid   point.      the   small   cabin   in   the   woods   that   he   has   chosen   as   his   home   is   far   from   warm      &      inviting.         hard   work   has   gone   into   making   it   at   least   habitable,      but   there   was   a   vast   difference   between   habitable   and   homely         :         sanded   walls   are   still   bare      /      sofabed         (      a   new   invention   introduced   to   him   by   one   of   the   pack.      he   marvelled   at   it   for   hours      )         lacked   any   decorative   take         &         though   broken   window   has   been   fixed   with   his   own   hands,      there   are   no   plants   bathing   in   the   sunlight   it   provides   on   the   sill.         in   some   ways,      the   place   still   looked   abandoned.         the   only   comforting   touch   is   the   lit   fireplace,      heat   emitting   from   flickering   flames.                     ＂         i   confess         .   .   .         i   am   still   uncertain   what   a   modern   day   place   of   living   should   look   like.         the   last   time   i   built   one,      the   world   was   very   different.         ＂                     attention   returned   to   the   other   wolf,      a   subtle   shrug   of   shoulders   joining   his   confession.                     ＂         maybe   it’s   your   turn   to   teach   me.         what   would   you   do   differently?         ＂                     ansel   wouldn’t   take   advice   from   many.         however,   hayley   wasn’t   many.         she   had   proven   that   much   in   the   short   period   they’d   known   one   another.         ansel   had   grown   to   hold   her      &      her   opinion   in   very   high   regard,      despite   initial   hesitance.

important   information   about   my   alaric   muse         :         he   is   still   and   always   will   be   an   enhanced   original   vampire.      i’ve   had   a   post   about   this   before   that   got   accidentally   deleted,   but         .   .   .         this   was   my   favourite   arc   for   him      &      i   intend   to   keep   it   going!      he   is   also   still   the   father   of   his   twins,      in   a   procreation   loophole   that   esther   provided   when   performing   the   spell.      putting   this   back   here   so   i   can   link   it   to   his   name   on   my   muse   list.      that   is   all,   thank   you   for   coming   2   my   ted   talk.

i   cannot   stress   enough   how   much   v.alerie   t.ulle   deserved   absolutely   nothing   she   went   through,      but   people   hate   her   for   simply   still   being   traumatised.
